Having said that, I rate them as 5 across the board. The facility is older but clean and quiet. The staff have always been helpful to me throughout the process of acquiring a room and getting my mother moved in. My mother has yet to voice any complaints after almost 6 months as a resident. Her particular room does not have washer/dryer hookups so that would be her only issue but we knew that when taking the room. As far as value for the money, the same services here in Northern Virginia are about double the cost. No complaints to date. When you are physically separated from your parent, when they are aged and live alone there is a constant magging worry...should she still be driving, is she eating well, taking prescribed medications daily, interacting with others instead of watching NCIS episodes at jet engine decibel levels (I'm sure you get that one...you can substitute Law and Order for NCIS). Knowing there is a caring staff, a clean facility, activities to partake in, etc., eases the worry.
