Azura Living

I feel the staff at Azura are my daughters angels. They give her loving care. Her needs are special and involved and they accommodate her exceptionally well.

My spouse has been a resident at Azura Eau Claire for 19 months. I have been extremely pleased with the care and compassion of the staff. I have visited friends in other memory care units and I realize how fortunate I am to have chosen Azura.

We are in awe of the work done by the staff. They are patient and caring. We applaud the creativity of the staff in providing stimulating, varied and pleasant activities and environment. We appreciate the effort made to facilitate opportunities for my parents to be together.

All have been very nice. Management and all the workers. It is a safe place for my dad.

My mom was living alone in her own home. She started to wander away at night and I was concerned she would harm herself or someone else. Now that she is happy living at Azura, I can rest easy knowing she is safe.

Overall -great. One comment - when there is a problem and it is brought to the attention of staff members it must have been someone on another shift" is almost always the reply.

The residents at Azura Memory Care are treated as if this was their home and this is their home. The staff show true genuine care to the residents and are very good about engaging with them. Based on our experience we would absolutely recommend this community to other families looking for a place for themselves or their loved ones

We ended up taking my loved one out, so could take care of him on my own. But if we were to ever need a care facility again would certainly recommend Azura Memory Care of Wasusau to anyone looking for good quality care.

Team members are caring and compassionate towards the residents and their loved ones. They have fun parties and activities to engage residents and their families.

We saw some other places before picking Azura and I thought that they had the best for what there is to offer in Monroe. I honestly don't know where they get the young people that work there who care so much, that's not typical of young people today. They care and it's not just put on. They love her to death and she loves them; she'll put her arms around them and she hugs them. She is nonverbal so she can't verbally express how much she likes them, but she certainly shows that she does likes them. I think they're the greatest. In regards to management, there's one girl that was there and I think she's not there anymore. I don't connect with management very often. When I first came, and it didn't go very good. I gave her a check for 2 months when I first arrived. She must have lost the check because I remember giving it to her, and I have a checkbook that creates copies in it. About 3 to 4 weeks later, the head office called to tell me that I haven't paid. I told them that I did and in fact, I paid for 2 months. I questioned that if I owed more money already, then something was wrong. The girl at the office in Monroe said I didn't give her the check, when I told her I did and reminded her, she then remembered. Two weeks later I got a letter from Azura headquarters saying my wife would have to leave for non-payment and that bothered me because I knew I paid them. But I looked at the check information and it hadn't been cashed, so she likely did lose it and then told headquarters that I didn't pay. It was kind of like she was throwing me under the bus and I will never forget that. For me to not a pay a bill is extremely unusual and unlikely. If it wouldn't have been for the care itself, we would have automatically left and if I had to rate the management I would give them a 0 out of 5, not even a 1. But, the care itself is second to none and that's the part the matters.

My loved one is much happier here than where she was previously at. They actually do her hair and she is always clean and well taken care of. Overall they have been wonderful and I would definitely recommend Azura to others looking for memory care for their loved ones.

The staff has longevity, they have worked together for a long time and they really get to build relationships with the residents. During day hours they really monitor the residents who go to their room. they also encourage them to stay out and socialize with others. They monitor every 2 hours overnight. It is expensive but it is worth the money for the amount of care she is getting. I would definitely recommend Azura, especially to those whose loved ones who have communication issues.
