Very nice community feel. Residents were quite friendly. Staff were present. Apts were well designed. Director was informative and friendly. Amenities are many and the monthly activities clearly posted. Thus far, this is my favorite and would like. Residents were happy and the atmosphere was positive.

Fellowship Square is an older facility, but when it comes to the cleanliness that is very well kept and well managed. Our loved one can be quite negative with everything, but we do think the meals and dining service is good. They do have a personal care options, unfortunately that just did not work out for our loved one. They also have a bus service 5 days a week where they take the residents to a from grocery stores and doctor appointments.

The great thing is their mission is really to help people stay independent. They help folks on a fixed income. The food is good. The room sizes are of a good size. My mom has a one-bedroom unit with a balcony. The staff is helpful and nice. They have done a good job keeping everyone safe during Covid-19.

While looking at other options for my loved one, I found that this location is a better fit. Everything has been going good so far. It was a difficult adjustment for him, but I believe that would be the case for anyone. The staff team here is very nice, attentive, they touch base with you, they follow through wither everything, and very supportive. I liked how this is a Christian community and they do a lot for the veterans. I most definitely recommend this location to others.

We toured about seven different communities but my mom liked this one the best. The rooms are a little bigger than others we had seen. The location is perfect it is close to everything. Mom is really enjoying herself here. There are lots to do with the activities they offer. She said the food is really good. The community is very clean and well decorated in fact I had mentioned to mom that I would love to live here. We would definitely recommend this community to anyone.

This community was at the high end of my uncles budget. It is a larger community and he does not like a lot of people. The unit they had available was not in a good location for him. The staff that helped us on our tour were nice. Someone I know moved in and likes this community.

From start to finish, getting our dad placed at Fellowship Square was a great experience. We found it through A Place for Mom based on a recommendation from my coworker. That was the first smart decision - using APFM really helped me narrow down the choices and kept me from feeling overwhelmed. Once I had about 5 different placement options, the Fellowship Square facility stood out above the rest because of a few key reasons - value, availability, transition options and their overall core mission. The value compared to other programs was better than most - they allow for transitioning from Independent Living to Assisted Living and they accept programs like ALTCS - not all facilities do and it takes a bit of research to figure that out. The cafeteria food was good, they have a physical therapy room and beauty shop on site, and the grounds are well kept. Mary helped me through the process of getting placed and signing a lease, and she was an absolute joy to work with. I would recommend Fellowship Square and am glad that we found a good place for our dad.

Overall Fellowship is very good, the cleanliness is fine for an old property which is had to determine. Most paid staff is very helpful. The meals we offered suggestion's last year and they provided more healthy options. There are not activities at night, unless you play bingo or weekends since the staff is off duty. The management people [name removed] is the most caring and helpful. [name removed] is also great. The rehab has issues.

I think they need to give their housekeeping staff more time per apartment to do the cleaning. The gals do the best they can with the allotted time but think they'd like to do more through Deep cleaning if they weren't so rushed. Staff is friendly but they are short staffed in some areas which sometimes shows as frustration on their part, but I understand. The care services started as a 3 but I would move up to a 4 now. The safety portion, morning check in button did not work the 1st few months and staff did not check on Mom to verify she was ok. Residents are to check in each day by a set time, if they don't staff should be contacting them to verify there isn't a problem... that wasn't happening. That has since been fixed and they are now following thru. The emergency alert worked last week when we needed it, and security arrived in a timely manner and contacted 911. Most meals I've had are really good with a nice amount of choices. I've heard some Residents complain but don't believe they are all valid. Nice enough list of things to do, if the Resident is willing to participate. Most activities seem resident lead, not provided by the staff. I know some Residents struggling with the rising cost, apparently every lease renewal has a cost increase. They are one of the lowest cost facilities though. One thing I don't like or agree with is the outlandish price they charge to have staff help with simple tasks around the apartment. Not all Residents are capable to do some tasks like hang pictures, move heavy items and such... nor do they have family local to assist them. To have staff/maintenance assist is something like [fee removed] minimum. I think it should be included. Also maintenance is slow to respond to even emergency calls. Moms apartment had a very large leak coming from the ceiling, with the possibility of doing damage to flooring and they didn't not respond for 3 or 4 days. We would have been charged for the damage that their slow response caused but I was able to assist in keeping damage from occurring. I've heard that some maintenance requests have never even been addressed. Mom is happy living there and plans to stay until health no longer allows the independence she can maintain at this time.

So far I have had a good experience. My mom is very private and it takes her a while to feel ok opening up. Maybe a little more follow up or greeting opportunities so she could meet more people. She had a few negative interactions with the first few people she came into contact with in the dining room. Tenants not employees so its taking her a while to venture out. She is beginning to be more independent so I am encouraged things will continue to improve. She seems to enjoy it there. I am happy with what the facility offers to encouraged independence.
