Chisholm Place is a memory care community located in Wichita, Kansas. They are an exclusive memory care community with a variety of specialized care services offered as well. They have a beautiful landscaped garden as well as secured walking paths. The community in Wichita, Kansas is located in a residential area near restaurants, parks, and medical centers. Residents can relax and enjoy high-quality memory care from specially trained staff and caregivers.
Residents at the community can expect to receive memory care as well as supplemental ambulatory, diabetic, and personal care as well as medication management. Local specialists are available to provide additional care as needed.
Residents and guests alike may enjoy three chef-inspired restaurant-style meals. Restaurant staff are happy to make dietary adjustments as needed to help ensure residents are satisfied and receiving proper nutrition. We were very pleased with Chisholm Place and would highly recommend it. My mom passed a year ago in [date removed]. Our mom enjoyed the activities, I think especially the ones when they brought in animals to hold. The head chef, I don't remember his name, always looked out for her as she was a slow eater and seemed to be one of the last to leave the dining room. He always checked on her to see if she needed any help or anything else. The facility was well maintained and clean. Very important to us. We felt like mom was well monitored. Chisholm was a great recommendation

Unfortunately my friend lived there 7 months and died in December. They took good care of her. Two things. The facility Is set up to where all the residents have access to everything. There's not any particular group that is cut off from other residents or facilities. I was very relieved to find that once my wards trust fund ran out, they take medicaid..

With a family member as a resident at Chisholm Place, I find that the staff is attentive and supportive, and the facility is clean and inviting. I would like to see the aides more confident in working with those patients who are working towards healing and becoming independent.

I like the activities the most about the facility and there isn't anything that I like least. I only looked at one other place and Chisholm had a medical lift available if needed later.

It fit all my dads needs. Memory care, exit seeker-secure, they will accept Medicaid after dads money runs out. They are very clean, caring staff. I would recommend to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Chisholm Place and overall, the experience has been good. The food and activities are great. The care services and staff are good. I would recommend Chisholm Place to others. However, I would advise families to get as involved as much as possible with the staff in their loved one's care.

ALL STAFF exceed on caregiving. There is always plenty of staff to accommodate the needs of the residents. Chisholm Place has family cookouts and functions to make a family-friendly atmosphere. It's a special place for your special family member to live. There is plenty of space in the rooms. There is room for some personal belongings and furniture, within reason. It makes residents comfortable.

I would definitely rate Chisholm Place a 5 in all 7 areas. I have been so impressed with each and every interaction with staff at all levels. I knew instinctually that my dear friend would receive loving and caring memory care at Chisholm. It always feels like home each time I visit. Based on the experience we have had so we would without a doubt recommend Chisholm Place to other families.

Mom has been here a few months and I think that they are doing a really nice job. The only issue we have really had is the response time when she needs help is sometimes 10 minutes or so which is pretty long for her. She has a private room and it is a little cramped. I would recommend Chisolm Place for those looking for memory care for their loved ones.

I would encourage you to look around at different communities. Here they are understaffed and controlling with what the residents can have to eat and drink. This has made it hard on my loved one to adjust to the community.

This place is a terrible place to send a love one. The girls are always short staffed and over worked. I cannot imagine them being able to care for someone how they should with not having the proper staff. I went on a tour and thought this place would be great for my loved one. They made a lot of promises that they did not follow through on. The marketing lady expressed there were are always activities going on however I found that not to be true. I eventually moved my love one out and to another facility which is awesome!

Suffice it to say... absolutely fantastic, compassionate and caring staff, as well as a beautiful, bright, and well-appointed facility that is more reminiscent of a refined hotel than anything else... absolutely does not have that 'nursing home' vibe, whatsoever, just... home. Amazingly, it's also what we found to be the best pricing around. Period. We whole-heartedly, and without hesitation, recommend Chisholm Place! I could not have entrusted my mom to better people, nor to a better place! I thank God for leading us there!

My mom likes it here. Activities especially when they get to go on adventures out of home. Food ok. Staff great! Sometimes out of kleanex and other bathroom supplies. Wish they would change sheets more often.
