I have lived in independent living at La Posada for over four years now. I am completely happy here. The staff is amazing, the dining wonderful, the facility gorgeous, lots of activities of all kinds, you can be as busy or not as you please. I have made lots of wonderful friends and enjoy my time with them. My family visits and agree it’s a lovely place. [name removed]

They actually had gotten hired from Cedarwood at Sandy, so have had a great experience with the facility and my aunt is also loving her experience here.

My mom lived at the fountains for 4-1/2 yrs, but recently passed, I would like to be included in the review if that's possible

The Fountains was a good move for me. The staff is friendly. Everyone tries to make my day great. I’m so happy my dogs were able to make the move with me. The dining room is pleasant. The food is wonderful. Plenty of choices.

The staff at The Fountains are always caring and sensitive to the residents needs and wants. They don't just act this way. They sincerely feel this for the residents.

Since my mother moved into The Fountains of Melbourne she has been welcomed by their staff and community. When we attended the new resident orientation in her apartment she was asked by the staff member to circle the three events she planned on attending her first week there. Mother has been an introvert forever but she felt it was part of the resident agreement to participate so she circled her favorites. She immediately became immersed and continues today! She’s made friends and thanks me for finding her a wonderful place to call home!

We were so fortunate to find the fountains for our mom. She loves it here and everyone is so kind to her. Keep up the great work you guys are doing.

The experience at the Fountains is outstanding. The staff could not be more helpful or cooperative, nor provide any better environment to celebrate being here on a daily basis. There is room for improvement in the dining area. Breakfast if nigh on perfect with good choices and excellent cooking. Lunch and Dinner would be improved with a little faster service, if possible, and I know it isn't easy to have meal time last from 4-7 and be consistent but more attention is needed in that area. I think Balfour is a fabulous community and allows both of my parents to receive the different levels of support they need while still getting to be with each other each day. It is a beautiful facility that is pleasant to be in and I think the staff truly care about the residents and their well-being.

[name removed], the person we worked with went way above and beyond working with my in-laws to get them a place they were happy with. She has been so caring, helpful and responsive throughout the process, and continues to be. It's a warm friendly community. Wonderful peace of mind!

Park Terrace an excellent facility, I think the staff members really care about the residents. My mom had a health issue within the first week and a staff member immediately took care of the situation and called an ambulance. They are really on top of what's going on with their residents. The feel of the place is very homey and welcoming; and you notice that the moment you walk in.

Abbotswood at Irving Park was actually our first choice out of all of the places we looked at. We loved the facility and the staff. The other facility we were choosing between was able to give us a deal and cut the price for the first few months of rent which is why we went with them - they were not able to match the deal here.

We chose Heritage Greens because they were able to cut us a deal on the price in the first few months. She started off in assisted living and very quickly transitioned to memory care. The experience in memory care has been a lot better than it was in assisted living - the staff over there were not as willing to help. The aids in memory care have been a lot more helpful and she is doing very well. I would most definitely recommend them to others.

It's a top notch facility.

This place is super clean and they have great food. They have lots of activities like exercise class, bowling, bingo, black jack, chair volleyball (which my mom likes), bocce ball, and painting - amongst a lot of other things. My mom does a lot better with the activities as she enjoys them. Her apartment is spacious with a really nice kitchen that came well equipped. The community offers transportation to appointments and a weekly store run. The residents also go on outings and scenery drives. In my opinion, Emerald Court compared to other places I've been to and toured in the past, is superior to anywhere else. I would recommend Emerald Place to others.

I toured Balfour Ann Arbor and it was a very gorgeous, but fancy place. They had a lot of activities and a lot of fun things going on. I loved the guy there, he had an interest in my dad and what he did for a living. We talked about a lot of different things. Because of how fancy Balfour is, you'd have to be very cognitive and active to enjoy the things they have there - the wine list, the pool, etc.. It's a great community for active seniors, but my mom needs more care than she needs amenities. Most of the things she'd be paying for would be wasted. It wasn't the right fit because my mom was already past the level of care I think they could provide.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was great . The lady we spoke with [name removed] was so impressive to work with, she was very helpful and thorough throughout the tour we were very pleased with her presentation. We noticed on the tour there are a lot of couples here which is great, but it may work out better for a "younger crowd" we thought our loved one would feel a little lost there. It looks like a really great facility though, we just did not like their meal set up. One meal was included and if you wanted additional meals they were add ons.

We are absolutely thrilled, I would rate them 10 out of 5 stars on all of the categories listed above. The friendliness of the staff and the residents as well is just amazing. On mothers day my loved one was having tv issues and I was there for 5 hours and I left with my face hurting because I was smiling so much. Everyone is always so positive and upbeat and to me that really says a lot - especially when the residents are that happy. I like that it is a bigger facility because there is so much going on and our loved one is able to socialize more. We always say it feels like a cruise ship, they give you a daily calendar and you can be busy all day long if you want to. I would absolutely recommend Sagewood at Daybreak to other families.
