<p>Studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plan options are available at Courtyards at Lake Granbury, so residents can choose a layout and price point that best suits their individual needs. All apartments feature individually controlled heating and air conditioning as well as a wheelchair-accessible bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower. Select units include a walk-in closet, and the one and two-bedroom apartments feature a full-sized kitchenette, too.</p>
<p>For added convenience, several utilities — including cable TV, Wi-Fi, and telephone — are bundled into each month’s rent, so you only need to keep track of one payment.</p>
<p>Caring for a loved one can be difficult, which is why short-term and respite stay options are available for those who need help caring for their loved one for whatever reason. Guests must stay for a minimum of two weeks, where they will have access to all the community’s amenities, activities, and services just as long-term residents do.</p>

<p>Courtyards at Lake Granbury is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<h4>Assisted Living Facility</h4>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br>
<dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br>
<dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</dd></dl><p></p>
