My Mom & I recently toured this lovely establishment. [name removed], the current manager, was very courteous & friendly. It is an independant living community, which provides entertainment, physical activities & short trips to their residents. The building has been recently renovated, giving it a lively & youngish feel to it. We were treated to both a delicious breakfast & lunch. The rooms were airy & bright. The visit was very enjoyable & when mom decides, I'm sure she will pick Holiday Villa East.

When I toured this place the staff was nice and answered all my questions. It looked clean and kept up. The parking sucked here. I did get a warm feeling there. I observed a caregiver singing to the resident which was nice. The price just wasn't right for us and we had to go elsewhere.

Perhaps a little understaffed, as respond times when requested can be a little long for an elderly person. Price was amazing, so if more staff was hired, price would certainly go up. Mom is very happy there and so are we.

When I toured I liked all of the people there and the price was right. My mother seems to be doing okay, it was definitely a difficult transition for her, going from independent living to assisted living. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly, we have no complaints so far.

Dad was only at this community for about a week. The staff were professional, caring and accommodating. The food was good and the community was clean. We did not need to look any further once we toured this community. We were very pleased with this community. I would recommend this community. I also wanted to thank A Place for Mom for their assistance in finding this community.

The Meridian of Riverside is a very clean and well-maintained community. If it was closer to my home, I wouldn't hesitate to chose this community. The staff and tour guide were very friendly and knowledgeable.

I like how the staff are attentive, helpful and concerned with my mom. The community is very clean and kept up. The food is good but the scheduling is a bit odd, breakfast is normal portion but lunch is huge and dinner is light. My mom enjoys activities like gardening, playing shuffle board, and golf. There is change and management and I have notice a bit of difference. It's been good here and I would recommend this community.

My parents have been very happy with Garden of Palms so far. The staff is really friendly and supportive. They are booked so don't try to get anyone in there too soon. They are a smaller facility so the people get to know each other a little better. The staff is very responsive. There is always room for improvement in the service industry. But I looked at some other places and this was far above any of them. The decor and ambiance of this facility is just really nice.

Everything has been going well. It seems like they are resident oriented. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. We have had a positive experience so far. Everything seems to be going smoothly.

This place turned out to be a great place for Mom. It is clean, and safe environment. The staff is caring and very accommodating. Although my mom feels she is "too young" for this place, she is willing to give it a try. Our family feels it is a wonderful place should she need additional care, they will help with that. Right now she is very independent. The food is ok but they do give a variety.

Staff and facility owners worked with us to find a placement solution for family member that has worked out great. Everyone working here seems invested in making the facility friendly. They seem connected to the residents.

Holiday Villa East provides good care to my loved one. Staff is friendly, they are very attentive, accommodating, and responsive. Management is wonderful.I viewed several places, and this one is the best place by far. I am satisfied with the services overall.

My mother previously lived at a large, expensive assisted living facility. Garden of Palms is a small community. The staff are nice and helpful. The chef makes delicious soups, which are served at lunch and dinner. The meals are small and are generally better than the meals at the expensive facility. There are a variety of activities My mother did not participate in anything at the other (fancy, expensive) place. Here, she participates more. The smaller environment is better for my mother. There is a lovely courtyard with a fountain, a small library area, and a movie room. The director, Murielle, is very caring and helpful. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is very pleasant and they always have beautiful fresh flowers. The rate is very fair and they do not try to stick you with additional costs, which is very nice.

I put my dad there after much searching and I was so pleased. He was very happy there (he has since passed) but they took very good care of him. I didn't worry. Room was clean, food was good. Staff was wonderful and caring! He emjoyed getting out to go shopping and the activities there. His room was big with a big easy to use bathroom. There wasn't one thing I was unhappy with. I wish I had done it sooner. He was happier there than he was alone most of the time in his little apartment. I came a rather long distance too and they were all so wonderful in helping him get settled.

Villa de Anza seems like a very nice place. I leased an apartment for my father who has not yet moved in. Staff was very helpful, pleasant and accommodating when I went to visit and signed the lease. My one complaint is that I was shown a model apartment and told that was the apartment I would be leasing. I did not record the apartment number. I signed the lease for apartment 237 and when I returned with the furniture, discovered that 237 was not the apartment I had been shown. It was not as nice and was also not ready for move-in as it had not been cleaned. The receptionist, Linda, contacted the salesperson, Stacie, and the manager, Christina, and we were able to switch to the apartment I had originally seen.

I was only there such a short time. I didn't really use a lot of their services because I was only there a couple of weeks. The only thing that bothered most of us is there were a lot of flies in the dining area. I don't think there was anything the could do about it, there were just a lot in the area. The food was quite good. I had the flu part of the time I was there so I was not very active.

The people that were there, the residents, they all seemed to be pretty happy. You didn't see a lot of mopey people sitting around and my father had just lost his significant other of 25 years so we were pretty worried about that happening with him. We didn't want him to be in an environment where people were sad. The workers, they always seemed to be really up. I visited it several times and the food was good. We tried out the food. It was pretty clean - one of the cleanest ones I'd ever seen. Stacie, their salesperson I guess, was just a gem.

We looked at a lot of properties and I think what my parents are getting for the cost is good here. The care services are okay. I know in the beginning they struggled a little bit. My mom had some kind of drops for her eyes and she wasn't getting them. I think they've resolved them all. They had my mom participate in the miss emeritus pageant and she came in second. That was nice. There were some mix ups taking them to church but that wasn't really their fault - the bus had issues. My parents were reluctant to move but they like it here. There is a nice lake with a fountain and ducks and a nice patio out back. It's not congested, it's easy to get to, parking is adequate and it's little things like that, that to me make a big difference.
