These folks are an amazing group of professionals. They have taken very meticulous care of my mother during a very difficult time for our family. They care, they are concerned, and quite compassionate. They communicate very well and treat my mother with dignity.

The cost is very expensive, but I think it's a great place for my mom. I didn't want to put her in a nursing home, so this was a great alternative and I feel like it's fine. Family can come and go. You can come by and check her out; I can take her out to eat and I'll pick her up to take her to doctor appointments still. They're very organized and they do a great job with my mom. It got to where I couldn't do it anymore, it was breaking my body down. I'll need back surgery next year, it got to where I couldn't physically or mentally hold out to it anymore. Briar Glen is a great alternative, they're the perfect place.

My dad didn't want to go here at first, I tried to convince him a year ago. We finally got him to move in because he wanted to leave his previous nursing home. Now, he's convinced that Birchwoods at Canco Senior Living is his home. He says he's going to live here until he passes. He has encouraged me to sell his house because he has no intention on going back, that is how much he loves it here.

It is the closest to home, that you will get for your loved one. The food is excellent, and the interaction is great.

My loved one seemed to like the food. There was no complaints about the food, and based on what I saw the food looked good. They had activites but my loved one, did not really participate. It was expensive but included more care services. My loved one had a short stay there. Overalll, the staff did their job and communicated when anything happened.

My mom isn't very happy there. She doesn't like the food. There are some things I'm unhappy with as well. There are a lot of unlocked doors, so anyone could walk in at any time. I don't think they do a good job cleaning her room. They bring her medications in a cup but don't watch her take them, and I don't think that's right. They're not as responsive to requests/concerns as I would like them to be. But some of the people there are very nice. When I was moving her in, a young man who worked there was off duty and still helped me move in her mattress and move things around in her apartment, which was really nice of him. There are those there who go above and beyond, and I try to focus on that.

This was a nice community. The memory care residents were further along on their journey than my loved one was and I wasn't sure the socialization needs of my loved one.

We had a really nice tour experience with Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. Unfortunately they were not going to be able to accommodate our loved ones needs - but it looked like a great place.

The rooms are a little bit small, but that's to be expected. My in-laws really like the meals and tell me the food is really good. All the staff are really nice. It's a small community, but I think that's good for a close community feeling. I also like that there's memory care on-site when they need that down the road.

The staff members had a caring respectful relationship with our dad and with family members. We are grateful for their role in his final months of life.

This was the 3rd facility that my mom had lived at in a short period of time and it was just wonderful. It was the best out of the others she had lived in by far. They are dedicated to memory care only and she got great personalized attention. I would recommend them to others looking.

I would love to live there myself. Some day! They worked with us when we were in a bad spot, even though we took the one-month option, which turned into two. They were flexible. It's a beautiful place. Loved the snack shop. Lots of activities, even though my mom is not social. The staff is friendly. They allow her to be independent but were always there if she needed something.

It is a nice place, do not have anywhere else to compare it to. Only downside is it is very expensive.

When our loved one was first arriving to move in, we were greeted at the door by their activities director, the nursing staff and the head of marketing. They were so excited for welcome our loved one and they stuck around with us throughout the day. The staff no matter who you talk to knows everything about our loved one and everything she does on a day to day basis. They are so engaged with the residents and are just on top of everything. They are very accessible, whenever we call there is always someone there to grab the phone. If we have a question that they do not know the answer to they will get back to us right away with the person who does so they are very communicative. We are happy to recommend this community to anyone.

Staff has been going through a great amount of turnover. Overall they work and adapt and with limited staff to handle all our needs. Always quite active and many options with trips outside of Magnolia Springs Lexington included. Crossword puzzles and Exercise, but some limitations due to Covid. They have safe and great community.
