Had to keep after management to maintain cleanliness.
Activity schedule was posted but rarely executed. Not a problem for my mom since someone from our family was there every day to entertain her.

Nice place, nice people, just not much involvement. If there is they don't let family know how patient is doing.
People are friendly and nice to patients and families that come in to see the patient. Dinners are great. I just wished workers did more with the patients. More activities. Fun stuff and movement things to do. If Evergreen Place does have activities they should share more with family members to let them know what going on.

Nice facility but needs more staff
The facility is well kept and residents rooms are clean and spacious. It's just understaffed as all facilities in the area. The staff that shows up are very helpful.
They are short staffed most weekends and holidays. They need more "reliable" care.

Beautiful Community in Brockport!
I visited Evergreen Place for a tour and had a wonderful experience. The outside is very well kept and when I walked in I immediately felt welcomed. It looks as though everything from the floors to the paint have been updated. Residents appear to be happy, clean, and cared for. I loved watching staff interact with residents. They have such a warm and familial way of caring for them, and you could tell that there is genuine compassion for them. Although I am just researching options for down the line, I am comforted to know that when the time comes, Evergreen Place will be my choice.

A great facility

I have been volunteering at Evergreen for 7 months. All of the employees are super friendly. I help with th Happy Hour event on Thursdays. One of the residents plays the keyboard for all of us. Residents and employees both enjoy the event. The facility is clean and the meals look delicious. I really have fun at this residence.

Overall we are mostly pleased with my mother’s care. The staff works hard and are very caring on the whole. They should be paid more; especially since the cost to live there went up quite a bit recently. Also, it would be nice if the memory care residents were included in more activities.

Mom’s happy place service, living, food
Our mom is very happy at Evergreen Place in Brockport! She feels her room is very cozy, and the housekeeping staff very accommodating to any needs she has. The food is delicious and she especially likes their chicken, turkey and pasta dishes. Her interaction with most of the CNA‘s is positive and uplifting. She has two aids that she feels love her like a mom. When you walk in you are greeted warmly and they always feel welcome. Emails are answered promptly by the Director [name removed]Mom loves the music activities, and the sense of belonging to a community. Overall, it has been a positive experience with a few bumps in the road but they have been minimal. We are happy.
