The Joy Senior Living of Loganville

Firstly, my mother was at another property in Loganville, having to leave Assisted Living and go into Memory Care. The other property wanted to charge us an additional amount for each night in Memory Care (She had lived there, in Independent Living, 8 years and I had already paid the full month for Assisted Living. When I told the Manager, at The Joy Senior Living, what the other property wanted to do, she offered her model unit, at no cost, so I picked up my mother from the other property and she moved into The Joy Senior Living immediately and has "loved" it ever since! The Manager, [name removed] is phenomenal, so caring and affectionate with my mother and the other residents and so are the staff who take care of the residents. Everyone is friendly and takes extremely good care of my mother. The owners, [name removed]and staff also hold events for the residents and their familes. A very peaceful atmosphere is felt right when you walk in. It's amazing!

My mom needed memory care and we found The Joy to be the perfect place for her. The management and staff are friendly and attentive to each resident. Medication is provided as scheduled and they don’t mind you asking about it or other issues that your family member may need. Meals are provided in the memory care section at a “family” table that encourages interaction with other residents to keep everyone involved. If a resident prefers, they can eat in their room. WI-go is available for steaming services (TV, etc). Family and visitors are always welcome! Overall, we are very satisfied with is care facility.

I recently visited my auntie at her new home in Loganville, Georgia. I usually do not go visit her as I don't typically enjoy my time with her at these facilities. This one, The Joy, they call it, is different and it was evident immediately upon entering the home. Bright, clean, and good energy is the best way I can summarize my initial feelings. Then seeing my aunt and her...difference, seemed to be she was beaming, thriving. She evidently has new friends that seem to be right at home too. I am thankful to these nice people and the care they provide. I will be returning more - and for that alone, I am happy (and feel better about myself).

My mother has been a resident at Joy for several months. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. The caring staff have made my mother feel like she is in her home and loved. They have fostered a family environment and hosted family gatherings. It is truly a ‘joy’ to have found this facility.

We have decided to move my mom into Joy after touring several facilities in the area. At the end of the day, their staff was the most engaging and caring. On top of that, it’s a brand new building so everything was clean and smelled nice.

Dad had been living in a large luxury senior facility for two years, but his memory became really bad... along with his balance!! He had multiple falls & since he NEVER called for help he would be found on the floor by the staff the next time they came in. He needed a higher level of care. We found The Joy through Caring.com. What a blessing!! I spoke with their intake coordinator (an RN) on the phone and told her the situation. She was SO incredibly patient with such a positive energy! In person she is even better! My brother and I went to tour and they were amazing! They even served us lunch so we could try the food, which was great!! We took a room in the 12 Bed Memory Care Unit. Dad's room is VERY spacious, light, bright, brand new & shining clean! The staff is fabulous and since all the rooms are only steps away from the central "nurse's station" they are easily able to keep a vigilant eye on my independant Dad. Thank you, Angels, for guiding us to The Joy!!

We moved my dad to memory care section of The Joy at the end of September, 2024. To help with logistics, we moved my dad first, to one of their fully furnished respite rooms, then moved him to his new suite the next day, after we got his furniture moved in and set up. It’s hard to describe how great the staff was (and is!), from the moment we walked through the front door. As you probably know, if you’re considering moving your loved one, it can be pretty stressful— for everyone. Walking into The Joy with my dad was like walking into a sanctuary of caring and calm (outside, there was literally a hurricane approaching :-) ). One day recently, after he’d been there a couple weeks, I was sitting with my dad in his room enjoying a cup of coffee together and, unprompted he said: “I like my new home.” He’s not a man of many words. It made my day. So grateful for everyone at The Joy!

I visited this facility for my mom and couldn’t be more impressed. The staff was super friendly, the living area spacious and the bedroom the perfect size. I can’t wait for her to start her next chapter here.

After touring several communities in the area, we decided to move forward with Joy Senior Living. It was by far the nicest community in the area since its brand new. Their staff also seems to be very helpful and nice.

I have seen a lot of communities and this one by far was the absolute BEST! We did not have an appointment, so we dropped in unannounced for a tour. From the moment when we first walked in until it was all complete was truly a pleasure. We immediately felt welcomed as we were greeted by everyone we approached (residents and staff), and the delicious aroma of lunch being prepared (which everything is homemade from scratch) instantly made me hungry. During the tour, we were completely impressed. Everything is brand new, and bright, it all gives a positive feeling and welcoming atmosphere. I spoke to some of the residents during my visit and they all raved about how much they love the staff and the food here. At the end of our tour, we were surprised with lunch and dessert to try! That was the icing on the cake, not only did they check all of our boxes, they sealed the deal with the amazing lunch. I tell everybody about this lovely community, and we are so happy we moved our mom in here.

I absolutely love what this brand new community has done. With only 24 total beds, this feels more like a community/home than another big box facility. The staff was very friendly and engaged with us the entire time to figure out exactly what we are looking for.

This is a new facility located in the Loganville area. I met with [name removed] before the grand opening and she was willing to extend her day to meet with me after hours. The admission paperwork was thoroughly explained to me which made the admission a smooth process. The facility is always spotless clean and the staff is friendly. My mother loves the church services held on Sunday. If an issue is brought to [name removed] concerns, she responds and corrects it immediately. Joy Sr Living is seven minutes away from my home so I can visit my mother without having to navigate bad traffic. It has a large front porch so the residents can sit outside and get plenty of fresh air. My mother looks forward to this. Overall, I am pleased with my decision and placement for my mother as a resident of Joy Sr Living.
