We chose Orchard Valley because they were one of the only facilities we could find that took her level of care. Most places said if she was not somewhat ambulatory they would not be able to take her. The room sizes here are average, she is in a studio. It is an older building so the doorways into the bathrooms aren't meant for people with wheelchairs. I would recommend the facility.

Hello, My mom, [name removed], enjoyed her time at Ashland Farm in North Andover before her passing in November this year. She received exceptional care, and enjoyed her first apartment very much. The staff is very professional and caring and treated her like a family member. I am so grateful for the care that she received there and most especially her most recent time spent in Harbor.

Mom has been at Carriage Green for three years and she is very happy. The staff is so friendly and warm and truly cares about their residents. The community is very cozy and always clean. The residents eat their meals in the dining room that looks into the courtyard. They have many activities including games, crafts, daily social hours, music, movies, etc. I live in another state and the staff always keeps me informed as to what is happening in the Community. I feel so confident that my Mom is being well taken care of. When we visit, we are always welcomed with friendly faces and they all feel like family! I highly recommend Carriage Green to care for your loved ones! With COVID, it has been a very difficult year for nursing homes and assisted living communities. The Carriage Green Team has followed all state protocols and has gone out of their way to keep our loved ones safe and healthy!

I would totally recommend this community to others. This is a true community, and is a smaller community. All the staff know the residents and families. The activities and the atmosphere is upbeat. My loved one is happier than she has been in her whole life. The Falls was able to assist with the transition of our loved one into the community. They have been a resource to us with any questions.

When dad died mom wanted to leave Florida and go back home to CT. I started calling assisted living facilities. The Village gave my husband and me the time and day we requested. When we got to the facility we were screened and then [name removed] came to greet us. [name removed] is very upbeat and obviously likes what she does and where she does it. I had a question sheet and [name removed] took her time answering all of them and giving us further information about South Farms. We were then given a tour of the facility. I was impressed, but this was our first stop of three. After touring the other facility I wrote an email to The Village with some comparisons I had. The Village got back to me immediately and addressed those concerns. Before making a decision I emailed The Village again with more questions. Again they got back to me very quickly with the answers. Mom has now decided to become a resident at South Farms and I continue to have questions and they continue to answer them in a very timely manner! [name removed] likes what she does and is enthusiastic about promoting South Farms but she has never been pushy. The Village continues to help us navigate mom’s journey to residency. I’m expecting The Village will continue to help us make a new home for mom and will make her feel welcome Everyone at South Farms that we met on our tour was pleasant and welcoming

When looking for an assisted living for our dad it was important to us that we find the right “fit”. He was widowed for nearly two years and was starting to need more support than we were able to provide. The decision was not an easy one and we toured numerous communities. We immediately felt at home at Benchmark. The staff were welcoming and kind and the lunch we shared with him was delicious. Our dad made friends and participated in many activities. He invited friends to come and visit in his new home. We were all delighted with our decision. We had no idea what March 2020 would bring so we were grateful that Benchmark communicated the health requirements required for Covid 19. We were blessed that they kept the residents safe and healthy. They followed safety protocols and were always available for a call or email with questions or concerns. Highly recommend Benchmark at Split Rock.

We chose Carriage Green because it was a very nice looking facility with a great atmosphere, the location was great, and it was reasonably priced. They do offer a lot of activities even during COVID, but my loved one does not participate in these. The best part about the community is the care that she receives. Overall, I would recommend this community.

The staff members at this community are great, through the COVID virus they have implemented a lot of things to keep the residents safe and healthy. There has only been two confirmed cases at this community, one coming from a staff member and the other coming from a resident. Overall they have done very well. Our loved one is in memory care which is pretty expensive, however he gets great care around the clock, and they do offer a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.

The staff is great, they are very caring and have a lot of patience, if i could give them a 10 out of 10 stars i would. This community is a little on the pricey side but the care services are exceptional. COVID has affected the activities somewhat, the first four months they were completely shut down. Now they are doing fitness classes, a bunch of arts and crafts, as well as cooking and gardening classes. They play a lot of different word games to try and help stimulate the mind. The residents also get to play bingo and listen to live musicians who are now playing outside. The staff has done a great job keeping the residents active and engaged during this time. We have eaten there a couple of times and the food was always very fresh. They are very accommodating to our loved ones dietary restrictions. This community is very high end, exceptionally clean. We really liked how it have a more upscale vibe to it, the decor and space are very nice.

The Birches community is exceptionally clean, the staff is absolutely wonderful. We definitely feel that we are getting our moneys worth. What really stood out to us when we first visited was how kind the staff was. We were very impressed with everything they had to offer and they answered every single question we asked them. We are so happy with this community. The care services are fantastic you couldn't ask for any better. They take the residents out on little outings to Concord, and if they aren't about to go out then they have plenty of board games for the residents, and movie nights. They even bring in live entertainment to play the piano, they even bring in dogs to play with the residents. The staff does a great job with keeping everyone busy, We have not eaten there ourselves but our loved one loves the food. They have thanksgiving dinner in which you can bring in your families to eat with you. I'ts just really unbelievable.

Our loved one was only there for a short time but during that time this community was kept very clean. The communication with the nursing staff was a bit disjointed. It was pretty good value compared to other communities in the surrounding area. They offer a lot of care services, but we felt that we had to remind them to do certain services our loved one needed like giving them their medication or helping with their laundry.

I would recommend it. I think they have handled the COVID thing really well. They have kept the residents engaged. Overall it is a very loving environment. They have done supervised distance walks, small group bingo, and games, and they had someone to going into the residents rooms during COVID with an activities cart. They have done virtual visits. They are now allowing outside visits, and we are getting to slowly go back into the rooms for visits with the residents with masks on.

The activities score is based on normal, during COVID it would be a rating of a 2 stars. It is very nice it is a group that isn't too big. There are only about 45 people in assisted living, and 35 in memory care. It is a great location. I looked at a bunch of other communities and this was the best around. They are part of a larger part of a corporate office, and if the Federal Government doesn't change the rules they will kill more residents because of the unknown liability issues due to the Federal Government guidance. The Federal Government is giving guidance and the State is asking for Nursing Homes and Assisted Living residents to harbor in place due to the Federal Government guidance. The community doesn't have any COVID cases. The residents aren't able to dine in the dining room and are forced to eat in their rooms. They aren't able to socialize right now. If you make a break for it, then the community will lock you in confinement for 14 days due to quarantine rules.

I would recommend this community to friends. Due to the care that the residents get, and it feels like a home away from home. This is how they make you feel. You feel warm, and my loved one is very cared for. The activities have included board games out in the hallways and in the dining room. The memory care unit has a dining room of their own. The started indoor and outdoor visits, and the hairdresser just opened back up since COVID. The communication has been really good. The nurses are so caring. My loved one fell and the nurses were very good at keeping me updated with calls twice a day. The owner of the operations anytime there is an update we receive communication from him directly keeping us updated.

My loved one was only there for a few months. What I saw I liked, and if he had been there longer it might have changed. My loved one was in a different community due to memory care. The first place he was at the age of 93. The nice thing about the Atrium they take care of memory care until death, unless it is a sever medical problem. The staff seemed to be caring, organized, the atmosphere was so nice. It was like being like home. It was a breath of fresh air and like a family. They had physical therapy and everything they did to try and work with him. This may have been because he was new and I didn't see this at the prior community. The Atrium had evaluate him in every way. There were always some type of activities such as singing, play some sort of game to help with memory. The residents were never in their rooms. They were always trying to make sure they were out doing arts and crafts or some type of activity.
