Very minimal problem. She likes food and some activities and we would recommend the Paul's Run community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

I'm happy I chose it for my Mom- it's a great fit and really good care. We picked this community because of the location and size of the residence.

My mom has resided here for over 4 years. The staff knows my mothers health and what she has eaten or drank...anytime I ask without checking her chart. Many staff members are extremely caring. I really...

My father was in this facility for rehab. While Paul's Run is a nice looking clean facility the rehab is iffy at best. The PTs watch the clock and DO NOT think outside the box and follow a sheet. They are also spread thin. When I tried working with my father's physical therapist on wheelchair mobility (he is recent amputee) I was told by the social worker they do not normally discharge in wheelchairs. Then told my mother to find LTC but they could not take him. The odd thing about this is that the process to get a prothesis usually takes a year to 18months so why did they accept my father from the hospital if they did not discharge in wheelchairs? I would not recommend Paul's Run for rehab on top of everything they put my father in diapers and would not take him to the bathroom because it took too long because he needed two people to assist.

My father was in their short term rehab for a month after surgery. The rehab part was good, but the medical care was not too good. They didn't seem to be able to evaluate or treat any medical problems. The staff overall was also very iffy - some were kind, but many didn't seem to want to be there. They were abrupt and rude. The nighttime shift is horrible. My father often waited 30-40 minutes for help getting to the bathroom, then another 30-40 minutes for someone to come back. They then told him they were sleeping or they all decided to take a break at the same time. Where is the night time supervision? Who knows. We reported this several times but nothing changed. They even have it set up so they can see how long it takes for someone to answer a call bell, and it was documented it took 45 minutes, but still they did nothing.

We started out with a good impression but it quickly went sour. Our elderly loved one was in rehab and we decided to transition her over to either long term care or assisted living. One person there told us she qualified for assisted living. She gave us a tour, showed us the studio apt, we were even permitted to take measurements. They gave us all indications that it was a go, even setting up a time to sign papers and give them a check. Then all of a sudden it all changed and they discharged her from rehab saying she no longer qualified for that apartment based on the level of care needed. They basically left us high and dry and we had to take her back home to be cared for. Very bad communication among their employers and telling the family the correct information. They tell you one thing and then it all changes. I felt like something was definitely fishy about the whole situation.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with this place! My great aunt was living there for a few months and she was neglected and treated VERY POORLY. In 53 years I never saw my aunt cry in my life until she was at this place. I myself work at a hospital and always USED to recommend this place but now I will do nothing but tell everyone the AWFUL TRUTH!!! We kept her there for a few months to see if maybe she was just not used to the change at first and it was the worst decision my family and I have ever made. It makes me sick that I let this happen to my sweet sweet aunt. I really do not wish what happened to my aunt on my worst enemy! There was one worker that actually took care of my aunt and I would do anything to just meet her and say THANK YOU! My aunt non stopped talked about her, saying she was so amazing and the only one who truly cared for her well being. With the Alzheimer's my aunt doesn't know her name only her face. If it ever comes to her I will be sure to notify her if I can and buy her a nice dinner. There is not a lot of honest and caring people left in this world but she is one of them. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will always resent them for the pain they caused my dear old aunt!

The assessment of my Mother was not accurate as family was not allowed to be with her during the review. The feeling we got was that if you needed more than minimal care you were not in the right place. Not enough help on the floor...........one nurse for two floors on weekends and one aide on each floor at night on weekends. You can have dementia or alzheimers but you had best be docile. We all felt that they resented family being on the scene on a regular basis. We were required to have someone with our loved one during the day and even at night til she was asleep. Mom had a special diet of no cauliflower or broccoli and it was served to her on a regular basis. 85% of the time the smell was awful - not enough help to clean up messes.

Only "some" of the Staff actually care about the residents. They seem to get a significant number of breaks and are frequently "unavailable". Do not expect an honest answer if you submit a complaint. Many of the residents will not speak up for fear of retaliation. The grounds are somewhat attractive, but that should not be why you select a facility. Inside, there are plumbing issues, rodents, bugs, etc. Be sure you have an attorney explain to you that you may or may not receive benevolent funds. You will pay thousands of dollars for "activities fee", non-refundable.

My mom fell & chose to go to Paul’s Run because she’d been there in the past to recover from hip surgery. The place has gone so downhill in 5 years, as far as the nursing staff goes. They left my poor mom sitting for hours crying in pain in a wheelchair & refused to help her into bed. She had just had surgery & needed to rest. There is no respect for the patients there. They only helped her back into bed because I came. The dining room waitress is super nasty and made her cry more than once. Also, thru wheel her in there and then forget about her. It’s been such an awful experience. The therapy is still good and they are kind but other than that it’s been awful. They put her in a diaper, which she didn’t need & she developed an awful rash in her private area from lack of proper cleaning!!! I am so upset with this place. Please do not let anyone you love go there for rehab.

At first was happy with the care then it was awful .My loved one was dirty and uncared for . The manager had an attitude when I complained .There is not enough help there yet they have lavish parties for the adm. Of artman that patients and family are not invited to ? I heard from another person that when my mother needed help eating no one helped her she was found wearing the cloths she had worn the night before no one helped her to put her pajamas on , I personally heard a aide screaming at a gentleman who had dementia honestly this place should be shut down its totally all for show!

Nice facility - TERRIBLE REHAB! My sister was admitted for post-op PT and was ignored for the first weekend. She then had some token PT, being essentially ignored by the PT and told to "do what's on the sheet." She had to ASK for training on the steps. This weekend she has been ignored again because she was informed that only two therapists were working and there were "patients who needed therapy more." This is delaying her discharge back to a normal life and only making more money for Paul's Run. I cannot, as a healthcare worker, recommended Paul's Run for rehab services.
