Bristol Manor

We picked this community because, ofthe location, it was centrally located close to several family members. It looked very clean, and did not have the nasty urine smell nor the look of a nursing home. The cost also helped. It's not bad, and the price was pretty dang good. The food was just kind of comfort food cans TV dinner type stuff. But you can't expect much more than that in an institution type setting.

My mother is in the Independent Living section of Harbors. Her room is very comfortably laid out and has a private bathroom. There are numerous activities offered to the residents. And the residents appear to be happy. There is nice outdoor space for the residents to enjoy in warmer weather. The dining/activity area is very spacious and clean. I have met many of the staff as well as the owner. They are all very friendly and encouraging. I personally know family members of residents who are in Assisted Living, and they are very happy to have their parent living at Harbors. I would recommend Harbors to other families looking for good care.

I am very, very pleased with it. There are 6 ladies at this place. The help is wonderful. The food is good. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. It has been a wonderful place for my mother. I really don't know how they could improved it. It's a beautiful and clean facility. They don't have that many activities. It has been a wonderful experience for my mother. The other 5 ladies seem very happy as well.

My mom has been at KraNur Manor for two weeks, and she adjusted immediately to the environment. It is real homey with a family feel. The staff is helpful and friendly. Family members are welcome anytime. The ladies (6) interact with each other in a positive way. In two weeks my mom has gotten stronger , and she seems to be happier. I am so thankful to "A Place for Mom" for recommending KraNur Manor. I knew it would be the right place as soon as I toured it.

My dad loves living here. The staff has been wonderful, anything you ask them to do they are more than willing to do. My sister and I went to eat with him and the food was amazing. I do think they should do activities with the residents. I would absolutely recommend Harbor to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and we aren't sure if there was miscommunication or what but the lady who was supposed to give the tour was not there. The layout and set up of the facility was a little odd, and its definitely more like a group home setting. However everything was clean and there were now fowl smells.

2nd one visited. Very nice location...close to me but not as nice as Hamilton's, especially the community bathroom situation.

Outdated but clean. Attentive staff. But not the place for my more active mom. Current residents are Low level ladies.
