Review for Copperfield Estates
The staff is great and so is the activities but since new owners have taken over the food quality is sub par and the diner is understaffed. The whole dining experience has changed and since not enough staff or food comes later and later. Some staff doubles as waitresses and housekeepers so sometimes my apartment doesn't get cleaned for two weeks. But overall I'm still happy here

To be polite zero to one and maybe some a total zero. Thru my two week stay (1). What they could improve on - make sure duck poop is clean daily-----food preparation so improved----improve a way as the kitchen staff A more sophisticated way of the servers and it feel like you're lucky to be there----make sure all tenant and guest are treated equally-----a couple of ladies I met there text me and said they had brought in 55 almost welfare patients and they have moved out anything else I can help you with I could go on and on but neighbors to say I'm not calling names or making a comparison because our plan to stay in my home. It was only 15 minutes from my home. The only thing I would suggest is to have a better trained staff with compassion. It's OK you can use my name because I could add a lot more to it which I'm not that kind of person. Another thing when they have families to come and talk to them, they need to have a tenant person girl with the staff member and the guest and that the guest ask questions for the staff member to invite the family member to join lunch tea coffee whatever to show that their family friendly, not be treated like you were off the streets...

There is one big drawback. They only have one elevator. When that isn't working it is s BIG safety hazard. The staff is extremely helpful, compassionate and kind when dealing with the needs of residents especially at meal times. Housekeepers do an excellent job if cleaning our apartments once a week. The food preparation and service are great.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful staff member and given a tour. Lots of remodeling of the establishment. Paint, carpet, etc. menu looked great. My mother is settled in and enjoying her time with the staff and the other residents at this establishment would highly recommend to anyone. Very comfortable very relaxed atmosphere. And staff is always willing to help and answer. Any questions you may have about your loved one..

[name removed] was amazing. I was able to tour the facility and meet with [name removed]. In the transition to get my mom moved in. Everything was so smooth. We were able to get all of the necessary paperwork done in one afternoon and the moving was seamless and organized. Highly recommend.

My sister lives at Copperfield and has been there for 4 years. Staff, food and service here is great. I recommend them all the time. My sister is very happy here and so are we the family. The caring atmosphere they provide all residents really makes the difference.

We moved my grandmother here and she is very happy. She loves her apartment and the community. She raves about the food and so far has had a great experience. The staff has been really helpful in getting acclimated.

So far I have been satisfied with the facility. The are renovating the place making it look even nicer. The menu needs to change up every once and awhile but the food is good. Maintenance is a little show on repairs but eventually the do it. Staff if friendly, responsive and communicative.

Copperfield Estates is a great place for senior adults. Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating. It’s easy to make friends there. There are so many different activities going on each day. It’s a very active place, if you choose that! The 3 meals a day, that are provided, are all great! You always have several choices to choose from. It is very nice and clean. It is very safe too! The office staff is very friendly, helpful and always there for anything you need. They go out of their way to help you, always! I highly recommend Copperfield Estates if you have a senior loved one that’s looking for a place to live.

My loved one has lived there 3 years after the death of her husband. She was very depressed when she moved in. With the overwhelming amount of kindness shown by all the staff at Copperfield and the abundance of outings and activities offered, she was able to cope better with her depression and start enjoying life again! I can’t thank the Copperfield staff enough! Would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place that feels like home for their loved one

When you walk in it’s feels homey. There are so many activities for different types of residents. From early morning walks to afternoon root beer floats, bingo, arts & crafts, happy hour celebrating from National beer day to Red wine day to mimosas. There is always something to do. Weekly shopping trips to the grocery store and restaurants. I highly recommend Copperfield Estates.

Initial services outlined last year have been reduced or eliminated and the monthly fee has been increased by 9%. Dining service was advertised as "table service", that is now available ONLY tp wheelchair bound residents ... remainder wait in a buffet line to order meals. Laundry is DIY with limited number of w/devices available per floor. In case only 1 washer and 1 dryer are available for 25 plus apartments. Maintenance of common area lighting is lacking. FIRE DOOR system maintenance on 3rd floor was ignored for 2 months, wedges were used by staff to keep doors open.

Areas they could improve on - definitely the food. When we signed up it was restraint style and food was varied and very good. Since new company bought it, now buffet style, limited choices, choices repeated frequently. Maintenance is very slow. Activities are same all the time. They used to take them out for outings now they don't.
