The Cottages at Artesia, LLC

A 5 for all. There was a couple looking at The Cottages for their mother, we told them they were great. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would and already have recommended this community to other families

I am very happy with the care my mom is receiving. We picked this community because of the value, and one price for all care. They do not break up costs and charges like many other facilities did. Others charged like an a la cart menu depending on continence, how many med passes etc.

The staff is very friendly. The food is good, and my friend has an appetite. The value for the money is too high. It's close to home, and I visit my friend daily.

The staff was warm, diligent and respectful with the residents, meeting individual needs. The facility was cleaned and sanitized daily. The only downside to the experience was lack of stimulation for my husband (who is now home), but that is only because of the lack of residents ability to participate. However, with the care given my husband by the staff, and frankly, the family taking him on frequent outings, he improved significantly enough to bring home, where he is doing great! His only real issue is memory with inability to communicate well. If big if he needs to be placed again in future, my first call will be The Cottages of Artesia Anaheim. (PS.I cannot speak to Cottages in Buena Park.)

Our loved one has her own private room for a set fee which was huge. The staff really listen to all of our requests which did not happen at our loved ones previous community. We don't have first hand experience with the meals and dining service but they do follow the diet we have our loved one on so we appreciate that. From what we understand our loved one is out and about more then what she was, she is engaging and talking to anybody she can.

The staff and management at The Cottages cared for my dad like family and showed my mother support and kindness each time she came to visit him. They always kept me informed of his condition and were generous with time and information any time I called or came to visit. The food was nutritious, the facility was clean, my father's hygiene was attended to properly, and all team members acted with skill and compassion.

Very happy with the people there and the care that our loved one is getting. Take good care of her and she is always washed and cleaned. She is reading there all day and the caretakers take good care of her.

We chose The Cottages because it was recommended to us. The price was also good for the value we were getting. Int he end it turned out to be an excellent place. The staff are great at what they do and are amazing with the residents. They really seem devoted and are comforting and caring, they spend a lot of quality time with them. I would absolutely recommend.

I have nothing but high scores for them. I would give them 20 out of 5 if I could. They are just so professional, and it was a blessing, all of it was just a blessing. They have very personalized service. It's larger than where she was before, but that place didn't know who she was. Here they know who she is, and what she did today, to the detail. They have great communication, They had an earthquake there and they noticed that I hadn't called, because I hadn't known about it, and they made it a point to call me.

Yes I would recommend. Clean, friendly, professional staff. Outstanding personal patient care.Nutritious food but not enough variety. That could be due to majority of residents of a particular ethnic group or because of dietary needs.In terms of care, my husband got so much care that I felt he was declining and since home his physical strength has improved 100%.With that said, if I needed to place him in memory care again I would not hesitate to place him with the Cottages.

It depends on the person. It is a bigger community and and there was a lot of hustle and bustle. For my mom, it was too much for. The quality of the care was good. The food was fine. I would recommend this community for the right person. We chose this community because after we toured a bunch of communities, this was overall. the best price, location, and everything else offered was fine at the time.

This community is just remodeled and it is nice and clean. The staff is phenomenal they are what makes it so great. The outside is nice and they can go out and roam around it is secured. The food is adequate and nutritious they offer snacks in between meals. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

They were the only community who would take my father-in-law because of his needs. The staff have been providing the right level of care and they are mainly helping him walk again. I have not seen improvement but they are taking it easy on him. We had a Christmas dinner with him and it was a good meal. He is doing good in his new home here.
