With Heartfelt Gratitude!
I was very appreciative of the sincere efforts [name removed] and Silver Creek Inn made to assist in facilitating emergency memory care for my wife [name removed]. During this time of transition, the staff at Silver Creek went above and beyond to arrange excellent care, providing temporary respite until I could review long term care options for my wife.
The facility offered a secure and safe haven for [name removed] during this transitional period of time. Enough can't be said about the sensational help of [name removed] and others on the staff who addressed my questions and concerns about [name removed] getting used to her new environment. I feel that [name removed] was able to adapt quickly to her new setting partly because she had room to wander safely, get fresh air and make new friends.
They say it's not what people say to you, it's how they make you feel. The staff at Silver Creek really made me feel welcomed and made every effort to make [name removed] feel comfortable during her stay . This gave me tremendous peace of mind.

Approximately 45 minutes outside of Phoenix, Silver Creek Inn offers a peaceful memory care environment that’s designed to offer family-oriented care. The widespread, one-floor community features a Spanish-style exterior surrounded by lush foliage ranging from desert palms to well-trimmed bushes.

My loved one, was there a short period of time. It was a horrible experience, and we did not have a good experience with the head nurse. My loved one was not well groomed or clean. They gave loved one more medication, than what was required. I would not recommend this place.

We did a virtual tour with Silver Creek Inn and it was a very high end, fancy facility. It is more expensive and everything was an add on price so we went with another facility.

Do Your Research - Check Silver Creek's References
I do not recommend Silver Creek Inn. I was highly disappointed. At first I was very pleased with them, but as time went on things began to deteriorate. My loved one had severe dementia and anger issues that they assured me they would be able to handle, but in the end they were not able to do so. They called me a couple of times to come down when they weren't able to handle him, which I didn't mind terribly, as I would rather they let me know when there's an issue. He became less mobile over time and ended up with bedsores. They were supposed to be the premiere dementia and Alzheimer's care unit, and they didn't live up to what they billed. I think they were understaffed. Then Covid hit and I wasn't able to be with him while he passed. Overall I was very disappointed. I found them to be priced on the high end after looking at several places. Really the only positives were the activities director and the CNAs. Although often I would go down and find him wet, which they said was because he wouldn't cooperate. There were some medication mismanagement issues as well. If your loved one is very docile, I think they'd get along great here. But if they have standard dementia issues, not so much.

My mom is finally thriving
I can't say enough great things about this place! I was having to place my mother who is diagnosed with moderate Alzheimers right at the beginning of the coronavirus. I was very stressed as my mom was really struggling at the home she was at. She was agitated and frustrated and not getting the care that she needed. I won't bore you with all of her issues at her last home but rather tell you what a seamless process it was for me to get my mom moved in to Silver creek.
The care that she has received and the communication that has happened with me has been top notch. I am in healthcare and haven't been able to go seem my mom since the move and it has been really hard on me, but I received text of pictures of my mom and how she is doing which has been the biggest piece of mind to me! I call to check on her and am able to speak with the nurse on during that shift and that has been amazing! I love how they do care plans for each individual person instead of just letting them fail with no structure. Sadly the last place claimed they could take care of memory care patients but that clearly was not the case. What a night and day difference between facilities! I wish I would have put her here in the very beginning! The get my mom dressed and ready for the day and even looks like they have put some of her make up which my mom loves. The pictures and communication has been so comforting to me! My mom finally has her independence which is what she was struggling so much to find in the last home. They let her walk and do whatever she wants instead of forcing her and making her really agitated.
I look forward to being able to finally go visit with her! I will write another review when and after I am able to get in the home! In the meantime I feel such a sense of peace knowing she is loved and being well cared for! Thank you so much to [name removed] and [name removed] helping making this a great experience for all and thank you for taking such great care of her during this scary time!!

Best for Alzheimers
I finally found a place that my mother can thrive in! Having to move my mother couldn't have come at a more difficult time with the Covid virus going around. [Name removed] was amazing and helped us move my mom in with no issues at all. [Names removed] were both so great and helpful! They have been great with communication and letting me how my mom is doing as I can't visit her due to virus. I had so many issues at the last home she was in and have had not one issue since moving her in. They are more than capable of taking great care of a very mobile Alzheimers person. They know how to redirect and are very capable of giving them their independence back. I am sure as time goes on I will have nothing but great things to say about them! I will be recommending them to anyone who asks! Thank you Silver Creek for the amazing care you are giving my mom! Great and caring staff
My partner passed away a month ago. She was in hospice care for six months. When we knew it was the end, they moved my partners roommate to another room, made up the bed with fresh sheets, brought in a recliner for me with some snacks and let me stay with her until she passed. We were treated with respect and kindness. I thank the staff at Silver Creek very much.

Beautiful Place!!
I have recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I was very pleased with my experience. The staff where lovely to work with and did a great job with the presentation. I thought the facility was beautiful and had a lot of nice amenities for the residents. I just felt it was a little too big for my mom and the hallways where very narrow and long. That would have been difficult for my mother to navigate through on her own.

Comfort and care
We toured this community. We like the staff and the tour. The community is clean and they offer a nice menu with a good variety of meals. The list of activities would have been good for my father. The community is nice but it did not have a few things that we were needing at the time. We would highly recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

Our Experience
We had visited this community and mostly was concern if they could care for my wife. We seen a lot of places and some were less expensive. I had a tour with them and learned that they could not handle my wife.

Wonderful Place
Very shortly will I be moving my husband to this location.At first, when I toured it I didn't-think that I would be able to afford such a lovely place but in speaking with the contact person here she has worked the price as to where I can afford it and not sacrificing the level of care my husband will need. They are very kind and they are respectful of not only their residents but their families feelings. They have 3 nurses to shift that are trained in dementia patients so they can provide the right kind of care. The halls are monitored so that if an emergency happens the staff will know. There are bell cords in all the rooms. But best of all I can sign my husband out so we can go out to eat or take him to our home for a few hours.

Looked Like A Nice Place
This community was very lovely very bright and nicely decorated. The staff seemed to be nice and very helpful and informed about the community. The price was a little out of our budget but they had made a follow-up phone call with me and was willing to negotiate the price but by that time I had already settled on another community.

From what I understood it was a very nice community and in general the experience went good. There were a little frustrating moments with the care that was needed and some meal delivery. The staff were aware of our family's wants and needs and did a good job.

We are so glad we chose Silver Creek Memory Care for my Dad. He gets great care from an awesome staff who are truly concerned about his quality of life. Amazing place!!
I am so grateful for this place and everything they have done for my husband while he has been in there care. He has made a 75 percent improvement since making the move into this community. He is coming out of his room and participating in many activities as well as making it down to the dinning room for meal times. He is keeping up with his hygiene on his own and working on his communication every day. There is a day and night difference on how things have changed for him. We all are very happy and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
