I like the staff. The food is very good. Atmosphere and staff interaction with residents is great. Need more attention to daily housekeeping. Laundry and changing bed linens needs to be timely.

The community provides personalized assisted living, memory care, respite care, and rehabilitation services. The memory care program is Five Star’s Bridge to Rediscovery Alzheimer’s and dementia care, which offers individualized care that focuses on seniors' remaining skills and works to add new ones. Was not please with this facility. The staff were pleasant but our family could see a quick decline in Mother and it just didn't fit her personality based on her health. No offense but I would not recommend this Assistant Living facility to anyone.

Our choices were limited because of my dad's situation. Looking back at it, it was a good experience. The staff/techs were great to my dad. The medical staff embedded were great & caring. Most of any negatives were really just my dad's attitude & not really attributable to MSR.

When talk with them about a concern, will get better for a short time & then go back until I raise my concern again. Example - have had to remind them about laundry, shaving, cutting fingernails. He is mobile & able to bathe and dress himself , but need reminders with putting dirty clothes in laundry basket, etc. They need more activities that men are interested in.

I have nothing but good things to say about Morningside of Raleigh. The staff from the front desk, business manager, cleaning staff to the nurses and care techs are all friendly and caring. The staff knows all the residents by name. The rooms are spacious and kept clean, there is even a bird feeder outside my husband’s window. The food is tasty and filling.snacks and hydration stations are in multiple areas of the community. There are a lot of activities and outing the residents can join in on. Overall we have had a very positive experience.

Needless to say we are not very happy right now. Quality of care and keeping room clean was good at first. But it has steadily gone downhill to the point we are looking at other options.

As our mother’s need for memory care grew we have been so pleased that we found Morningside. The care has been outstanding. The staff are professional and at the same time patient and loving. Mom is happy here and safe and well attended. The attention and socialization is so much better than if we had chosen in home care. Thank you to all the outstanding staff

I like the smaller size of the place. Staff is always helpful and friendly I think what works for one person does not necessarily work for another but for someone with taste like my mom, I would recommend Morningside of Raleigh.

My brother has been in Morningside Memory Care for about 2 months. I found them thru A Place for Mom, which I had a wonderful experience with. My brother is 83 years old & has lived by himself for many years. It took him a little while to settle in, but seems to feel more “at home” now. I visit 2 - 3 times a week & staff is always friendly & seems to be vey caring. He is able to function some on his own, but needs help and/or reminders at times. I have had met with Director a couple of times to share some concerns I had but they have always showed appreciation to me for bringing it to their attention. They have a new director that has fresh ideals for activities, especially for the men, since most of the indoor activities are geared more for the women than for the men. I have been over all satisfied with Morningside, but would visit often to make sure your loved one is being well taken of, no matter where they may go.

Areas they could improve on would be - more attention to bathing, dressing and brushing of the teeth. However, we would recommend this community to other families for levels 5, 6 and 7.

both my grandfather and my dad have lived here and we’ve had an amazing experience. The staff genuinely cares and do a good job of taking care of their residence. My dad enjoys the socialization aspects as well as the food and dining together with other residents. Highly highly recommend.

The new flowers and resident gardens are very beautiful. I really loved watching the residents care for the plants. The community was clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I recommend this community to everyone

We love Morningside of Raleigh! My Mother has been at Morning side for almost a year. I moved her here from another assisted living organization. Night and day difference! The management team is responsive. They aware of what is going on and really work as a team to address any issues. The care team really cares!

She was loved and cared for wonderfully by the folks at Morningside and through The Transitions Hospice program during her end of life journey. Angels on earth...all of them! They were amazing from the time mom arrived as a resident until her passing.

Morningside is a bright and friendly place. My parents are still having some issues adjusting but the staff really seem to care. There have been some small hiccups along the way but all problems have been resolved immediately.

I feel very comfortable with the facility and staff. I tend to be quite nervous in many situations, but the staff seems to be understanding of that and makes an effort to put me at ease. Also, the facility has a relaxing atmosphere. [Name removed] was great and made the paperwork as painless as possible. I am a 'family' of one (no siblings or spouse/children) and he understood how that could make me feel nervous and worked with me keeping it in consideration. Since my mom can still pick up when I am ill at ease and reacts badly to it, this is important and she seems to be more comfortable than at the previous facility. The move-in was a bit bumpy, which is usually the case, but the last week of holidays complicated pre- move in procedures. But everything worked out. Small families may need to get lifting assistance for the physical part from friends, etc. I got a transport service for Mom's trip since she is in a wheelchair. She gets excited about riding, but it can be quite difficult to transport her. Mom really enjoys the food and everything I have tasted has been first-rate. The rooms have individual temperature control and a full private shower and bath, amenities that were missing at the previous facility. The temperature is important because Mom has always been cold-natured and now it is even more of a concern. So she can always go to her room to warm up, if need be. I would definitely recommend Morningside to families seeking memory care for their loved one(s). The layout of the building is secure for memory care but also visitor - friendly since it is on a different floor and the only way in is the elevator. This means you don't have to wait outside to be let in like most places, but it is secure. And I am looking forward to the Valentine's Day party for residents and families!

I have an on going battle with the lady who does book keeping. What they invoice is incorrect and frustrating. It's gotten to the point that I've looked at other places to move mom. I will say that The nursing staff seem to be very friendly. Mom really likes her room.
