What we like the most about the community is that there are a lot of activities and exercise classes, etc for the residents. Yes, we would recommend Glencroft Center to other families. They do have a very friendly and helpful staff!

The move in process was smooth. My parents have been there a year now. I'm very pleased with Glencroft. It's an older facility, but I feel they keep on top of maintenance & are in the process of making many improvements at this time. The staff is very nice!! The biweekly cleaning service is great. Having an onsite medical office is great too! I had so much help during the initial tour of Glencroft & with the move in process. My parents like the variety of choices. Diabetic & gluten free options would be helpful. There are plenty of options for activities both on campus & off. Glencroft is an excellent option for seniors on a very fixed budget.

I had reached out to them previously so when I was given the information for different places the rep. that I spoke with previously reached out to me and told me about the other places they had and gave me and my father a tour. He loves it and it came with many perks.

When something in her room needs attention, they are super fast responding and solving the problem. I appreciate the temporary use of portable A/C unit when hers was on the fritz.

They took very good care of my friend. The person in charge of her place stayed in contact with me about her whenever there was a question or change in her health or behavior. The food was very good she enjoyed it. Her room was large and she did not have to share it. She was in memory care at Sarah's place at glencroft. It's a very clean place and safe. I would definitely recommend it.

My dad hasn't done much yet in the community. It will take him time. He does like going to the restaurant. I feel the restaurants need to change the menu a lot more often than they do. I have a friend who used to live in my neighborhood, live right across from my dad in the crossings. She takes full advantage of all the community activities. My only complaint is that sometimes they take a little longer to fix things. For instance, his air conditioning tends to leak sometimes and they have to fix it. They've had to fix it three times already in the last five months. Sometimes they take too long to fix the air conditioning and it's hot outside. I usually go to the office and take care of things. Other than that, he enjoys the place very much.

This relates only to the secure memory care facility. What I've seen of unassisted and assisted living residents seems 5s across the board. Everyone I've encountered in those living areas seem quite happy.

The housekeeping staff and maintenance staff are so kind and helpful. Food service is great and if you want they will deliver to your apartment door. This is the kind of place I would want to live at when I can no longer manage a home.

The facility itself is amazing and offers so much more than other facilities; medical clinic on site, house calls, tons of activities, educational classes, mini mart, thrift store, three restaurants as part of the plan, indoor pool, all in a more outdoor, natural setting. It's more spread out, but all is easily accessed by short walks. It's older too, but for the average person, is fine. The price was the best we could find for my sister- in- law, for what was offered and needed for independent living.

My sister in law is in Memory Care. I like how kind and nice they are to the residents. The caregivers talk and even visit with them some. (I realize they are very busy, but a smile to the residents goes a long way.) Food is not the greatest, but it's ok. We are happy with her care and she is happy there. We know she is safe and comfortable. They are always welcoming to us to visit her.( which is not all that easy, because the residents are under lock and key and caregivers must stop what they are doing to come and let us in and out.

This shows caring and concern and can remember what I order without actually looking at my ticket and then she remembers what I said about 40 minutes ago that I want in my dessert to go. I look in here. She comes with my dessert. She is outstanding in performance and I see her at other tables and she goes and she ask is there anything that she can do and obviously there isn’t anything because she’s covered everything previously so I just want to say she’s outstanding in her performance and she deserves an adult a girl plus she deserves to win them the money and she is a keeper here at Glencroft. She’s an asset to the establishment. That’s all I have to say she’s amazinge thank you [name removed]

My parents recently moved to Glencroft Center for Modern Aging in Glendale, AZ. I’m confident they’ll be living their best life in a community that offers them independent living, opportunities to be socially & physically active, as well as on site access to medical care. Transportation services, multiple dining options & twice monthly apartment cleanings are included with the rent. The staff is friendly, caring & quick to help with any needs or concerns. Most importantly for me, as my parents care needs change, so do the services that are offered making Glencroft their forever home.

I understand it is an old place, Needs some paint, whatever. Could be little better food some days in Friendship BUT as far as We are concerned that's not the most important thing. The employees are wonderful, Caring people. They take time to talk to the old people. They smile and wave, call them by name. Even sometimes sit among them and talk to them. (Many of the 'clients' have such Memory loss and dementia, it can be difficult to even talk to them.) I understand they all want to go home. But they are safe, fed 3 meals, kept warm, and Treated with respect. They are not left in their room to sit and stare at the TV all day. And I have 2 other friends who moved there and are in 'independent' care and are very happy. I have had a number of friends and family move to many 'Retirement Homes' newer, Whatever but I give the Staff an A plus. That's not everywhere. Some places it's Just a job.

I would tell them ita a great place. I have no issues in the year and half my mom has been there. All the staff is very helpful, caring, and thoughful with their residents and their families. I am very very satisfied with the care they give my mom.

My dad is a resident at Glencroft Center For Modern Aging and he likes it there. We would recommend the facility to others. The housekeeping staff are very attentive. As for the meals, if you don't want to go out to eat on the campus, they will deliver your meal. The maintance men are so helpful.

This place is old, dirty and bug infested. The food is mediocre at best. It is very expensive for 50 year old crappy apartments. My mom and dad were so miserable there. There is mold in the pool building and in other buildings. There are also mice and other bug infestations around the campus. Avoid at all costs!
