She loves watching the birds in the garden & they allow birdfeeders that they will fill. Residents are free to go out in the garden where they have benches and chairs to just sit and enjoy the fresh air. She has gained (much needed) weight because she likes the food and eats 3 meals a day. This seems to make her more stable walking around and she has been walking around every day in instead of just sitting like she did at home. They have activities every day and are great at encouraging participation by the residents. If she is in the mood to be alone, that's ok too. It is small enough that there is a family atmosphere and all the staff knows her name. They are caring and very competent.
