Comfortable Care

Marian Manor has a comfortable feeling. It is nice that family members can come and go without any hassles. They have dogs that roam in and out so you have to be tolerant of that situation.

Feels like home

I've had my husband in 3 different homes. Marion Manor did not have any availability at the time so I had to wait. I have never been happier with the care and attention that Marion Manor provides. It feels like home. My husband is well cared for and at peace and so am I.

Highly recommend

5 for all. They watch his medications very well. Nurse practitioner in often, blood work done on a schedule, well monitored, they never add extra charges. They are very caring and his medications are perfect, quality of life better. Your company recommended it to my daughter and the administration is excellent and well credentialed. They have a cat and several sweet dogs that make it homier. Never are under staffed i cannot recommend it enough.

Peace of mind

The staff keeps the family well informed about any health and emotional issues. I do think they probably need more staff to help with the cleaning.

If you love your love, one, do not put them here

This place is the worst facility I have ever been to. There is no call bells in any of the rooms. I have Witness residents Fall on the floor and stay there for hours because no one knew they were on the floor. I have Witness residents fall in the bathroom And there’s no call bell. You have 30 people on one floor with three bathrooms, one is a main bathroom. All of them use it, and it does not get disinfected. They have urine all around it. The ceiling in the main dining room is falling down. It actually hit one of the residents in the head, and nothing was done about it. The only activities they do with the residents is sing songs, one day a week, which a guy come in and does that. They just sit around in the living room and look like zombies. They are always soaking wet, this place is the worst of the worst . I witness a few people fall on their head, and a week later passed away This place looks worse than a county jail. The best thing they have here is the food

Toured this facility

I was looking for a place for my father who has severe dementia. The lady we talked to was very informative and educated about dementia and how to handle people who can be combative. The physical plant is more like a home than a facility- which I really liked. The staff I saw was nice, everyone smiled and spoke to me. The patients seemed to be happy. The meal looked good. I am moving my father in next week. There are fancier places I looked at but I was sold on the care model . I talked to 2 families onsite who were very pleased with the care their family member was getting. I give it 5 stars.

Such a Caring and wonderful staff and care

We just can’t say enough words to show our gratitude of the care and staff who go above and beyond with the care of their residents . Our mother n law and my Mom have had nothing but great care and are treated as if they are family. This is not a huge and fancy place but it has the atmosphere as if you are cozy and at home. I’ll take my Fsmily being well cared for over bells and whistles any day Thank y’all for always looking out for our Moms.

Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and this was our least favorite out of the communities we looked at. The lady we met with was very nice, but it was not a good first impression. The community looked dirty, the residents did not look taken care of, there was not a lot of staff on site, and not a lot of amenities. It seemed border line not safe, and we would never recommend to anyone

Avg age seems to be 85. Only one room...

Avg age seems to be 85. Only one room w/bathroom across the hall. Room would fit his chair, bed and small dresser. Very hot when we say it. Tables seemed to be crowded when residents eat. Thursday they go out on the bus (except when to hot).
