In the last year, they had declined in quality of service. Too few workers to patients. Place wasn't as clean as past years. Our biggest frustration was we told them to keep pads on the bed because she has accidents. After she wet the bed, them made her sleep on the wet mattress.

Staff is wonderful and so helpful. [names removed]and all the people in Concierge have been great. Have bent over backwards to make Mom's transition seamless. The only issue that Mom has made me acutely aware of is she's not a fan of the food. She's never had any nutritional guidelines that she follows. I'm sure it's bland by her standards.

I was a respite patient so my experience is different from most. I had a short stay to recover from surgery. The majority of the staff is wonderful and caring, the food was delicious and varied. There were enough activities to keep you entertained during the day but almost nothing at night. 20 year old movies didn't appeal to me when I could stream current movies on my tablet. I guess you could say that sums up the whole living experience there: dated. The facility and furnishings are adequate but need updating badly. Many doors and restrooms are not handicapped accessible. Even ones that are supposed to be don't work. What's up with that? There are beautiful outdoor spaces to use but are extremely difficult to access, unmaintained and generally ignored by the staff. Like I said above, the direct care nursing staff and the kitchen staff really made me feel comfortable and cared for.

Overall a very positive experience! The staff was great. Very helpful and caring. The residents were very friendly and took it upon themselves to try and engage my mom in different activities. I felt like residents looked out for each other. My mom was happy there.

As a family member I found staff from administrators to leaning and kitchen staff all friendly and helpful at all times. My brother in law lived in an independent living apartment with lovely large windows and a courtyard outside and a small kitchen and just the right amount of room for a studio. Would recommend to anyone who asks.

I would recommend. I would add the move in process was quite stressful and I wish there was a bit more assistance and guidance with that. The proximity for visiting - it was one of the closer options for my dad to visit. And the activities and organization.

Dirty linens and garments were left in the room until laundry day. The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. The staff were so good with dad. Engaging, attentive, but not qualified for the level of care he needed. Good with memory care, but he began having toileting issues, and they couldn't be what he needed. Great at everything they were qualified for. It was a difficult but necessary decision to move him from Legacy. But he needed a different level of care. We were sad to take him away from the staff that cared so much for him. We miss them, too.

We picked this community because it was close to my doctors and other medical staff when needed. Wanted to stay on the east side. Apartment shown was on the main floor. Close to the dining room, the mailboxes , the elevator and the concierge desk. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Salesperson was very patient with me. However I am paying a premium to live on this floor, to have a full balcony and its location. I was not informed of this at any time. Bottom line I would not recommend this place until things improve. Many people are NOT independent and should be in assisted living. The most recent residents are demanding, rude and all they do is complain. Sometimes it feels like I am back in elementary school. Also it has been close to a year that this community was bought out. Since the assisted living has not been able to pass state inspection everything has been on hold . Hands are tied with even the smallest improvements here in independent living. Where is our rent money going to and since I've been here there has been an 8% rent increase. March rent will probably go up again for the year all under the legacy and not the new company.

This is memory care so there are always things to clean up, but the staff does a great job of keeping on top of that. The facility, overall could use some newer furniture. Not to say it's bad, it just gets a lot of wear and tear. can't say enough about the staff. They work so hard and every time I am there, they are kind, helpful, and caring. They speak gently to the residents. My dad gets hugs hello and goodbye when I take him out for the day. They are attentive. They take the time to get to know the residents, they ask me questions about my dad and what he was like before he had dementia. I feel secure knowing he is being well cared for, and he has shown a level of happiness and contentment that I haven't seen in him in a long time. I have only had one meal there with my dad and it was fine. He has no complaints and has even put on a little weight since moving in. My dad doesn't seem very interested in the activities that they have, but he does participate sometimes and he likes it when they go out on field trips. The value for cost is great. It's a little less than most places but I don't feel it's lacking anything.

I can't say much as I'm not the one staying there. I guess the only complaint my mom has is she wish she could get some snack food after dinner. Yes, I'd recommend the facility to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Phenomenal place for a loved one to live. The staff there truly cares about the residents and despite my mother eventually moving out because she was not up to it, from her first reaction to last was that she was very happy with the location, facility, staff, and the people she met there. It's a great place to live.

The biggest issue we had was that after we placed her there, we found out that the memory care unit she was in was "assisted living". To this day, I can not figure out how you have a memory care unit that is assisted living

My mom passed away in April. Her experience at Legacy was wonderful. They were very accommodating and supportive throughout the entire process. [name removed], the gentleman in charge of residents etc was phenomenal. My mom loved the food. The desk staff was wonderful. The residents were very welcoming and included my mom in things as soon as she arrived.
