Azura Living

Azura is a wonderful place. The care - love and respect that is given to my wife is excellent. I thank God my daughter found Azura Oak Creek, staff is exceptional.

Azura - Wausau has been my daughter's home for over 2 years now. She was diagnosed 13 years ago in her late 30's. She is so happy and well cared for at Azura. The Azura staff of caregivers are the most empathic, loving and caring people I have ever met. My daughter is safe, happy and loved at Azura. I am so grateful for Azura. Azura doesn't just hire staff, they hire angels.

I am overall very happy with the care.

This is the fourth facility my uncle has been at. It is by far the best overall facility he has been in. Staff is very caring and cooperative. They keep the facility very clean. All the residents are kept clean, well fed and happy. They keep me well informed on my uncles status. I highly recommend this facility to others!

My mom lives at Azura Oak Creek. The staff are all wonderful. The living quarters apartments are always clean and my mom loves the food. They have great activities for the residents.

Azura Brookfield offers a warm, caring environment for residents with different needs - from consistent attention and care to those who are independent. The atmosphere is always pleasant, the maintenance is very good and there are always activities available. Friendships are made and residents bond. Staff is there to make it all happen.

This has been the best decision I ever made. My apartment is lovely and the staff is amazing!

In these difficult times, I feel that Azura has done an excellent job in retaining well trained and friendly care givers.

I am very happy with Azura. The staff are friendly and professional. They have taken the time to get to know my mom's life story to understand her better. They are receptive to suggestions. I like that there is an option to see a nurse practitioner that comes to the facility. The director and staff are willing and open to talking to find solutions as things arise.

This is a wonderful memory care facility. It is smaller in size so the residents will get more personal, individual care. The staff is always very professional and respectful. I feel that my family member is always safe and well cared for.

Everyone is very helpful and very nice. I feel very comfortable knowing that my grandma is getting the best care.

When our father passed away, there was a huge void in all of our lives, but especially my mother. They met when they were 14 and had 60 years of marriage. My mom needed the kind of care we could not give her. She has been at Azura Wausau for five years and has been cared for by the staff with consideration, understanding and compassion. I thank my lucky stars for them.

There are not enough words to say just what Azura has meant to our family and mom. Having to move her to Azura 4 years ago was very difficult. But the past and present team enveloped her and us with open, loving arms. Azura cared for her as one of their own. She recently passed away, but was surrounded by her family and the Azura family as well. We cannot thank them enough for all they have done. Azura is top notch in caring for persons with dementia. I highly recommend them.

Azura - Larson House is very nice there. My mom loves it there. She loves all the activities they have there. I'm very happy she lives there. I don't worry that something would happen to her. The staff is awesome, they are so good with all the residents. [Name removed] that works there, my mom says she loves him. He's like a son she never had and I think he is great too. [Name removed], the director, she is so great too, very caring. She let my mom bring her cat with her there. A lot of the workers and residents have to come in to see mom and the cat. Rosie, mom's cat, loves all the attention.

Moved my mom to the OC community in May 2021. Her overall mood level and sense of contentment has improved dramatically after the horrible experience we endured with her previous care community. Her room - and the entire facility - are extremely well maintained. She's always dressed properly and her hygiene is also excellent.

My husband, [name removed], has been a resident here for less than one month. I have been impressed by the care during that brief time. Not long enough though to feel we know the staff well enough to nominate for the True Blue Award.

Only the brand new employees (and this is expected) do not meet or exceed the high standards expected of them.

I highly recommend Azura of Wausau for any loved one requiring specialty care due to its small, warm and caring atmosphere. It might not have the luxury of a new building with movie theaters, private bathrooms, etc., but the facility is kept up to date, clean and has all the amenities needed to care for the 19 residents. My mother has been a resident at Azura for many years and my family and I are very happy with the love and care she receives. This year, we experienced the frightful results of Covid-19, along with the horrible effects of Alzheimer's among our loved ones; however, Azura will conquer having gone through many changes will become a welcoming house for all... residents, family and friends.

We had several choices and toured several places and we think mom ended up in the best place!
