Nothing fancy, but good tasting, and nutritious foods given in healthy portions. (where we had her previously she was getting far too much pasta and too large of portions and was gaining a lot of weight). There is a variety of activities, from games, to crafts, movies, sing-a-longs, parties, trying new foods etc. Mom cant participate in as much but she is always welcome to be in the room and likes being around the others even if she can't do the activity. \n\n\nWe are thrilled that we chose Haven for mom. She is thriving here. Although she is in advanced stages of Alzheimers, and has difficulty communicating, they have been very patient and caring with her. The place is always clean, the tables are always set with table cloths and flowers. They have on premises hair salon and even have a foot care and a doctor who comes there so as not to have to come take her for appointments. \n\nI visit regularly and even volunteer there.
