Great staff, friendly atmosphere, clean facility and helpful when my mother needs help or has questions. Overall, fantastic environment for my mother.

We can’t say enough about Riverside. The staff is just fantastic! The facility is bright and clean and warm and inviting. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pricing is very fair for the industry and well worth it for the loving care that is given. I have nothing but good things to say about Dad’s stay at Riverside. It’s so challenging finding a place for aging parents who need more care but Riverside staff always put us at ease and we knew Dad was in great hands. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] and all the nurses whose names I’m forgetting are just some of the great staff that have helped us during Dad’s stay. And we felt they went out of their way help us how ever they could. Even [name removed], with housekeeping and the maintenance fellas are extra kind and helpful. If you are looking for assisted living or memory care in the area we highly recommend Riverside.

I would definitely recommend the facility, every person on the staff is extremely kind and helpful. My mother-in-law has no complaints from the cleaning crew, which is weekly. I feel that every one of my mother-in-law's needs are being being met.

Very good place to recover and all staff members were great. We picked this community, because it was close to home, heard good things about this community and it worked for me and my family.

They worked with my sometimes very difficult loved one, and improved their overall health greatly. We picked this community because, another family member received care here. They have activities such as; movies ,cards and outings.

This has been a positive experience for my loved one and family. The staff have been friendly and supportive. The staff communication with the family has been good. There are three meals a day served to the residents and they have choices to choose from.

We like the room our parents are in, it is a good sized room and we like the fact that they have hourly care which they have done a good job with. We appreciate that they encourage them to eat in the dining room and participate in the activities. The staff members are so very kind to our parents. We do think the meals could be a little better, it seems like the lunch meals are better then the evening meals.

We chose Riverside because I liked the layout and I liked everything that they had to offer. It is also in a great location and they were very inviting. The apartment sizes are wonderful, she has a 2 bedroom 2 bath and she has a patio. They have a big gazebo outside where they can go sit and have sitting areas out back and in front as well. They are starting to open things up and they have a lot of great activities. They treat here like family here, the people here are amazing. They have been more than accommodating and great with communication. I would highly recommend to others looking.

It has been the best decision that our family has made. He has loved every minute of his time spent here. They are taking great care of my dad and we have recently been able to go down and visit. The meals here are chef prepared, they have 4-5 meals you can choose from that are standard and they have different things rotating throughout the week. They also have a wood fired pizza oven ,everything is very fresh and there is a great variety. It is a smaller facility so the staff to resident ratio is significantly higher and the facility is absolute a gem.

The community has a lot of activities. My mom is happy about the community, and talks a lot. She watches movies and reads magazines. My mom started eating again, after moving into the community. There is even a hair dresser on site two days a week for the residents.

This is an exceptional place for your loved ones. The employees are truly dedicated to their work and are willing to go above and beyond to make a positive difference in the lives of their residents, friends, and families.

Thoughtful, compassionate leadership team; loving, dedicated staff. I am blessed to call this place 'home'.

This is a great community, and my mother is doing very well with her move here. They have an excellent staff at this community, and they are caring for her very well. I know she is being provided with good care. Her room, and the community are well maintained when I come to visit. Everything is working out very well for us at this community, and I would recommend it.

We are very satisfied with the care that Riverside Assisted Living & Memory Care Kankakee, IL are providing for mom. The staff have been very helpful and caring with mom's move. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. Mom raves about the food offered and really loves it.

The staff have been very useful and answer all my questions. They have maintained grounds and a small garden area that my sister enjoys. They offer a variety of activities such as exercise classes, cooking shows and a weekly country drive. The food is good and well prepared. They offer a good variety of food.

My Father in law Tony Issert moved into Riverside assisted living and Memory Care in Bourbonnais last November. The atmosphere and care are second to none. Every singe person there showed such compassion it was unbelievable. Tony passed last week. At least 8 employes came to his wake. Marcia the Social worker really cared and and talked to Tony every day. All the girls that did activities are special people. It's hard work trying to get 10-12 Alzheimer's patients to play bingo. Misty that works in the unit serving food and making sure they ate was incredible. She cried with my wife when Tony was failing. The food there is outstanding. Resturant quality I would say. My whole family is very happy with the care Tony received. Thanks so much to all . We will never forget.

I looked into this community while searching for options for a loved one. It's a brand new place, and although I did not get a chance to visit, I was very impressed by all of the good things I heard and read about them when I looked into them!

The staff is very caring and friendly and nothing needs improvement, everything is very good.

We were very, very happy with Riverside. I have no complaints. My mother liked it there, and they took very good care of her. I having nothing negative to say.

We chose Riverside Asssited Living because of the convenient location for us and also we had known people who had their parents here as well. The room sizes are pretty nice size, she has a private room. Overall I would recommend to others who are looking.
