I like the Beechwood for the transportation and the cleanliness. I like having people around. Just knowing someone is in the building is comforting. [names removed] very helpful.

My mom has been living at MDRC for over a year, and I couldn't be more pleased with the facility and the staff. The nurses and staff go out of their way to provide individualized attention to the residents, addressing their wishes, and providing a warm, supportive environment. Every day the residents have a variety of exercise and other activities to choose from that are targeted to the specific needs of individuals with dementia. During COVID, the staff members took extra precautions and ensured that none of the residents became sick. It was a great comfort during this time to know that my mom was being well cared for. I would highly recommend MDRC for anyone looking for a new home for a loved one suffering from dementia.

They are absolutely wonderful, they take such good care of my Mother, she loves it there! The staff go out our their way to make sure all residents are comfortable and safe. I’m so glad my Mom is there, it’s a wonderful place for her!

I am very greatfull to have found this facility for my Mother. She is well cared for Physically, mentally and spititually. Before she moved to Marjorie Doyle she was sitting at home alone depressed and waiting to die. The care and compainionship she has received at Marjorie Doyle has brought back the sparkel in her eye and the dancer in her feet. As a supporting daughter, I am always well informed about her care and am always encouraged to stay for a meal and share my time with my Mom and her friends. We all have a good time. During this Covid crises the entire staff has gone above and beyond to keep my mother safe and happy and me well informed about continuing changes. Although I miss Mom, I never worry about her care or safety.

The community is small and we are all close. It takes the daily worries away! The staff is accommodating to our needs as residents. It's just so important not to be alone and at Beechwood we are not. Its comforting to have neighbors and a staff that checks in on us!

We rented for a few months before finally moving in. It was a big step and well worth it. Staff is outstanding and really go out of their way for residents.

My 99 year old mother has lived there for 12 years. A very, very caring and loving staff who keep an eye on that special person for me. My mom! It’s a great community.

My mom currently resides at this facility. I searched Albany and Saratoga Counties and this is the facility my parents chose to be their home. My mom has been a resident since last November. The apartments are clean and well-maintained. At first, they appear small, if moving from your home, but the resident soon finds it is more then ample. My mom is extremely happy here. She has made friends and developed a routine of activities she attends daily. The food is excellent and Mom has many choices. Through this pandemic I have never once felt she was in danger. Currently certain days of the week are allotted for visits. My mom tells me which day is best to accommodate her schedule. She is very pleased with the staff and the staff is receptive to my requests. I wish they had a larger nursing facility. Beverwyck is worth a look!

Every person we have come in contact with has exceeded our expectations. We are always confident our mother has the best care and attention to make this a comfortable living situation for her. She is very happy and made friends with the other residents and the staff. Beverwyck has been a great fit for her and the family.

Since moving into the Terrace from Independent Living, my Mother has thrived with the additional care and attention she has received. Additionally, I am less stressed knowing that she is not alone in case something should happen. It was a tough decision to make to move into assisted care, but definitely the right one.

This is one of the best and premier Assisted Living facility in the Capital District! Opened about 21 years the facility looks like it opened yesterday. The most important item thou is the staff .... they could not be better nor more accommodating. I’ve had 4 relatives who have lived there over the years so I know the facility...... If you are in need of an Assisted Living facility consider The Terrace at Beverwyck!

I can’t say enough about the Terrace, especially during this difficult time of COVID. They have bent over backward to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. I may not like all the rules, bet every resident has been COVID free! Every families’ ultimate goal! There are other ways to ‘see’ your family members and the staff supports such ways. Any time I have a question for [names removed], I receive an answer within their workday and even beyond if it is an emergency. All other staff including the nurses, aides, front desk staff, kitchen staff, and maintenance personnel are kind, supportive, and wonderful people! I would highly recommend the Terrace!

My father happily lived at Glen Eddy independent living for eight years. At age 99 I thought it was time for assisted living for him (and for my peace of mind). So he moved to The Terrace at Glen Eddy. It has been wonderful. The care is superb; he is comfortable, safe and happy. The food is excellent and activities are healthy and stimulating.

I have two senior relatives that live here. I highly recommend the Beverwyck. Staff are attentive, caring, and professional. The care during the Covid-19 pandemic has been exceptional.

Our 93 year old father Is so happy to be at the Glen Eddy. After a health crisis in January, he knew that the time had come to move from his home to an assisted living program. Dad moved in in May and is so thrilled to be there. Dad is fiercely independent, and the staff support him in all his choices and needs. As a retired health care executive, I view the Glen Eddy not only as a family member, but also as a healthcare professional. The Eddy has exceeded all of my expectations. All staff, from healthcare staff to the entire support team are professional, warm and carding. Dad is treated with the upmost dignity and respect, and we, as family members have received the same consideration.

The Terrace is truly THE best! It's a caring, clean and safe community that gives us peace of mind. We have seen many alternatives in the capital district and found the Terrace to be head and shoulders above in every way. We couldn't be happier!

I already told and a friend and she has already moved in. The food has been ok because COVID, but it is getting better. My apartment is beautiful, and overlooks a little bit of woods. It is a nice view. There are a lot of activities for residents. Some include: games, exercise programs, and the library brings books to the residents.
