After researching many facilities in San Diego, we easily made the decision to place our mom at Silvergate Rancho Bernardo. No doubt, it was the best of the facilities we toured. The well-thought-out design is home-like and easy to navigate. No long hallways with multiple doors nor institution-like layout. It is bright, airy, has high ceilings, beautiful & comfortable furnishings with a resort-like atmosphere. We have peace knowing she will be in a safe, beautiful, serene environment. The attentive skilled care, delicious food, and many activities that target physical, mental & social wellbeing have provided tremendous benefit. The staff are exceptional & that includes everyone: concierges, nurses, caregivers, med techs & administration team. [name removed], Marketing Director was exceedingly helpful & ever-present for us throughout the process. She made all the difference with her support, compassion & guidance. It is a privilege and blessing for our mom to be a resident at Silvergate.

We looked at different facilities and chose Silvergate three years ago. So pleased we did. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The environment is like a five star hotel.. Safety and cleanliness are a priority. We feel confident in the care given when we aren’t there. It is always reassuring when we visit that we, as well as residents, are called by name. I cannot recommend Silvergate highly enough.

We are very fortunate to have found the right Memory Care home for Mom at Silvergate Rancho Bernardo. All of the staff are compassionate and caring. They provide a wide variety of activities for the residents, from crafts, live music, scenic bus rides, to seasonal events that the families can join in. We are impressed with the high level of cleanliness, security, excellent food, and well-maintained grounds. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and compassionate place for their loved one.

We had a wonderful time reviewing the cottages and the apartments really enjoyed the grounds and amenities. Had a wonderful lunch and was able to get a good sense of the community look forward to following up and exploring opportunity to move in in the near future

After my husband passed away a friend suggested I visit Silvergate since it was nearby and I knew people who were living there. To be honest, I wasn't interested in looking at that kind of living arrangement. It felt confining to me. My daughter came with me to meet with the Marketing Coordinator who introduced us to the many amenities and took us into several units which were lovingly showed to us by the residents who lived there. We met several people during our tour and between the incredibly friendly environment and the seemingly endless facilities, we were blown away! we felt like it was a small community with happy, active, open residents living their best lives. I am looking forward to moving there when my new home becomes available.

Silvergate is a great value for seniors. I have been pleased with all the services and assistance I have received here. My little dog button and I enjoy living here. We enjoy all the new friends we have made here as well.

I had been looking at Silvergate for many years, and when I finally moved I am glad I did and wished that I would have moved in here earlier. It is a great place to be, and my family can visit me at any time.

Moving a loved one to an assisted care/independent living/memory care facility is never an easy step for a family to take. At Silvergate in Rancho Bernardo our entire family was treated with an immense amount of genuine kindness, compassion and respect. During our tour of the facility it was apparent that the staff knows each and every resident, and not just because it is their job but because they are very caring individuals. They listened and understood our wants and needs. The staff at Silvergate made a process that is usually filled with fear and dread, a very positive experience. At the end of our tour not only was the fear gone for our Mom but she was very excited about the next chapter of her life at Silvergate.

Our experience has been nothing but excellent, from first look, to tour, to meeting the excellent staff of Silvergate Rancho Bernardo! And , the guests we have met are very friendly! The meals we have enjoyed are superior as well as the serving staff and all people connected with the food service. This is truly the perfect location and facility!

We feel very comfortable with our dad being at Silvergate. The facility far exceeded our expectations! The staff is caring, kind and involved. They are very welcoming when we go to visit our dad. We always feel well informed about how he's doing and what his needs are. The level of care he is receiving is top notch and we could not ask for anything better than that! We are very happy with Silvergate!

My mother moved to Silvergate just over a year ago, and we couldn't be happier with the care and services she receives there! Every person on the staff delivers quality care, and it gives me such peace of mind to know that my mom is in such good hands!

Moving my dad into Silvergate’s Memory Care residence has been wonderful. He is healthier and happier than he was at his home. Silvergate’s staff is very attentive and extremely caring. The caregivers, medication techs, nurses, activities personnel, other staff and management are terrific. Instead of watching TV all day, my dad now participates in arts & crafts, puzzles, games, exercise, conversation and other activities. He enjoys the terrific music entertainers that come in and he looks forward to going on the scenic drives. The living arrangements are wonderful! Spacious yet very home-like, with a beautiful outside patio area. Also the meals are fabulous, made by an in house chef. I can’t begin to express how comforting it is for me that my dad is being lovely cared for at Silvergate.

My close friend moved to Silvergate Fallbrook Retirement Residence 1 1/2 years ago. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of observing the Silvergate lifestyle. Upon entering the building, visitors check-in through a safe and efficient process. During my visits, I’ve been impressed by how much the owners are personally involved, and how much the employees care about the residents. All the buildings and patios are beautifully designed, well maintained, and decorated for each holiday. The property has lovely living and dining rooms, a library, rooms for crafts and private parties, a beauty shop, a store, a wall showcasing photos of residents who have served in the military, beautifully landscaped outside areas, and more. Numerous activities are planned for residents and guests, such as…..onsite exercise sessions, bingo, happy hour, car shows, musical performances, and outings for lunch, dinner, concerts, museums, scenic drive-arounds, etc.

I was tired of caring for a big house and was lonely. This ia a beautiful place to live. I'm glad I could move in after being through several years of being alone. I have many friends here now.There is always some one to talk to or something to do here.

We toured the facility and were surprised at how clean it was and it felt very warm. They did a good job in giving us all the information we needed and all the staff we met were very friendly as well.
