Having lost my home in the Lilac fire I looked at Silvergate for a new beginning. Having lost everything they offered me a model apartment until I was able to shop for furniture. I have been a resident for almost 2 years and have found my home place. It is a kind and caring residence with wonderful care and meals.

After reviewing and touring many Assisted Living facilities, we chose Silvergate in Fallbrook, CA for my mother. Our main reason was the staff was very warm, friendly and accommodating. The move from my mother's home to her studio apartment was seemless. She was especially grateful that she could bring her cat. Due to mobility issues, she loved the wheelchair service that brought her to the dining room, hair salon and the many activities. During her last few weeks of life she was transferred to the 24hr care building called "the Suites". I have nothing but fond memories of the wonderful care that was provided for my 100 year old mother. Without reservation, I can highly recommend Silvergate in Fallbrook, CA!

The people at Silvergate really enjoy working there. That translates into great care and service to the residents. I sleep much better knowing that my mother is in great hands!

My experience with Silvergate was outstanding. Although my mother ended up not moving there due to illness, we were both very impressed with the facility, their services and most especially, [name removed]. [Name removed] far exceeded my expectations for compassion and customer service. She took a genuine personal interest in my mother's well being, which in my experience, is an exceedingly rare quality. Our experience with [name removed] was fairly brief, but her professionalism and caring left a lasting impact. If I owned a senior living facility, [name removed] would be the first person I would call to run it.

My experience coming to Silvergate had always been a positive one. From the moment you walk through the front door you’re greeted with friendly smiling faces! The lobby and patio area are warm and welcoming, its a great place just to sit and relax and maybe do a little people watching. Whenever I’ve walked by the activity room there always seems to be something going on whether it’s an exercise class, a competitive game of corn hole or a movie in the theater. It’s nice to see the residents engaged and laughing! The staff is kind and always ready to assist with whatever you need.

My 90 year old mom moved into Silvergate under hospice care following a severe illness. Thanks in large part to the attentive care of the nurses and medtechs she is no longer on hospice and is thriving with minimal assistance. The quality of the facility, the dining experience, the staff and the residents of Silvergate all rate five stars. It is a wonderful community of people. Mom actually feels loved by the caregivers and we are blessed to be part of the Silvergate Family.

My wife and I searched for a facility for a brother-in-law after he suffered a brain injury. He was in memory care for about a year and then moved to assisted living following some improvement. Initially, we chose Silvergate Fallbrook because it featured a bright naturally lit atmosphere which seemed much more inviting than some facilities we toured. We later discovered that the staff is very involved with the residents and provide care based on the needs and desires of the residents and they strive to keep residents involved in various activities. Transportation is provided allowing some relief for active families that can't provide for all these needs. There's a library, movie room with snacks, wii games, field trips, happy hour, and great food. This is really a first class facility.

My mother has been at Silvergate for 6 years now and we are so happy to have her in such a wonderful place! She is safe there, well fed and there are so many activities for her to choose from to help keep her active. The staff is attentive and kind. If I ever have any questions, they are answered promptly by management. Silvergate San Marcos is the perfect size community for Mom. It is not too big as she would get lost navigating the facility. The classes and activities are perfect for her to get to know and make friends. She is never lonely and enjoys her meals at a table for 4 so there is always interesting conversation going on. She will continue to reside there as long as she is able. She is happy and that's what matters most to our family!

My mother was at Silvergate and it changed her life. When she first came there she was angry with the world. The staff was consistent with her, always made her feel important. Her anger melted away and it opened up her heart to accept love. Love from others who lived at Silvergate and love from her family. There are always bumps and there are always things that are not perfect with any type of facility but Silvergate comes the closest to being "home" for so many. The activities and marketing coordinator in San Marcos is amazing. The driver of the bus [name removed] is so kind and caring. [Name removed] the Executive Director is over the top AMAZING! She truly cares about each and every resident and knows each by name.

My mom had loving care at Silvergate for more than ten years. During that time she went from assisted living to a year of memory care. Concerns at Silvergate are addressed quickly, since the owner is local and hands-on, the management is steady and experienced, and the staff are exceptionally kind. I recommend them without hesitation.

My mom has been at Silvergate San Marcos for over 2 years and we have been extremely happy with our experience. They have provided her a "home" and she feels safe and secure and loved. The caregivers really care about her and try their best. Nothing will be perfect but this is pretty close to it.

My grandmother [name removed] has been in memory care at Silvergate San Marcos since May '17. She was in a buy-in assisted living community back in Lake Forrest Chicago originally. However, as her dementia progressed she needed more care and their memory care unit was full. We decided to move her out to north county San Diego where she could be closer to family. I've been very impressed with the care and good family communication Silvergate San Marcos provides. They have a higher level of nurse staffing than other memory care facilities which gives me great piece of mind that she's taken care of. They call with updates frequently on her health whenever there's a change which I greatly appreciate. She's in a private room which we decorated with a few pieces of her own furniture that we shipped out from Chicago. The rooms are big which allowed us to even add a new love seat and sit with her when we come visit. They also just renovated the common living room areas which turned out beautifully. Feels like a nice house. She recently celebrated her 95th birthday. We celebrated out on the garden veranda where she was surrounded by family and even a few friends from the community. Despite her disease, Silvergate has made this phase of her life special. I'm glad we chose to move 'Nana' here and I would highly recommend Silvergate San Marcos to anyone else in need of a memory care home for their loved one.

My mother will be 95 next month. She has been at Silvergate San Marcos since early 2013. Silvergate has caring staff, good food, good activities, and is well-managed. We appreciate knowing that my mother is being cared for in this manner. Several family members have visited from around the country and praised Silvergate for these reasons. One thing that stands out about Silvergate is the personal attention extended to residents by the owner. He visits periodically, exchanges pleasantries with residents, relates some of his travel experiences and hosts periodic receptions for family members.

My parents have been at Silvergate, San Marcos, for the last 6 years. This has been a godsend for us all as they take such good care of them and help them stay busy with an assortment of fun activities. My parent’s always have nice things to say about he staff, food and cleanliness. The new remodel has really helped spruce the place up a lot. This is a really well run company!

I've toured here and the community is very clean & smells nice. They have obviously put money back into the building to keep it up to date and modern.

I have been living here for quite sometime now and I have nothing to complain with the care and fun things there are to do here. I have so many friends and people who were like me and afraid to make the decision to come to a retirement home, but I am so happy I did it sooner. I am independent but will soon need care and it's nice to know that the care I need is readily available for me when I need it. Thank you silvergate for giving me a new life and new friends!

I took a tour here yesterday and I had such a wonderful time. My mom is in need of a community and care as she is in her sunset years and I couldn't think of a better place to take her than here. The tour went so well and the lady answered all my questions in regards to care, activities, and programs. I couldn't be any happier and have a sense of relief in having her start a new chapter in her life here.

I recently toured this retirement community and was very surprised by the help we got when we arrived. The staff and lady that was helping us was super sweet and let us talk about our concerns when it came to care. She was extremely patient and understanding. The place as a whole was quiet and very clean. Thank you silvergate for a wonderful experience, we will be back soon.

I can't tell you how much I love my new retirement home. It is centrally located in san marcos near my family and close to great shops and fun things to do. Silvergate has truly been such a blessing for me and thank the Lord everyday for my friends here and a life with a wonderful community!
