Professional and Loving Care
My father had a stroke the week before Covid closed down the state. He went to rehab where he recovered from his stroke but contracted Covid. He also recovered from Covid, but we were unable to physically see him for 2 months. It was a terrible time. {name removed} and her staff were recommended to me from a local nonprofit. From the moment my father was taken to Stratford House, he was treated wonderful. For 3 months all he wanted was a haircut and that is exactly what he got from one of those angels caring for him. [name removed] was in constant contact with me. I never had to wonder how my father was doing because I was always informed. My father received professional and loving care during his last days.

Excellent care from a wonderful staff
My mom has lived at Stratford House for one year, and moving her there was a life-changing decision for our entire family. When she arrived - after spending a few stressful months at a much bigger and fancier facility - she was in terrible shape. Within in days of moving to Stratford House her health had improved beyond what we thought was possible. The care at Stratford House is truly excellent. The house itself may look modest, but the 24 hours assistance provided to the residents is exceptional. The staff are all friends with each other and some are family, giving the house a feeling of congeniality, mutual support and respect. The owner is not only a dedicated and caring nurse, but a smart, capable and communicative business woman. I highly recommend Stratford House if your loved one is beyond assisted living and needs skilled, hands-on support. Having my mom at Stratford House has given my sister and me true peace of mind.

Superb individual care!
I have a very dear friend in an adult care home called Stratford House. They provide 24/7 care, meals, snacks, laundry, give medications, bathing and the best individual care I’ve seen! Also holiday and birthday celebrations and bbqs. [Name removed] (my friend) likes gardening so they figured out something that would work for him as he is in a wheelchair. They also take him for walks on nice days, out to eat, to a friends funeral when I was out of town. Can you believe that? If you know of someone that is ready for this excellent care, schedule a visit.

The best place for your loved one <3
My father was the very first patient in this facility. I can attest to the wonderful reviews. These people/staff are kind, thoughtful, compassionate, caring and simply put...love what they do. As much as I wish he could have passed away at home (my mom and I couldn't take care of him physically), this facility was the next best place. I never smelled smoke at the facility. People never stood anywhere near the building to smoke. They are so clean there. I've never seen a facility as clean as this one. This review is from a veteran registered nurse of 31 years.
By the way, you won't find another place as reasonable financially. It is all-inclusive. They don't nickel and dime for every little thing they do...like ALL the other facilities I investigated. Trust me on this!

Fantastic care!
Since moving my dad to Stratford House he has continued improving, though we did not expect this. The care is excellent and personal, meals are nutritious and home made, and everyone there truly cares about the seniors' welfare. I feel we have found a permanent home for dad. I would recommend Stratford House to anyone looking for a loving environment for their loved one. Thank you A Place For Mom!
