Need to do a better job at keeping up with the residents belongings

They did well in trying to care for my Father-In-Law. He was a difficult person as far as his eating habits. We supplied sheets, towels, clothes, and an expensive mattress cover. A lot of these things came up missing. They need to do a better job of keeping up with the residents personal belongings.

Really Clean and Friendly

Bozeman Lodge is a friendly place, located community in Bozeman, which mattered to me and ultimately, it helped me make a decision to go with this community. It is a new facility that is also well kept. Another plus for me, because I do not have to replace or repair things. The community is really clean and friendly.

Could be better

I only knew this one in Portland. They are understaffed. They promise things they don’t deliver, but the activities are wonderful. The staff is wonderful. Food is not healthy- it’s high fat and there are no fruits and vegetables.

Found the facility clean and the staff very pleasant. The one draw back is no kitchens so if you like to bake or cook some of your meals you are out of luck. Apartments were bright and quite spacious. The food so so, and not a lot of choices on the menu.

Hope it gets better

They have been making a lot of mistakes and there seems to be a lot of issues going on. I just don't feel that my loved one is safe. They have had equipment failures and seems like the biggest problem is a lack of communication between the staff. The food here is not great and our loved one does not like it here.

clean, quiet, modest therefore more manageable $ wise. I was surprised that the room comes empty, but not a show stopper. They have 2 private rooms available. I was also surprised by their business model: they charge a base rate + they charge u for every little thing: diapers, shower help, feeding help, medicine dispensing help etc etc. Also they have the RN on site only 20hrs/week, which they say is legal. The RN has been w them for 10yrs, this is a plus. Bathrooms are shared w other residents.

Visited 5/28/2010. Dogs allowed. Internet may be free as in Tacoma, but on edge. No air conditioning in the room, only in the hallway on the top floor. Residents seem to be comfortable, enjoy the staff and living there. Staff were very casually dressed which seemed to fit. No kitchens, but they provide a small refrigerator and microwave. Amenities only seemed to exclude telephone. Building needs significant upgrading inside and out. I was surprised to see that director supplied a two page list of additional places in Tacoma to visit.

A very nice facility and exceptional staff. I found that the complex being of an older design did not provide apartments with an adequate kitchen area... small appliances and in a closet so no real kitchen that would provide for an easier transition from a home to an apartment.

Not great

For the amount of money we expected more. Folks never followed through on requests for fixes to items in the room, walker failures, etc. Room was dark and depressing. The assistants were very pleasant. Because of COVID, did not expect many activities..

Not Open and Bright

I toured Sweetbriar Villa. I found that the community was nice and clean, but it felt too cramped, and I thought that a wheelchair would have a hard time fitting comfortably in the halls and doorways. The place just wasn’t as open and bright as what I was hoping for.

Other options for care

We toured this community for care for my mom. I thought that it was dark and we did not like the atmosphere. This did not have the feeling that we wanted. We would have had to bring in some appliances for my mom. The layout would have been hard. We would recommend that families tour this community to see if this is what they are looking for

Review for Farmington Square at Gresham

They need to be more aware of what's going on. And they should have cameras.T he people are nice but they don't have enough workers there, and the food is terrible. Overall, we picked this community because of the cost, and location.

IF I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW, NO WAY!

I will say RUN, don’t walk AWAY! My Mom hated it there and would always tell me she would never come back to that place again! I moved her to another memory care facility and she hasn’t said that about the new place once and loves it! Some of the caregivers were good, some just liked to hide in supply rooms or other areas of Arbor’s. Most days it was almost impossible to see someone in the common areas supervising the elderly. Turnover was big and during the huge snow storm they weren’t able to plow their parking lot. There are a couple of women patients who were bullies and one who was my Mom’s former roommate was the worst. When I moved her out in February Arbor’s quibbled over two days of rent because there were only 28 days. The contract does say 30 days. I sure hope that two extra days were worth it because it sure didn’t help with their customer relations. Neither my husband nor myself would ever enroll there and I will tell everyone I know not to go there! Good riddance!

The food here was dismal for my loved one and when I tasted it the same thing. Some of the staff was not as pleasant to work with as others as well as their attitudes weren't as pleasant as I would've hoped for. My loved one contracted COVID during their stay here.
