My sister in law is happy at Lakeview Terrace and we are very happy with the move here. It is a nice looking place and very clean and well kept looks great.The staff seems to be good we had a little situation with her medicine and I brought it in to her it wasn't being given to her right way but I brought up my concerns with the staff and they have since addressed the problem and fixed it. They have good activities here my sister in law plays bingo and has even made some new friends. The residents here are very kind loving and caring people it's really a great group of people to have her around. You do get your value for your money here and I would recommend this community and to anyone just remember to encourage your loved to take part in the community and the activities they offer.

Chateau Brickyard has been very slow on any maintenance and repairs that we have needed. My sister-in-law needed the balcony repaired, because it had rotted and it's been two years and still hasn't been fixed. There have also been issues with them providing meals for diabetics or lactose intolerant residents. Stephanie and anyone in the office were always helpful.

I am not sure if it is HIPAA related or what but there is so much paperwork at The Lodge at Quail Park. When you apply there it is all paper based. If they had anything electronic that would really help. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. They do need more medical staff. The ratio of the care giving staff is fine. But they need more medical technicians.

My siblings and I moved our mother into the Chateau a little over a year ago. She has a good size one bedroom with plenty of room for her. They provide housekeeping service and three meals in the dining room. She can cook a light meal in her apartment if she wants to, perfect for her breakfast since she's not an early riser. The staff are warm and very in tune to the residents personalities and individual needs. There's always a hug when a resident needs one! The activities offered are perfect - bingo, darts, Wii bowling, craft classes, and outings away from the Chateau. My siblings and I are very pleased with the Chateau and our mother is very happy living there. We know she's safe and secure in a very nice community of people.

The staff is friendly & helpful. They've done a great job getting my mother situated & involved immediately.

My father lived there and the staff was very friendly, they definitely provided assistance beyond what would have been expected in independent living. In that regard it was wonderful, the difficulty we had was with the hospice people. We had to contract them to get hospice care and the people we contracted were atrocious. They were horrible.

One thing that I would mention, and this is the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way, they converted a hallman into several small rooms and they had the smallest toilets and sinks I have ever seen. They are shorter than a standard size and for old folks they could improve that.

Memory Care facility has many caring staff members, from CNAs up to the unit's administrator. Many greet me by name when I stop to visit my mother. Common areas and resident's rooms consistently appear clean and clutter free. Common area just completed small makeover with fresh coat of paint, new furniture and wall mounted TV. Staff does a nice job decorating inside the unit for holiday occassions. Mom consistently says breakfast and lunch taste good. Unit administrator always attends, provides feedback and comments as well as facilitates discussions with myself and my sibling to improve Mom's well being.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Avalon Assisted Living seemed like a nice place, overall. The facility and its furnishings seemed a bit more dated and not as fancy as some of the other options we saw, but the apartments themselves were large, spacious, and bright. It was also very reasonably priced.

I like the size of the facility. It's not too large. You get to know the residents and staff easily. The administration is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient. It is close to local hospitals. The is one of the main reasons why we chose this facility. We have had only very minor issues. Overall, we had a positive experience at the LaChateau at Brickyard Place. It is a nice community.

It was an excellent experience at The Lodge on Preston Ridge. The only area I can think of where they might can improve would be the food. It's not terrible but could definitely be better. Other than that everything is great. It is a very nice clean place with excellent friendly helpful caring staff.

We were going to have our loved one move here, but Mom didn't feel it met her standard of living. Our loved one uses a walker, and wanted to be close to a dining area. The facility was smaller than the one where he currently is. The layout was just not as spacious. It reminded me of apartments. The staff made it a point to talk to all of the residents, and they were very friendly. They spent a lot of time with us, the director knew most of the residents' names. They charge by levels/tiers of care. They have activity groups, and they take field trips/off site trips.

This is a simple and sweet facility. Residents were conversing and interacting in the central area. It is a bit smaller in scale than some of the others I have visited and that lends to residents getting to know one another. Maybe not the best solution for a single Memory Care resident, but they could handle it with Wander Lost (sp?). It had a calm, but lively feel. Not too pretentious yet still a nice homey place.

We looked at both Garden Squares and ended up going with the one in Westlake. This was more of a community kind of place, everyone is around each other all the time. There didn't seem to be as much privacy as the other place. They did a wonderful job with the tour, they explained everything to me. It was very nice, but it just didn't seem to fit her needs as well as the other one.

I'm very impressed with Avalon Assisted Living. All is going well so far and my loved one is adjusting. I'm satisfied with the services offered, the friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the facility.

It was really tiny, there isn't even a corner to walk around. The rooms and the dining room were in same hallway. This just wasn't a good fit for us. It was clean and they were friendly and it seemed like they would be good for some but it wasn't big enough for our needs.

The communication between the staff from shift to shift could be improved a little. We chose it because it came very highly recommended, and because it was sanctioned by the alzheimers association. If you have a loved one who needs it I would choose this facility if it is available.

6.5 miles. Least desirable location so far but really liked everything else. Have 1-bdrm like mom's current situation! They take medicaide for all levels of care. Most affordable so far. Trying to understand why.

for CBRF 'enhanced' assisted living person has studio apt, with more intimate (does this mean shared) living and dinning room. Invited to come for free meal and stay overnight. Bldg looks newer. Optional on-site religious services. hair salon T-Th; patio, sunroom, laundry each floor.

Locations didn't work out. But Shirley was great to work with, and I really though the facility had good points for my parents.
