Spring Arbor Senior Living

Patti Knicely gave an informative tour, addressed my concerns and displayed a true caring spirit. I was very impressed with the memory care area and facility. Only concern is how Dad will respond to the likelihood of having a roommate.

I am very impressed with Brookdale this is a wonderful community. My father and step mother are doing amazing here and they seem happy. The staff is courteous and helpful and very attentive to my parents. The facility is amazing and very clean well maintained. My parents enjoy the food and my stepmother state of mind has improved since they moved here. It has been a wonderful experience for us and I would highly recommend this community.

We moved my mother-in-law to Windsor Manor two weeks ago and both she and her family are happy with every aspect of the place.

It had a very nice, homey atmosphere rather than a facility feel. The people were given whatever they wanted for breakfast. Just the atmosphere of the place was very friendly. I would highly recommend them. I was very pleased to have my mother there, I felt very secure.

We don't really have any concerns at this point. The cost is always an issue, for the whole industry, but they were comparable to others in the area that offer similar services. The outside ambiance of the facility was more naturalistic, and we really liked that.

My wife was in Spring Arbor for only 3 days before she passed on. I could tell by those days that this is a really caring community and the staff is dedicated to the residents. The food is outstanding and the dining experience is well organized. They do not have enough staff to cover the residents there. If I feel the need for a community in the future this would be the one for me!

We toured this community. Overall we felt that it was homey and pretty clean. The staff seemed to be pleasant and responsive, and they seemed to have a lot of activities for the residents. Overall we thought it was excellent, and would probably be a good fit for our loved ones.

It's just been absolutely awesome, we are just thrilled. Everyone is ever so helpful, he has settled so well, we are so happy. We had lunch last week it was fabulous. We were so impressed with them, we didn't even look anywhere else. He is very content and very happy, getting along with all the staff.

We are pretty happy with it. We chose this community because the knowledge and expertise of their leasing manager was just outstanding. We also liked the location and the setting with the woods and the lake.

They are doing great, they are happy with the community. I don't have any complaints about anything.

Lisa very nice. Did not visit location as the starting rate would be $3875. She did recommend we try their sister organization Hawthorne Inn - however she does not think they have any openings at the moment.

The staff are all very friendly, but there's been a lot of turnover. It's a brand new facility that opened in 2013, so it seemed like they were working out the bugs for a while. It was a little rough at first, but hopefully the new directors will stay! Consistency of staffing is important for the elderly, so hopefully that will happen soon! Other than that, it's a beautiful place! The rooms are big enough to fit furniture! The dining room is lovely and the food is good! Also, they have all sorts of activities and I've seen them actually happen!

This was a nice community, it was clean, and the people were really nice too. It seemed like it was more active than a lot of the communities I visited. I don't know if they actually had more activities, or if it just looked that way, but it gave it a nice feel.

We choose the Emeritus because it had everything we where looking for in an assisted living facility, including a good price. The one downside is the two bedrooms are configured strangely, but we got one that was modified, so it will work out wonderfully.

Mary Jass, the rental agent was so helpful and sensitive while helping us. The building is beautiful and everyone is friendly. The food in the dining room was also very good.

Very impressive..staff friendly and informative. Patients seem happy and productive. Clean, odor-free (newly opened), homey. Gazebo and safe "outside" area for patients. Good security. All staff (hands-on as well as cleaning) trained with some ALZ classes.

Brand new property, very nice sized rooms, 1 to 5 ratio as compared to states requirement of 1 to 8. Very nice grounds.

Mom seems to likes the food. Overall, the staff is good and caring. The rooms could use more updating. It would be nice if mom could have more outings, in which she can interact and be more independent.

We chose Spring Arbor because it was all on one level which was important to us since she would be using a wheelchair or walker. Then when we met the administrator and the head nurse, we just really liked the way they communicated. The room size is great, she has the smallest one which is a studio and for her it is more than adequate. We always say that a facility can only be as good as their lowest level employee, I think if they were paid more, some of the aids would care more and that is for any facility, not just this one. Overall I would absolutely recommend to other families who are looking.
