I have been here 8 years. Moving here to Glen Eddy was my only choice. Living alone in a Glenville home was not an option.

I am very happy with the service, food, activities and staff. The location of Glen Eddy is very convenient to many shopping areas, houses of worship and medical facilities as well as being surrounded by beautiful views.

Very satisfied with Glen Eddy grounds and building well maintained. Dining service is good. There are many various activities. Staff is super.

Very friendly, enthusiastic, and capable staff who go the extra mile every time. Residents have become dear friends who help make growing older an adventure. Best move I ever made.

Wonderful, helpful staff! Responsive and kind. Some really excellent services – cooperative spirit between staff and residents. Excellent competent maintenance – located on a safe and secure campus; no through traffic.

Hawthorne Ridge is a caring and friendly community. The staff starting right at the top and straight on down is just like family. We care about each other. Hawthorne Ridge is not just a building. It is a place I am happy to call my Home!!

There is everything here that you would need – cleaning services, bus transportation, classes galore, maintenance, etc. We have a first rate chef and staff – meals are very good as is the selection. The whole place is immaculate.

I have lived here in the Independent Living area for 2 years. I feel I have been revitalized and feel so lucky to have come here. It is the best of places for me – lots of activities and lovely people to do them with – I also enjoy my quiet time in my lovely apartment. Lucky, lucky Me!!

I am extremely grateful that we found the Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center for my mother. Choosing a place for a parent with dementia/alzheimers is one of the hardest things I have had to do. But everything about the MDRC, from the thoughtful way the facility is designed for residents with dementia/alzheimers, the gardens, the staff who have been so dedicated to helping my mother adjust to a new home, all make me confident that I found the best place for my parent.

The staff is warm, and welcoming. Questions were answered quickly. My aunt loves her new apartment. The layout is spacious, well designed with a seperation of living room and bedroom and plenty of storage. Residents are also friendly when I asked one resident if she liked living there - she replied "what's not to like!" My aunt and I have to agree with her!

Excellent place for my dad to live. He has excellent care. Everyone that works there is friendly, caring and extremely nice. I travel a lot and do not worry as I know he is safe and taken care of while I am away. A lot of great activities and many different things to do.

Employees are very friendly and helpful! Programs I attend are most enjoyable.

The Terrace is a classy place, beautifully decorated and maintained. I can't think of a service they don't offer to a person in my condition. There's somebody around for everything I need.

The Terrace is a great facility due in no small part to a very caring and attentive staff. In my experience, the residents are always their top priority.

My mother moved to Glen Eddy in August, 2019. She tells us everyday that "there is not one thing about my new home that I don't like." The staff is wonderful—attentive and caring. Mom says the food is wonderful. There are many, many activities for the residents to enjoy. My mother is very much enjoying the activities and also the company of the other residents. And her children are so happy that Mom is in a safe, healthy, and happy community.

Atmosphere (sp) is cheerful. Friendly people always fun things to do. The Eddy has given me a new lease on life.

Both of my parents reside at the Eddy in the assisted living facility. Theirs was a unique situations with one having mild dementia and the other recovering from a stroke. My mom was used to running their life and after suffering the stroke from the stress of caring for my dad and trying to stay in their beloved home, it was a huge challenge to find a facility that could manage their different levels of cared required, their main priority being together and not separated. The administration and the staff at the Eddy performed a miracle and accommodated their dual placement with tailored solutions; they never said "we don't or can't do that," they just figured out how they would do it. It's been 7 months now and they are both thriving, which I attribute to the excellent professional and compassionate care they receive from staff that treat them like family.

My needs are fulfilled now that I no longer can live in my own home + take care of myself.

I have been a residents of The Terrace for four months. I have to say I have been treated like family by all of the staff right from the beginning. Everyone has offered any assistance I have needed. The environment is beautiful and most enjoyable.

The Terrace is an ideal place to live if you are elderly. The helpers are wonderful and kind, the food is excellent and there are interesting activities if you want to keep busy. I would highly recommend the Terrace to anyone.
