I would say it's a warm, welcoming place with a caring staff, and that socialization is encouraged.

Once she moved into the full time medical facility in the basement the staff was not helpful / gave her the wrong meds / never able to answer questions and the room was absolutely disgraceful. Stains on the wall and floor. Looked like an abandoned hospital from the 70s.

I would recommend Juniper Village at Paramus to others, for sure. The staff was great. I never ate there, but Mom was not a big fan of the food. Its hard to cook low fat low sodium.

Great receptionists! Clean. Nice Apts. Good variety of food. However activities need improvement. Terrible map of premises. Food/snacks not always available. It's the best place in Kerrville. I love most of the people I have met there. It's safe, and I don't have to worry about my mom and her surroundings. It's close to stores and medical facilities.

Most are very helpful, although somethings are said in a way that can be misleading. I'm kept basically well informed of any changes. The move went very well and she adjusted to fitting in realistically easy. What I have eaten the food is good. I believe I would recommend this facility to others because they have a dentist and message therapist come to the home, which really good. They also have some different entertainment for the residents.

The staff is very kind and friendly. Juniper administration expects that from staff and is onsite to ensure that they are. The administrator is very available to families. Juniper is very clean and move in is easy as the staff there help. My loved one there is not too keen on the food, but that is her opinion. I think they can be more transparent about costs and how those fees are determined, especially level of care. I recommend the place since it is one of the better in our area.

The front office staff at Juniper Village at Spicewood Summit is friendly and calm The care staff nursing is great, but some of the day to day care staff do not perform up to expected standards with brief changes. For example: 2 different staff member occurrences within 7 months. Families have to check in often and follow up with the Assisted Living Director to get these issues taken care of to improve care taker quality. Families need to advocate for their elder often. Don't expect to just visit once a week, you need to be there often to ensure proper care of elder occurs.

The staff is lovely. They are kind and helpful and competent. The facility is cheerful and they do a great job decorating for the season and holidays. Housekeeping does a nice job keeping things clean. My family member enjoys the meals and likes that there are lots of choices. I wish there were more opportunities for residents to go out and do things. We have not seen that so far, perhaps because it's winter. Hoping that happens in spring. The activity person is only part time. Some of the activities that are scheduled with outside people end up getting canceled.

The staff has been very accommodating, especially regarding food - which is always an issue for my brother (4 in that category from him is good). I would recommend Juniper Village at Brookline to others.

Dad liked the facility , front office staff and location. The nursing staff was thorough and professional. The care takers took long to respond to call button, so this was a concern for dad.

Staff are friendly and have been working at Juniper Village for many years. The facility is clean and smells clean. Communication with the family is very good. Tell family that if their loved one orders meals to their room, there is a charge. The food is very tasty. We would recommend this facility to others.

The experience of Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights for us has been good. The facility is newly renovated and beautiful. The housekeeping is good. We came from a place that smelled every time I went into my loved one's room. His room at Juniper Village doesn't smell. The floor is clean. The staff is good. I wish they had a few more people on the floor taking care of the residents. That is a hard job and they can't always get to my loved one as fast as he would like for them to. The move in process was good. The meals are great, my loved one enjoys his meals there. I would recommend Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights to anyone.

Juniper Village at Bucks County is a very clean place and staff was friendly. [name removed] (marketing) went out of her way to assist. She was very kind. My father in law did not care for the food (not sure what in particular)

Like people everywhere, the staff varies greatly. The on call staff nurse and emergency crew have always gone above and beyond for any issues that may arise. I would definitely recommend Juniper Village at Bucks County to other families looking. Another thing we have been very impressed with is the community of residents that live there, they are great!

Very kind and caring staff, but not trained as properly as we'd prefer. Normally very understaffed. Some very good people but overworked.

Juniper Village was similar to another community we toured. The staff were great to work with. The location was a little further from family than we wanted.

It's great, [name removed] loves it. They have a scratch kitchen an food is delish. Activities are the best. They have the usual bingo, Pokino and karaoke Last week they had a spelling bee. She came in 2nd. They have comedy night and art exhibits. Entertainment is great at least twice a week. I even perform there. The place is kept clean and they do her laundry once a week and clean her room and change the sheets. They have PT and exercise. The only thing missing is a nursing staff and a more hands-on staff to make sure she takes a shower and takes her pills sometimes. It's a nice small community and easy to get around. You don't get lost. The atmosphere is pleasant. The other thing is it is very expensive. 7100 for 1 bedroom plus 1850 for add ons.

This facility had been very good so far, overall. My experience with the staff has been good. The food is good, I've had some of the meals and really liked them. They offer a good variety of activities. The Activities Director is really great about encouraging the residents to participate. I do wish we'd be more informed about changes in medication, I'd appreciate more communication in that respect. But overall, my loved one seems to get plenty of attention and care. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

The staff always seems to be soft spoken and calm, creating a calming affect and atmosphere. They understand dementia and how to approach people with dementia. Good at knowing how to avoid upsetting the residents and at how to guide/slide the resident into doing important things. No or few activities, no " enrichment program" except for church services. This may be better lately- finally hired a new activities person. The residents do eat the food and it tastes ok but it's far from healthy. Meat is in the form of patties (who knows what's in them). Vegetables overcooked, or maybe canned. Regularly the vegetable/fruit served is the old fashioned canned fruit cocktail. During my visits, I've never seen a fresh fruit or vegetable. Nor salad. The resident's rooms can be a bit of a mess, though of course, the residents may be the main cause of this. A 1-2 minute visit by staff per day could address this (ex garbage on floor). Did a great job getting her ready for me to take her to an early eye doctor appt. Sometimes the staff doesn't answer my emails. Overall, I feel my family member is safe, warm, being fed. Has made friends! I will have her stay there. But for price, there are things that could and should be improved.
