Definitely recommended
I would definitely recommend Brookdale Meridian Assisted Living to others. The staff and residents were both very friendly and helpful. I was always able to reach out with questions via email, phone, and in person.
My loved one wasn't there for very long before transitioning into hospice. The staff was supportive of both my loved one and our family during her time in hospice.

Horrible staff
The employees are getting high on break/lunch and then “caring” for their residents. One in particular [name removed] posted a video of herself smoking marijuana on break. They are caring for our loved ones, HIGH. That puts our loved ones at risk. Horrible, do not send your family here.

A peaceful place to live.
My parents are making friends and enjoying their company. They enjoy the staff. They also enjoy the meals. It has been a peaceful place for them to live.

Brookdale Meridian was a smaller community. It was clean, and the rooms were nice. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. But it was very expensive - $8,000 per month plus another fee for supplies.

I thought Brookdale Meridian was a nice place, and we did consider them. I liked that they had individually sized dining rooms per quarter of the floor. So the dining experience was more intimate and less overwhelming with fewer people. They had good activities. The apartments were nice. The staff seemed accommodating to the residents. We just didn’t get that homey feeling we were looking for.

Wonderful staff. Pleased with care.
The staff is wonderful, and any concerns have been addressed immediately. Unfortunately they lost their activities director so had to rate that a bit lower, but dad doesn't really take part in too much now-they have been trying to fill the gap while hiring someone new.

Awesome experience
Having a hair stylist on sight is great, their maintenance team is very helpful and have been very accommodating to me so far. Based on my experience I would recommend the Brookdale Meridian community to other families.

A Great Place
My mom seems to be very happy at Brookdale Meridian. They have plenty of activities, which was important to us. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. It's a very nice place and has been a great experience for our family. I have no concerns having my mom there. One thing I didn't think about when searching for and selecting a place for my mom was to make sure you ask for specific financial information and documentation in the beginning. When you're new to the process, it's kind of like you're both speaking different languages, and there were a couple of little things that caught me off guard when we moved in. But it has been a great place overall.

Very Caring, Safe Community
My loved one is settling in. I feel it's a caring community. They do a good job keeping their residents safe. I don't worry about my loved one falling or getting hurt or leaving. I think they do a good job with the care. They call and check in with me, and they seem to really care about the members of the community here.

Very pleased with our experience
We chose Brookdale Meridian because I thought the facility and the staff really set themselves apart from the others that we looked into. What sticks out to us the most is the staff members, they have bene extremely friendly and helpful and have gone above and beyond. I would recommend this facility to other families looking.

The staff members are extremely friendly, they have answered any and all questions and have been super helpful. Our loved one is very happy with the meals and dining service and the activities. It is just a wonderful community.

Brookdale Is Among The Better Communities In The Area
I would recommend this community to others. The staff is very good and attentive to the residents.
They eventually did get back to me with questions, it wasn't immediate though.
The food was ok, my loved one didn't complain.

I would recommend.
They are clean. The building is up to date. Easy to navigate the hallways and well lit. The front desk staff was very friendly. Room sizes were adequate. They are cost-effective. They have gorgeous outdoor space, several patios, and a walking path around the building.

Not the best experience
The food was good and they do take good care of the community. The staff did not seem to follow through on my dad's personnel needs. They do not have a nurse on staff in the evening to help with medication. They charged for extra services that he was not receiving. The administration is hard to work with. We are having an issue with the billing department for the short time dad was here.
