My father passed away on [date removed] , he fell in the shower and developed a brain bleed. He had to move to a skilled nursing facility where he passed away. He complained about not liking the food. Other residents there told me the foid was good. There were always activities going on there, but dad didn't participate. [name removed] , the Director there is an absolute gem. I really liked the facility and the staff. I highly recommend the Regency at South Shore.

The facility is well maintained, and the staff are nice to deal with. Compared to several other facilities that I looked at Parkside was the best choice. The nurses were friendly and addressed any concerns I brought up about my brother’s care. The room was spacious and gave each resident their privacy. I am very happy that Parkside was my final choice for where my brother would be living.

Let me start by saying she was only there for a little over a month. She loved it there compared to [community name removed] She quickly went down hill with difficulty eating and drinking. She was transferred to St Vincent hospital around [date removed]where they wanted to insert a feeding tube. Her living will said she did not want that so she rapidly deteriorated and passed I believe on [date removed]. I live in Texas so my environment was all by phone, text or emails. Everyone I communicated with was very friendly and helpful.

We are extremely pleased with our mom's life at the Regency. The staff, the activities, and the facility is fantastic. She is extremely content living there, and we, her children, are very solaced to know she's in such a nice place. We did have some issues for a while with lack of oversight and communication with nursing, but thankfully that is past. [name removed] became the new Director of Nursing a few months ago and we could not be happier with her. She's been a game changer. Our mother likes her and responds very well to her, and she has been more than attentive to our requests, questions, and needs. She takes all families' concerns and resident wellbeing very seriously. Where we had been becoming frustrated with some of our issues with nursing before, [name removed] has totally changed that and we are continually grateful to her and for her!

My loved one was previously a resident at The Regency at South Shore for 10 months. The Regency was wonderful. After my loved one passed, they all were crying with us! It's a big enough facility to offer activities and outings, but small enough to get attached to everyone.

I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend it. It is the closest to my home and had everything we needed.

Parkside was much much nicer than [facility name removed] where she transferred from. Very easy to work with for the short time she was there. Unfortunately she tried to get up on her own around 4:30am and fell again. She spent about a week in St Vincent Hospital where she passed on [date removed]. I'd like to thank [name removed] and all the others that made her stay possible.

Parkside is the best for memory care. They were a blessing at a difficult time. I would highly recommend them. They were more like a family there. I was there frequently and worked very close with them. They are outstanding and I would of never of found them without A Place For Mom. You told me about Parkside and I will be forever grateful. I miss seeing all the wonderful people.

The Regency at South Shore has been a tremendous blessing for my family. When my father passed away, it left the family in a difficult position to care for our mother and support her as heart heart healed from the loss. We did a lot of research into where she would get the best care for her needs and where she would be most comfortable and content. Right away, we were very impressed with what the Regency offered, and my mother felt right at home immediately. She is flourishing now in her beautiful little apartment and has activities during the week that she truly enjoys. She had company surrounding her with the residents and the staff that has been an incredible blessing to her and to us. Mom is extremely happy at The Regency, and we her children are very grateful. This has been an answer to a lot of prayers.

Positive experience. Staff loved Dad. Took good care of him.Parkside set our expectations on Dad's weekly care. Dad loved the food. We picked this community, because Parkside could immediately bring Dad into Parkside within 3 days of submitting the application. Parkside was a great help.

New owners last fall good before but even better now. Staff is very professional but also so friendly like family. They are always looking out for the residents. Wonderful atmosphere.

They've been wonderful to my loved one and to our family at The Regency at South Shore. My loved one loves the food and the activities and even the beautician who does her hair. Everyone is always so friendly and all of the residents seem to be happy here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They're wonderful! Very patient and understanding. The maintenance guy is very helpful with everything from hanging draperies to funny noises in the garbage disposal and reprogramming the TV remote again. He's always very pleasant. My loved one loves the food and the selection available. She's from Florida, but says that the fresh fruit is so much better here. She really likes the desserts....from the sugar free items to the homemade cakes, pies, etc. The housekeeping crew is great. [name removed] is wonderful and keeps my loved one's apartment spotless and is always so sweet. The staff goes above and beyond with communication, making sure that we not only know how our loved one is doing but also what's going on day to day. They have several family-included activities scheduled for this Summer. We live about 30 minutes away, so it's wonderful to know that our loved one is happy and safe in an atmosphere that feels like family....even to us! We would definitely recommend The Regency at South Shore for any loved ones!

We were faced with placing my mother into an assisted living facility due to her dementia at the end of January 2023. Since then, the AMAZING staff at Glenwood have been EXTREMELY HELPFUL to our family as well as to her! The Director and staff have NEVER ignored any of our questions/concerns/requests. They go "beyond the call of duty" for anything that comes up. The Executive Director is the ABSOLUTE BEST and she REALLY CARES and UNDERSTANDS the patient's needs and their family's sorrow. My mother is doing very well and she LOVES it there! She raves about the food, activities and the kind care she gets from the staff! My mom is HAPPY there and she LOVES "spa days." Your loved one will NEVER be ignored nor denied at Glenwood! Also, the monthly fees are very reasonable for the loving care your loved one gets! I sincerely THANK the staff, but especially the Director there. They are all ANGELS at LECOM'S Parkside at Glenwood! I highly recommend Glenwood!

I have nothing but good things to say about Parkside at Corry. My mom loves it there and everything is wonderful. The people, the residents, everything. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her. It was everything my mom needed at an affordable price and the location next to the hospital was a huge plus. I'd recommend it 100%.

This is the most friendliest, cleanest place I have ever lived in. many features of this place is that they are always having activities for everyone. Nice park at side of building with grills, table and chairs. always something to to. The hospital and clinic are within walking distance for all visits and to get good food.

This is a nice, new facility that is clean and close to everything. It feels safe and secure. Staff were very friendly and engaging with the residents. The whole place seemed cheerful and happy. Take a tour and see for yourself.

Parkside is a safe place to live. Conveint to shopping and resturants. Nextstore to a hospital. Very pleasant and helpfull manager. Matience is timly in making repairs and cleaning staff always quick to complete task.

This place is awsome! If it wasn"t for this place, my husband would pobably be going into a nursing home soon. Here at Parkside at Corry I can be with my disabled husband with me and have help too. So many benefits that we have here! We can actually stay together, and I am so thankful for this place where we live.

What a comfort & easy feel this tour was! I felt safe & home as soon as my eyes seen the earthy colors ! I felt relaxed & smiled! Everything was new & done just right! Very spacious modern! I can’t see for needing anything here as it has all the amenities one would think of - activities, nearby hospital & shops & a group of like people to fit in with. The window views were natures best & I smiled at the thought of a bird feeder for home warming gift for a new beginning in this chapter for my Uncle’s next chapter! Better get some birdseeds too! ?? ??

Just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to the management/staff at the LECOM Corry PA facility. We recently were guided on an informative, friendly and most welcoming tour by manager [Name removed]. We were treated with the utmost respect while trying to make such an important decision. Personally cannot say enough about this facility. If anyone reading this is in need of the services offered there….please take the time and tour . You won’t be disappointed
