I'm hopefully going to take my aunt by Silver Ridge tomorrow afternoon sometime. I like this place the best, but need to show her, of course.

Mom's new home

Met with the Director and owner of home. Fully impressed with homes and service. I saw all three homes listed below and liked them in this order: 1)Lavendale, 2) Royal, 3) Spanky. Would probably not consider Spanky, but I LOVED Lavendale. Favorite so far.

Lexington Place was quite helpful in helping us understand the kind of assisted care we would need and how to assess facilities. We will not be able to use the Residential Care providers listed because of the level of care needed. Your service was invaluable in providing resources and education for our relative. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the tour of this facility. It will be the place we choose when the timing is right.

The care is second to none! [name removed] and her team give all of themselves to the residents. [name removed] is a welcomed change from other communities we have been in.

Lake Point was there for my mom when nobody else was. Due to trach and feeding tube needs my options were zero - until I found Lake Point. Everyone there was so welcoming and the care my mother has received was second to none. They made both of our experiences a pleasure.

I would strongly recommend Lake Point to anyone looking for the cream of the crop.

My grandfather was at Lake Point for several months. He initially was not in great condition at the time of move in. However, with the care and attention [name removed] and the staff gave to him he was able to recover to the point of being able to return home.

Finding care for my husband that required a feeding tube was very difficult. I am so grateful I found Lake Point. They have met and exceeded all of my expectations. [Name removed] and her caregivers are a blessing for us both.

My husband required a very high level of care. I was faced with the option of moving him into a nursing home which I really didn't want to do. When I found out about Lake Point it was a godsend. He was able to get all of his skilled care needs met while still maintaining his dignity in a residential environment. I would strongly recommend Lake Point in lieu of a SNF or nursing home.

It starts with a good owner and that transcends down to the entire staff. They are very caring and great with the patients as well as their families. I highly recommend Avendelle Royal.

The caregivers are excellent. The owners of the home visit often as they have a loved one living there. They have caregivers there twenty four hours a day to care for the residents. The food is ok and the home is very clean and well maintained. I would recommend looking into this care home to see if it would work for your loved one.

The staff have been patient with my dad since my parents moved into Lexington Place. They do not seem bothered by my dad's wondering. My mom is in better spirits. I believe the staff are qualified to take care of my parents. They seem to generally like the food. A Place for Mom was a good service for us.

Our father lived at Hunt Leigh Care Homes for 7 months. We could not have asked for better care. The caregivers truly have a gift from God in taking care of the elderly. I would recommend Hunt Leigh Care Homes over any facility.

I visited Lexington Place 6/16/15, when I saw a friend that is staying there. The place was very impressive. It's a huge home and well maintained. The backyard has a nice covered gazebo with chairs and has a calm and peaceful effect. The rooms are large with a private bath. My friend there is very happy. She moved out of another facility that was not taking proper care of her. We enjoyed her room, which her family was able to customize for her. The staff were very friendly and attentive. But what I noticed more than anything is that it's a very calm and peaceful place. My friend also has 3 windows in her room, which bring in sunlight and the outdoors. It's a huge improvement over the last place where she stayed. She is very happy there and that says it all.

We're very pleased with it. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. They keep you informed to update you on your loved one. We're very happy with the facility. It's very clean. The staff is very nice.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the homelike environment! It was nice to find a place where the residents were watching TV or playing Bingo together and had not isolated themselves in their rooms. I visited for several hours every day, so I met every worker and they were all encouraging, welcoming and friendly to the residents. An example - one day a resident was going on a outing with her family and staff members were excited, painting her fingernails, applying makeup and fixing her hair. The staff also performed an invaluable service - on days when the physical therapist wasn't there, they helped Dad with therapy exercises. One small issue that is probably unique to our family -- my Dad avoids bread/sandwiches and that was often the evening meal. (The residents eat their heavier meal at lunch.) This was a minor issue and I never brought it to their attention. If I had, or if Dad lived there permanently I'm sure they would accomodate his preferences. My Dad lived there for a couple of weeks and then was able to come home. When he needs permanent placement I'll definitely place him here.
