Mother doesn’t always know us or who is doing the visiting but when we visit her in Colonial Oaks she says “You have a very nice home.” Not only is the environment clean and homelike but she’s so well cared for. Her hair and skin are lovely. I also appreciate that under pandemic conditions she is secure and they work with us on flexible visitation. Our thanks to all the staff.

I have nothing but excellent things to say regarding this memory care facility. [name removed] went above and beyond to see that my dad was placed for a respite stay. Weeks later, my mom passed away and I wouldn't want my dad anywhere else. {name removed} the director is passionate regarding all aspects of senior living. Our father, who Alzheimer's, recently moved into Colonial Oaks Braeswood from Florida. Our mother has passed away and we needed to quickly find a place for him to be near us in Houston. They were immediately accommodating. Answering all of us our questions, providing a virtual tour, and above all being understanding and thoughtful throughout the process of selecting the senior home that would be the best fit for our father. We are incredibly happy and thankful we made the decision to bring him to Colonial Oaks. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, caring. They engage with our father and have made him feel at home. We have peace of mind knowing he is safe and enjoy seeing him as well as the friendly staff when we visit.

My 93 year old mom moved here about 4 months ago. The entire staff is fantastic. They are caring and very attentive to the needs of my mother. All the employees go out of their way to ensure she is taken care of. The staff nurse is top notch along with the employees who deliver the medications. The cafeteria staff go out of their way to ensure my mom gets excellent meals. The maintenance staff ensured she had a smooth move-in. I am glad my mother picked Colonial Oaks.

Colonial Oaks is a very warm and inviting community. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The director is excellent and goes out of her way to help you with any problem you may have.

The selling staff that we have met so far are friendly, respectful, caring and kind and the entire staff seem to really care about the residents. Very impressed with the service. The rooms are great. They offered around the clock personal assistance, amenities, and activities. Such a wonderful place for the elderly that require care in a nursing home. Great and safe place, I highly recommend it.

I honestly thought this community would be just like the others, just “another” community luring you in to eat your money but they weren’t. The staff really cares about its residents and honestly made my family and I feel welcomed. I really appreciate all the staff’s helps. I would definitely recommend this community for anyone looking to feel like they’re “home”.

It's been a positive experience to date. It was an easy transition. Everybody was very helpful, and they go over and above. They have exceeded my expectations. My loved one seems to enjoy the food, and there are plenty of activities. His is a smaller apartment (although they have a selection of different sizes to choose from), but it's the perfect size for him. I like that they have continuing levels of care, so if something were to happen to him later on, we won't be scrambling to find a place for him. That gives me peace of mind.

Colonial Oaks Braeswood has been such a huge blessing to our family. We were struggling with finding the right fit/great place for Mom (after a not great experience elsewhere), and then Colonial Oaks Braeswood was recommended to us by several people. From our first meeting, [name removed] met me with warmth, understanding and kindness, and made such a stressful and hard time easier. [Name removed] and the amazing activities director [name removed], and staff have continued to be wonderful and caring to Mom (and me!!). The staff at Colonial Oaks provides the personal, individualized attention our loved ones need to thrive. Mom has actually improved incredibly with their attention and care. This is a very friendly place. It is a community, and easy to make friends there. It is in an older building, and not fancy. This isn't upscale at all. They have some activities for the residents and are trying to get them back up after COVID. Northglenn Heights is good at protecting the residents with their COVID protocols.

Everybody was very friendly to our loved one and family, they did take really good care of him and the community was kept really clean. Anytime any issue or a concern came up they called us right away which is something we really appreciated.

We chose Colonial Oaks because of the convenient location to our house and also the apartment sizes here are a lot bigger. We were able to get almost all of his furniture that he had from his last apartment into his 1 bedroom here. They have a nurse on staff 24/7 which gives us great peace of mind. I would recommend to others looking.

My loved one lived here for a while and had a great experience, this is a really great facility. It ended up getting too expensive and my loved one needed more care.

We chose Stone Valley because of the value for the money, that was the biggest factor, they were significantly cheaper than others that we looked into. They have a handful of staff members here who were really kind and caring to their residents and I was impressed, they treated them like they were their own family. I would absolutely recommend.

Caring staff, I loved the dining room. Very specious. Beautiful out door. Nice activity calendar and everyone was so welcoming. We love Greenfield. They provided fresh cookies after my visit. Such a nice gesture.

We chose Elison Independent Living because the price was right, it was close to her children, and the apartments also had full kitchens in them. The apartment sizes are great, hers is plenty big for what she needs. They have a very nice big pool so that is a big plus. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, sometimes residents lock themselves out and they are always there to help, someone is at the front desk 24/7. I would definitely recommend to others looking.
