My mother had been bouncing around from difference facilities due to her memory and behavioral issues. She suffers from alcoholism and everything that comes with that. Arden courts was willing and able to take her in and work with her physically and mentally. The community focuses on cognitive/memory issues so while she was way too much for other facilities, to them it was status quo.

We would give the categories all a 5. We have been very happy with our choice on where my mother in law is in Lely Palms. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Mom’s home is a true oasis. The sprawling one-third acre of green space is a peaceful retreat. I'm continually amazed by the incredible sense of community and kindness here. Everyone is so welcoming, and Mom’s radiant smile is contagious. I am eternally grateful to A Place for Mom for guiding me through the process of finding the perfect memory care facility. Your support was invaluable as I visited various options in the area.

The staff are friendly and know all the names of the people there. Hourly, they go through and locate every person in their hall. My mom is doing well there. They have lots of walking area, inside and out. There is only one person per room. Twin bed, night stand, dresser, and chair. Each room has an a/c, bathroom, and closet.

Arden Courts has a great team and it really shows. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

"This is the place for your loved one!" The caregivers and staff are professional, compassionate, friendly, like family. The treatment of the residents is the BEST! The environment is clean and well maintained. The individual apartments can be decorated to your liking. Activities happen daily and "field trips" are a common occurrence. Lenawee County families are blessed to have such a fine assisted living home available to them.

The Arden Courts experience has been very good for our family. The team of aides and nurses do a good job of coordinating and communicating care. The facility is also clean and welcoming. We are grateful to have found this place for our parent.

The loved the live entertainment they had there. We loved walking outside in the garden area. Talking to other families going through the same thing.

My husband died in February and I don't have a recent opinion on these. I will say that they were great at trying to figure out difficult Alzheimer's behaviors. They had an excellent relationship with hospice and they gave him so much dignity for his end of life. If I had to do it over, I would pick them again.

Clean well kept environment. The staff is always friendly and seems to be engaged with the residents! The staff knows how difficult this is for families and they help and listen to questions and concerns! It really puts our minds at ease. Thank you

The head administrator, [name removed], has been there over 20 years. [name removed]r was a great help in getting Dad placed, and making him feel like Arden was his new home from the day he arrived. The nursing staff was awesome--caring and thorough. The staff were all great--my dad both trusted and liked them. And [name removed], the activities director, planned things for residents and families in addition to activities to keep residents involved. We could not have chosen a better facility for our dad!

I brought my wife here 6 months ago and have had plenty of time to evaluate Arden Courts . Care is round the clock excellent. No matter when l come I'm greeted by caregivers and nurses that know my name and can always quickly give me updates on my wife's condition. They are daily providing various crafts , videos and activities to stimulate my wife's mind. Facilities are always clean and free from the smells one associates with senior care . All things considered I'm going with 5 out of 5 star rating.

They have been exceptional from start through now, almost two years later. They're not cheap but then, who is. They were great in accommodating her during the transition.

I've been reading the many positive reviews for Arden Courts here, and we totally agree. Our experience has been wonderful. They are experts in helping people with dementia. What a blessing for my mom. Her quality of life has improved dramatically. Our story is similar to many here... My mom's dementia took a serious turn for the worse a few months ago — she started wandering on her block not sure where she was, was getting easily angered and upset with all of us, wasn't able to take care of her physical needs... We tried for a really long time to have her stay at home, as she wanted, but it just wasn't possible anymore. We had to move quickly to find a place for her. I showed up at Arden Courts late on a Friday, worried, frazzled, not sure how I was going to help my mom... and [name removed] and [name removed] were so caring and helpfu

My husband has Altzheimers and had been cared for at home for about 6 years. At one point his caregiver went on vacation and I brought him to Arden Court for respite care. I was very impressed with the warmth and care of the experienced staff and the fact that there was much more stimulation than he had at home. Residents had a daily routine which took them out of their rooms from the time they dressed for the day until they prepared to go to sleep. They dined in a small dining room in their wing (one of four wings/houses) and visited with guests in their living room or in one of the lovely areas around the facility. They went to activities as a large group and even spent some time outside on the beautiful grounds, weather permitting. The wonderful and experienced staff helped whenever they were in need of assistance. When my husband's disease progressed and he was no longer able to speak or walk or be cared for at home, I looked at other facilities and then recontacted Arden Co

I cannot even begin to thank [name removed] enough for all of the help she has given me to help my brother get into Arden Courts, West Orange!! From the moment I explained to her my brother's situation, [name removed] was on it. She saw me through every obstacle, which with her help was no longer an obstacle. I just loved everything about the facility, that I had seen on my tour and absolutely knew this would be the right place for my brother. The facility is immaculate and the employees friendly and helpful. [name removed] went out of her way to help, and from the moment that I spoke with her and walked into the office, I was at ease. If I were to rate my overall experience, I couldn't give less than a 10+!! A great big THANK YOU to [name removed] and the WO staff.

My experience with Arden Courts in West Orange has been excellent. The staff is not only professional but is a true team that really works together for their residents. Having had experience with several facilities Arden Courts takes a back seat to no one. Would highly recommend without reservation.
