I had a pretty good tour of this community. The staff was kind, and friendly. From what I saw the community looked nice. It was a nice tour, but I didn't feel this was the community for my parents, and their needs.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. I toured it for my mother and her needs. Everything went well, and I was satisfied with my tour. The community looked clean. From what I saw everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff was nice and friendly. It was a good experience.

I toured this community for my mother and her needs, and everything went pretty well. It is a nice community with friendly people. From what I saw everything looked nice and neat. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. It was a pleasant experience, and I enjoyed my tour of this community.

My only complaint is the food is horrible for what they pay and I don't think the dinning staff and cooks are managed right, ever since that one lady cook quit like 5 or 6 months ago that place has went down hill. The staff in the kitchen and dining room always have a bad attitude and they are not very clean. I had lunch with my mom and I seen a male cook serving with gloves on and in one hand he was talking on his phone with gloves on, that's nasty and one of the lady cooks always looks dirty that's very poor hygiene, I don't know her name but she's a big tall lady. Also one day I was sitting with my mom and.the dinning room director was yelling at one of the servers and when she seen me I smiled at her and said hello and she gave me a dirty look and didn't say a word, to me that's very ignorant and If you want to improve your facility she should not be in an upper management. Just so you know I don't remember her name but I do know she is a lead caregiver and she is a great success for your facility, I don't see her do a whole lot because I'm not with my mom all day but when I do see her she always has so much passion. She is always helping and I've also seen her with a resident that was upset and she calmed her down and made her smile, to me that is passion. She is an angel to fox knoll. MY mother told me if any resident asked her for somthing she would drop everything she's doing to help them. That's the kind of people we need everywhere. I also wanted to tell you there also is a full time caregiver on the morning shift that is an amazing worker she is tall with red hair and she's probably around the age 40. Also a 2nd shift cargiver named Jackie is really good. Also a nurse named joclyn is really good, she always has an answer for everything and is very professional. Director of nursing is also amazing and the activity lady's are amazing as well. I've notice the maitnance manager is not very professional, I seen him flirting with a younger caregiver which was gind of ackward. This place needs improvement but I would still recommend any one.

It would be hard for me to rate it because my mom refused to go there. Jaime was very nice, she did a nice job and everything, she showed her around and was trying to talk to her but in the end she didn't sign. We liked it and we liked Jaime and the people seemed nice, we saw some of the staff, but mostly the residents, none of them are really elated about it, most of them are looking sad and wanting out.

It's a nursing home and it's reall dark, gloomy and dreary looking. The location would have been very convenient for us but the staff was older. The place was a dreary, glum looking green color and the furniture was dark and some of it was delapidated looking. The place looked clean but it was just not very warm and friendly.

When we visited this community we were stuck in the elevator for over 5 minutes. The young lady giving us the tour was telling us the maintenance people had just checked them and they were in good working order but we ended up getting stuck. This community reminded me of an old hospital and had the feeling of coming to visit someone in the hospital. We were just not impressed, nothing really popped out to us.

More of a nursing home feel

We were not very impressed. It was dark and gray and chaotic.

The food is dreadful and deplorable. The biggest problem is the food. The meat is overcooked or undercooked, and the veggies are overcooked. My loved one has not partcipated in any activities. There is a handful of people who are helpful. The residents are nice. There was no hot water for a few days. They are understaffed, and on their third Executive Director. They have a lot of features in the building, that are pleasant.

We pciked this community because it was recommended. After a frustrating first 6 six weeks with slow progress and resolution we moved my lovedone out. They were working on improvements when my loved one moved out. As I said initially, they were really in a state of flux with old staff leaving or having been let go and many of her new resident needs not having been met. Hopefully they've worked that all out, but my loved one wasn't willing to wait and find out if it would improve.

They were one of the few places in the area that did have a specific memory care facility. But their prices were increasing, and they would have bee considerably more a month than the place we chose. Yet they offered a fraction of what the place we chose did. And the facility was also more dated. I just didn’t feel their facility was as equipped to deal with memory care. And it felt more like a nursing home vs. the home-like feeling we were looking for.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one fell and it was not handled well by the care staff and management. The doctor told the staff to do it one way and I believe the nurses should have suggested another way to assist my loved one's care. The staff were good to work with if I had questions or concerns up until the accident.

They have moved our family member 5 times over the last 2 years. Seems disruptive and unkind for patients. We were also under the impression that this was a end of life facility but apparently it is not.

I would advise people to look elsewhere. There are other facilities in the area that do a better job. The food was not palatable, and my husband was left to just watch TV. When we need to move him out we were not given any time we had to do it in one day.

When i first moved in everyone was very friendly, but after awhile the staff became less friendly and more about business. Some activities they had were trivia, arts and crafts year long, and during the holidays like Christmas and Easter they would have sing a longs. The food they served was okay, it would be about a three out of five.

Good care but terrible food. Charge for everything . Plan on a very expensive care for a mediocre facility.

My concern with this community was that they have strange meals hours. When we realized that I did not think this was the community for my mother, and her needs.

My wheelchair bound friend and guardian for, whom I visited 2-3x/ wk, resided here for 4 yrs. The last 3 months of my friends life, I feel, was unacceptable negligence. She had 1-2 UTI's/yr, 3 UTI's her final year with the last one getting infections from the antibiotics. She complained for weeks that her behind hurt. She developed a blood clot, had lost her appetite and was eventually bedridden. Hospice was called in the final 2 weeks before her death. At this point she was put on morphine. She would scream every time her pads had to be changed so I requested to see why her behind was so sore. I couldn't believe what I saw! Severe bed sores as well as heel sores. It was passed on to me as "Kennedy Ulcers" by the facility. Kennedy ulcers cause death within 24 hrs. Decubitus is strictly neglect. Hence, she complained for weeks about being sore. I would not recommend this facility!

Our first three days here were horrible. There was a lady across the hallwho jsut kept crying and cyring and crying. They said "she does that all the time" and ignored her but she was on the floor and had been the whole time. I took it upon myself to go over there and went down to the desk to tell them the lady was on the floor; the man in the room with my husband had been waiting 20 minutes for someone to come when he pushed the button and when my husband fell out of his wheelchair, it took them 20 minutes to come and I had to go to the head nurses station to get somebody and the nurses aid who came was bad mouthing the whole time. The lack of caring and compassion....those people should not be working with these patients. This was supposed to be an area for people who've suffered a stroke and they deserve some extra compassion.
