My mother is the one living there and she seems happier than she has been in other places. She likes the people and staff. She participates in a few activities and likes the lunches. Her room is small, but comfortable to her.

It gave a great blend of independent living while providing meals, light cleaning, and some transportation. It was just what my brother needed after his medical incident that left him in a wheelchair.

They violate HIPAA laws and embarrass the residents in front of other residents. The staff violates HIPAA laws and treats the residents with disrespect.

Meals were good, but lately are poor - serving a lot of filler (pastas and starches) and run out of protein meals periodically. [name removed] worked very hard to accommodate [name removed] with his income. That was really appreciated. Staff seems good, but there seems to be a big turn over. The residents I have talked with like staff that stay awhile. It helps them acclimate better. Overall, I have recommended the Chateau to over a dozen people so far. I'm impressed.

The facility is acceptable. There are things I like and things I do not like. But I must say the staff are trying hard to provide a good, safe, pleasant environment. I am new to independent living facilities so I have no real comparisons to provide a comprehensive review. I realize I am trying to adapt to an environment I am not really ready to accept. I still work, which is an nominally compared to most residents. I am mostly physically and mentally proactive so I look to outside factors for many things and do not rely on most of the services that are offered. The suite I live in is nice and comfortable. The food quality is my biggest disappointment. Overall all I will rate it OK.

This is an "independent living facility". Far too many residents have slipped through the screening and shouldn't be here; they should be in assisted living care. Staffing is a big problem, meals are not up to dietary standards: boring and repetitive menu. Bright spot is our Activities Director who has been a great addition with positive attitude and enthusiasm for us. New Management this past year has not resulted in improvements. Pricing is low for the area, but is still high for the overall cost/ benefits. I've been here 1year this week and making plans to relocate within next 3 months. Chateau is just an elderly apartment building; one small elevator for 3 floors and approximately 80 residents. If 3 people are inside with their rolling walkers or 2 people with electric mobility units, persons above that # will need to wait for elevator to return. The majority of residents (75-80%) use mobility aides from canes to "scooters" driven far too fast..."Look Out!"

10. Chateau De Boise is in a good location, it is clean and they have helpful staff. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My sister is pretty happy in Chateau de Boise. The facility is friendly, comfortable and affordable. Meals and some transportation are provided. Her one wish is just that they would run the shuttle for appointments & shopping 5 days a week

The staff is very friendly. They know all the residents and notice if they have not been active in a day or two, they will check on them. Apartments vary in size and price. She has a large1 bedroom. Lots of closet/storage space.

They have changed owners twice since my parents have been there and neither new company has felt like a good change. Housekeeping is a big issue in two months, they got housekeeping 1 instead of every week.. Since the last change in owners, the staff seem stressed and it feels they are taking it out on the residents. My loved ones no longer trust the staff.

I am no longer living here. The place is a complete mess. The managers are flying by the seat of their pants with no experience. They really need to hire more experienced people. Also need a bigger food allowance. I will never move into another facility.

My parents enjoy socializing with other residents. Residents are displaced for extended periods of time when repairs need to be done. My parents' apartment flooded two weeks after moving in & couldn't move back into their apartment for another 3 months. Food is pretty bad. They are often out of items on the menu. Not much is planned for the residents here. Always understaffed which is the typical excuse when something doesn't get done. Residents don't receive regular services they pay for monthly such as housekeeping

Been here a little over a month and not yet settled in but managing day-to-day.I’m not a big joiner with games, cards, etc. Prefer quiet and solitary time, away from loud voices and noises. Tend to find like-minded folks to share mealtimes.

I'm going to be honest. The staff is nice, but understaffed. There are very few activities. The food is okay, but the chicken and pork are usually too tough to chew. The weekly housekeeping that was promised doesn't exist. I would only recommend this place for someone that lives independently 100% and still drives. As of now, I will probably move my loved one next spring when her current lease expires.

My loved one is currently a resident at Holiday Chateau De Boise and everything is going well for her at this facility so far. My loved one is settling in well and is very happy there. I would recommend Holiday Chateau De Boise to others.

We chose this facility because of the location to things in the community. -this facility has easy access to shopping, banking and freeways. This facility lets residents decide where to sit at meals and activities. Residents here have been very inclusive and welcoming to others. Made a huge difference on Mom getting comfortable with the move. I would recommend them.

If a friend asked me, I would say the cottage life is great. I do not have experience with the other building. The food is not as good as I thought it would be, the grounds keepers do not make the place look beautiful as it could be. We have a car port that is a plus.They offered us a 2 bedroom cottage, once a week cleaning service, 3 meals a day, occasional trips for doctor appointments and shopping > by bus, less money then salmon creek and we didn't have the multitude of assisted living then we had at S C.
