We can easily share these records with loved ones. We offer three levels of care at Cedarhurst of Bloomington. Supportive care involves verbal reminders from one of our caregivers to make sure your loved one completes necessary activities of daily living in order to reinforce healthy habits. Assistive care is more hands-on. We’ll observe your loved one to make sure they can complete their tasks safely and will offer some hands-on assistance if anything is too difficult. Comprehensive care places the responsibility of daily personal care tasks in the hands of our capable caregivers. We’ll offer your loved one all the hands-on assistance they need, but will step aside when they’re capable of doing something independently. No matter what level of care a resident needs, we’ll always offer medication management to help keep track of medications.</p> <p>Our staff is available 24 hours a day, and with our emergency pendant program, your loved one can call for assistance no matter where they are. Our caregivers are specially trained by a certified dementia practitioner. Residents will also receive frequent visits with our physician and nurse practitioner. Our community offers on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well, should your loved one ever need it.</p> <p>If you’re a full-time caregiver for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s, you may want to use our adult day care or respite services when you wish to take a break from your duties.
