Bothell Park Manor

Overall, Bothell Park Manor has provided excellent care for my mom. She has dementia now, is non-weight bearing, and needs to be turned and changed every 2 hours. They give very good skin care, insuring she doesn't develop any pressure sores, as she's now bed bound. Meals are home cooked and she likes the food. When my mom was able, she enjoyed sitting at the dining room table with the other residents. The only activity provided is TV. But there's a wide variety of channels to choose from. Even with the expected increase in cost as my mom has become more dependent and labor intensive, the value for cost is still reasonable. I would highly recommend Bothell Park Manor to anyone seeking compassionate and affordable care for their loved ones.

We picked this community, because of the 1. Location. Closest to my home, as I visit my mom several times/week. 2. Care staff ratio to residents is excellent. 2-3 caregivers for 6 residents. Staff is compassionate and attentive. 3. Quiet, very clean, lots of natural lighting inside; attractive landscaping outside.4. Meals are prepared in the home's kitchen and served to residents in the dining room, which is great for socializing and conversation. 5. TV seems to be main source of entertainment, but I see many of the residents have family who visit regularly and take their family member out. I would highly recommend Bothell Park Manor. Overall, I am very pleased with the 1:1 care and attention my mom receives at Bothell Park Manor.

The care has been very good, and my brother is improving pretty quickly. At first he couldn't get in and out of bed on his own, and now he can. They just started physical therapy this week and are getting him up on a walker, which he hadn't been able to do before. The staff is very good to help him with that positive momentum. They have two caregivers for five people., so the care is very one-on-one. Sometimes the food is overcooked, but most of the time it's wonderful. The facility itself is nice and very pleasant. Each person has their own room and can decorate it however they want. It's very homey and open - the house is pretty big, which is nice. And there's a covered back porch to enjoy time outside.
