We have been in the process of visiting AL community’s and had a wonderful tour with Legend at Mingo Road. [name removed] and [name removed] have gone out of their way to answer all questions and to support us as we navigated to find the right place for our mother. The facility is lovely with a homey feel. The team there seems very caring.

My MIL moved in last month. The staff helped us get settled. The maintenance staff went out of his way to help get the tv set up. The nurse called and talked to us a long time. The front desk person remembered us and greats us each time. The facility is very nice and well maintained. The gardens are beautiful. There are many activities for the residents to choose from.

This was refreshing to see a warm facility like this one! It does not feel like a facility; it feels like a home!!! Being out of state it gives me peace of mind that they are being taken care of. Very content with Legends

*Really pay attention to how you are dealt with and how each admin. staff leaves you feeling. *Pay attention to Senior nurse in how knowledgeable they are. *Speak up when you feel or sense something is off or your request or concerns aren't being acknowledged.

The Legend is an assisted living facility. At some point greater assistance will be needed. Be prepared. The Legend worked with me however my mom's needs overwhelmed what could be provided. The Legend served us well, and The Legend was the staff. I would highly recommend this facility to anybody looking.

The meals here are so so - they don't have a lot of variety, and the everyday options on the menu are mostly fried food. The people here are awesome and truly care - it feels like a family.

My dad was only here about 9 months. He fell and hit his head and passed away from the injury. Legend at Mingo was a great choice for my dad. The people there were always so friendly and helpful. [name removed] and [name removed] were great on getting my dad apartment and always speaking to you when you went in, also all the staff was friendly and talk with you.

It's a good place overall. My main two complaints would be the rent has increased multiple times over the past year and a half, and the quality of food and food servers has decreased immensely. Very disappointed about that.

The people always go out of their way o do what's asked. All are very friendly as well. The facility is bright, clean, and cheerful. The Legend dining area is top-notch, and the variety of menu items is good. As far as daily organized activities are concerned, Legend plans out the entire month of activities in advance, and all AL residents get a copy so they can pre-plan their days ahead. All in all, Legend has been a good choice for my dad's care.

I think that they could improve on the menu. They seem to have the same thing over and over. They don't have a lot of activities. So maybe have days where they have different crafts or serve food that day for whatever holiday is near. [facility name removed] in Tulsa has all of that. Also they could be a little more proactive with care. They are short staffed a lot.

If you are looking for a place for your mother, look no further than Legend at Mingo. Our family is so thankful her last days were spent in this lovely facility. Meals were healthy and delicious, and we loved how the residents gathered in the dining and living room to enjoy each other's company. Most important was the quality of loving care she received from the staff. They were quick to notify me if need arose, which I so appreciated. When mom was in the hospital or rehab, several nurses and staff members would call to check on her progress. When hospice was needed, they did everything to make this time easier for mom and all of us. Providing constant and loving care until her last day. As the director said, " this is her home, this is where she should be, surrounded by her family and her own things, not in a hospital room". That meant so much to me and all the family. I thank God I found Legend for my mom's last year of life.
