Heritage of Meyerland is a good facility for a fair price. It is exactly what my loved one needs at this time. The room she has in memory care is a perfect size for what she needs. It has a private bathroom in her room, but no shower. But that is the right setup for someone in my moms stage of Alzheimer's.

The Lead nurse director, [name removed}, was wonderful. She has a heart for working with this population and was proactive in noticing when our dad needed escalation in his care. Other staff got to know our loved one quickly and cater to his interests. I liked that this was only a memory care facility. I was surprised that most facilities do not have a bed alarm system to prevent or catch falls given the patient population. We brought our own, but staff had to be trained on it. The staff were good at communicating via text, email or phone depending on our preference.

I have been well pleased with Hilltop Memory Care. My only concern has been difficulty in reaching staff. I received a voicemail expressing concern about my husband and was unable to reach anyone for over 12 hours. I hope this problem has been addressed. The director has assured me that my complaint about non availability of staff has brought about policy change and the problem has been resolved.

The staff is very helpful. The facility is very clean. Anytime I have a question I can call and get an answer. My father always has good things to say about the food. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs a place for memory care.

My mother has been a resident for over 3 years. She has done well and been cared for well .

We're happy so far.

The community has small capacity of residents, which I like. It is hard to get a hold of my loved one due to the staff never picking up the phone. The community is clean and up to date. The community keeps the residents busy with activities. They have family nights where we can have dinner with our loved one about once a month.

My loved one was only there for a short time before she passed, but it seemed like it would be a great place. The community is very friendly. The caregivers are generally good, but it's really not a place for someone with very limited mobility. They don't have a 24/7 nurse, although she was available on-call. It was a very clean and lovely facility. They offered plenty of activities. And as far as cost, they were one of the more reasonable places around.

we toured The Addington Place and I didn't particularly love the layout. there were a lot of different hallways with twists and turns, it could easily be confusing for someone in need of memory care. the common and gathering areas for activities was much smaller than I'd anticipated. during our visit we only saw a few residents participating in activities.

I really liked most things about the community. I was a bit concerned about the patient/caregiver ration. [Name removed] was great to work with. He was very accommodating and seemed honest-very important.

Our loved one has only been here for a couple of weeks but it is already night and day from our loved ones previous facility. We get pictures of our loved one being engaged - and he is difficult to get engaged. They follow up with phone calls in a timely manner and answer our questions. This is a higher level of memory care facility and they have a great approach. Our loved one is clean and bathed on a regular basis. All of the staff members wear masks, from the management team to house keeping and maintenance.

It is ok for the money. You get what you pay for. It isn't high end; however, what I'm pay is the right service. My loved one is super picky about their food; however, I'm not sure what it is like. They complain about the yogurt not being the kind they like, and not enough of a selection of food. There are activities such as: reading, memory games, chair yoga, classic movies, and manicures, balloon volleyball for the residents to choose from.

They take really good care of our loved one at The Addington, they are on top of him and really work well with his health issues. He has started to go down hill very quickly because he has dementia and Parkinson's. We also have long term hospice there watching over him, which makes us feel good since its like an extra pair of eyes. They are just really on top of his care.

It has fantastic value for what you get . We visited many places and for what you get, it is great. I wish they had more services like more activities for residents with different capabilities being it is a memory care. They are staffing issues but they are making improvements in that area. They are adding a transportation vehicle which will be nice. I would recommend this community to other families. I think the care is great. The staff are incredibly friendly and willing do to anything tat they can for the residents.

I like this facility because they keep my mom engaged and they take really good care of her. They treat her well and she is happy here. For activities, they offer things like exercise groups, car games, crafts, and baking classes. It’s a very clean and homey environment. Her room is spacious and came furnished. The food is good here but they don’t have a lot of options because it’s for memory care residents and they would be indecisive. I would recommend this facility to other families.

We liked this facility a great deal and are looking into arranging for Mom to move in here. While we were there, we observed considerable interaction between residents and staff, and were impressed with the layout and design. [Removed], the manger with whom we talked, was very personable and helpful.

My mother is well here in this community. She receiving great care, and everyone has been very kind. I know she is safe, and in great hand in this facility. She is pleased with the meals, and they provide great activities for the residents. Everything has worked out very well.

The care of this community. The staff is caring. I like knowing that she is in a very clean community that she seems to enjoy. The menu is appealing to her with a good variety. They offer her to participate in activiites with the other residents. we would highly recommend that care at this comuunuty for other families for good care and value for a loved one

My tour of this community went well. The community was well maintained, and everything I saw appeared to be clean. The staff I met was kind, and friendly. It was a lovely experience. My questions were answered, and it was a lovely experience overall.
