So far so good. She is really happy, she loves the people and she loves the food. She is participating in most of the activities, and they try really hard to get people involved. No troubles with billing so far, but it's still new.

We chose Methuen Village. I am very happy with them, I think they are great! I would rate them very highly. They do a wonderful job. The staff is friendly, and it's clean. I don't have any complaints so far.

It will definitely be Methuen Village, if and when the time comes. Liz the contact person has been wonderful. I would highly recommend this place, it's newer, and even less expensive than most, and we looked at a few different places.

Staff at Methuen Village is friendly and very well trained in handling the sometimes difficult situations that can arise with the memory impaired individual. The activities are wonderful and the staff encourages all to participate. I couldn't be happier with our family's choice of Methuen Village.

It was a wonderful community with a thoughtful program. We were so impressed with the options available. They were compassionate, sensible people. They are able to accommodate peoples protections, vulnerability, and medical needs. They are able to preserve peoples independence and dignity. The person we met with, Alisha, was very patient. They have everything from total independence to total supervision. The only downside is that the assisted living portion is a little out of our price range.

Armbrook was a significant distance out of town, and there are no places a resident might visit by walking. Stark exterior, but very nice inside. The one bedroom was very spacious and quite comfortable. The studio was nicely sized and did not feel cramped. Menu was very nice, and the diet was well organized. With only two meals a day available, this seems a limitation. There were

We've had a great experience with Cornerstone at Milford so far. The staff have all been very friendly and professional, and during our search they provided a lot of useful information. Everyone at the community seems well taken care of and comfortable. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they even do a good job with the food! It is a nice place overall, and I would recommend it to others looking in the area.

friendly and supportive Wonderful environment

My father in law has been at Compass on the Bay for a bit over a year. IT was not an easy decision to place his in a care facility, as he is getting up in age and needs some assistance with day to day living, but is also independent. At Compass on the Bay, they encourage him to exercise, socialize and do as much for himself as possible, but are also there is assist for anything. The activities are a bit hit or miss, as they have to appeal to the whole group, but he does enjoy the daily exercise, the social gathering and of course, meal time. We are very pleased with the staff and care, they are like an extended family! The facility is beautiful, with a beautiful porch and view of the bay, and it really does have a "home like" feel - and doesn't feel like an institution at all. It is very sad when a loved one needs more care than you can provide, but we really feel like we made the right choice with Compass on the Bay.

Over all it’s a very good place. The food is great. There is an outside area. I’ve never had any trouble finding parking. I can’t imagine it being much better than this, so we didn’t really look at any other communities.

I find their use of the term Mediterranean diet isn't exactly accurate, it's healthy but not Mediterranean. Maybe modified Mediterranean would be more accurate. We chose them primarily on location and price, but also the friendliness and approach of the executive staff. I also like the affiliation with the Boston University School of Medicine Alzheimer Disease Center.

We are very happy with this community. It's very clean. It's a brand new community and they are still learning but they are well put together. The girls are nice, but everyone is nice. They are very easy to work with. The residents all seem very happy. They do a good job with activities. The food is very nice and they have nice table settings. The courtyard is really nice too. And if you mention that you came in because of my review (Don W.), let them know and I sent you! ;)

They are doing a pretty good job. I don't have any complaints, the only things I can come up with would be petty. I like their connection to Boston University. I liked that everyone was happy, and the warm cozy feeling I got. I liked how they seemed genuinely caring.

The food is excellent. They have a lot of activities but I think they need a few more things geared toward the men. I liked it when I toured because, it was very new, and clean, and I liked the way the staff really went out of their way for my dad. I did like the range of activities and things that they offered.

So far we've been very pleased with the service here! It was a big decision for our loved one to decide to move in to a community, and he was very against it at first. After visiting he selected this place, and so far seems to be doing great! He's really been enjoying the food.

Things are going very well for our loved one here! She's still mentally on the ball, and they've got a lot of things for her to do here. She's engaging with the other residents and smiling and laughing with them! She treats all the staff very well, and they treat her well in return! She's not crazy about the dinner selection, though. She is in the nicest room, too! She has views of the bay, and when the weather gets nice, she will be able to see all the bicyclists and dog walkers outside. Most importantly, she came from a big community where it was easy to get overwhelmed and lock herself in her room. Now that she's in a smaller setting, she's able to join in on the activities, like exercises, BINGO, and sing-a-longs, and is able to interact more with others! We've seen a real improvement since she's moved here!

Our initial contact with the community was Lindsay Willis. Exec. Dir. I doubt a more warm, caring, compassionate person exists in this universe--or any other. Care for our memory-impaired, elderly mother was expected. We got that and so much more. Lindsay has shown empathy, too, for family members, sincerely concerned with our well-being, also. A decision to place a loved one in the care of Ms. Willis & her staff would be a wise investment, both in terms of the dedicated care your family member would receive as well as the support offered to families unable to provide the necessary care, support, safety needed by one immersed in the depths of the Alzheimer's abyss.

I can't say enough good things about them. They bent over backwards to help us. They had everybody out trying to help us. They worked very hard to make her comfortable, and worked with us to keep the room available when things went differently than planned.

It was really good. It was the second time my mom had been there so we're hoping that whenever we do need some respite that she'll be able to go back there. They're very nice there and she seems to be very at home there. They do a lot of activities and the food is good and they really keep an eye on her so we're very happy with them. We're probably thinking of using them again at the end of February. Mom was at another place for respite and this is not quite as big as that place so it's easier for her to get around. They always go get her for anything that's happening anyway but it's not quite as overwhelming for her. We're very happy with Methuen Village.

My parents are both in assisted living. They do lot of theme nights for food and entertainment. They also have bingo and movies. My parents don't do all the activities, but they do a few. I wish they would do more. They seem to like the food. They are getting medication help, and my mom gets help showering. They do their housekeeping and escort them down to the dining room. We chose this community because they wanted to stay close to their doctors and their home town.
