The staff offers special activities for dementia patients to keep them feeling part of a community - from games, to interesting tv programs, to live music. I told my mom it is like living on a cruise ship that never leaves the dock. When it is time, hospice works hand in hand with the nursing staff, insuring residents have the hospital bed and medications they need.
