Ascension Living

Our loved one seems overall very satisfied with the meals and dining service, but sometimes she does get confused one what the food actually is that is being served. The residents have been on lock down a couple of times and the activities are limited so she hasn't really had the chance to take advantage of them. We have been very happy with the community and the value, we would absolutely recommend this community to others.

The staff members would be higher than 5 stars, they are super friendly. The meals and dining service is good but not great. The dining area where the food is served and the staff serving the food is exceeding all expectations, but the food quality itself is just not very excited. Our loved one does not allows participate in the activities, but from the activities they have on their calendar look great.

We toured with Ascension Living and it was great. We really liked the facility and what we saw, it was just not the right fit for our mother.

The friendliness of the staff members would be higher than 5 stars, the activities are nice they do a great job. I would recommend the Ascension Living to families and i have already done so.

This was the place we selected. The facility is very new, has good light, etc. The staff seemed very friendly and experienced and there many activities to help our family member stay engaged.

We have been pretty pleased with what we know that is happening over there. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The communication is decent with the staff; however, we believe the response time should be quicker.

The staff was very cordial to me, and they took good care of my loved one . That was my primary concern. They did really well during Covid. They had everything together. Everything they should be doing they were doing. My loved one is a picky eater and very vocal, so she would have let me know if she had a problem with the food. Activities were pretty limited during Covid. The residents would open their doors and talk with people across the hall, but there wasn't opportunity for much else. I found them to be a little expensive, but they took care of my loved one well. So it was worth it to me.

I couldn't go see our loved one, but it seems like they were well cared for. The independent living was well maintained, and the room was very nice. If care needs escalate, they have an add-on service on site to provide help for an additional fee. The Director of Sales works well with people. She makes a smooth entry process, is very friendly and professional. She explains things well and gives you a tour of the facility. She's a great resource for Casa Scalabrini Village.

The staff was amazing! The community was very clean and well furnished. They could use some improvement on food and menu. The menu didn't sound appetizing and it is somewhat limited. They are able to accommodate some dietary restrictions.

This is a wonderful place. My parents moved to Ascension Living Casa Scalabrini (INDEPENDENT LIVING side) Village in [date removed] and never looked back or even missed their home for one second. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and extremely professional. You can get most any amenities or services you need onsite or they will gladly bring in one of their many partner agencies. Unfortunately my father passed away at the golden age of 90 on [date removed] and I couldn't think of a better place for my mother to live, especially now without my father. Mom plays poker with her friends, goes on casino bus trips, and other various outings. The food is excellent and plentiful! They handled the COVID19 pandemic with such safety and grace always with the residents at the forefront of their words and actions. If you have a loved one (s) or you yourself are looking for a place to call home, look no further. They have exercise classes, bingo, jacuzzi, health club, physical therapy, occupational therapy, billiards, darts, cards, game room, outings, parties, picnics...reserve an appointment today and see for yourself! Not only are my parents, now my mother, happy, I have extreme peace of mind that she is well taken care of?! God bless??

I chose Ascension Living Alexian Village because of the location and it is a catholic oriented facility. The apartment size I have is adequate for my needs, I am satisfied with mine. I would certainly recommend this facility to others looking.

We like the way the nurses stations are set up in the center of the hallways, and the staff members are very friendly and very helpful. They bend over backwards to help you out with stuff. The rooms are very nice, kept up to date and modernized.

The care services at Via Christi are very good, and it is a very nice place. They five out newsletters to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. During special holidays they bring the residents little goody bags. We would definitely recommend this community.

It is amazing. During the COVID situation, they have been proactive. The community has only had three cases since March, and those cases have recovered. My loved one seems happy, and enjoys the food. The food is delivered to The community is a beautiful. They have a wonderful restaurant on premises. My loved one's apartment was renovated right before they moved in. The community cleans once a month for free for the residents. They do offer religious services for residents. The community offers services for you to choose from for a fee.

We have been living here since [date removed] and we are so much happier here than from where moved (Concord Place). The food is terrific as is the staff with whom have had contact.

Nice facility and priced fairly

Good food, loads of activities, transportation to all stores and banks. Lots of trips to places of amusement. Kitchens availible for your personal cooking. Top staff.

Nice people - great activities - great servers. Lots of things to do. Good food.

In August I'll be at Bethlehem Woods six years. I'm 94 years old. The staff are wonderful. All of them - the activity personnel, the waiters and waitresses in the dining area, the cleaning women, - I mean everyone is really concerned about us and our well being. The food is good- a wide variety and choice and always enough of it. Actually, I have no complaints.
