I have been here for over 5 years and have been supported and cared for with no complaints. I appreciate the overall care that is shown and given to everyone.

I have a mother in memory care and a brother with special needs in assisted living. Both are cared for very well by the staff. Each has their own unique needs and the staff go out of their way to help. Medical, dietary and personal care needs are especially monitored and fulfilled.

From the intake process to the point we find ourselves now, of bringing Hospice alongside her in house care team, my mom has always been very well cared for and received personal attention. We have peace of mind.

It seems like our loved one is enjoying the meals and dining service and the staff are doing their best to keep our loved one engaged and active. It is expensive but based on the experience we have had so far with Symphony we would recommend them to other families.

This community did not allow cats and this was something my loved one wanted to be able to do was to take her cat with her. The community was okay but it was not really what I was looking for for my loved one and the location was further out. It was not a bad tour just not what I was really looking for.

We chose The Winfield because I just liked the memory care unit here and the facility itself is very convenient for me. They do have private rooms and they are very generous in size. The problem we have had is they switched over management in January, so there has been a lot of turnover of staff in all departments, but I think it will even out eventually. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

The tour was great but we found the facility to be too large and figured our friend would find it intimidating.

Staff are kind, work hard and genuinely care about residents. Need more staff and activities for memory care residents. More structure day to day with activity provides good stimulation and could reduce behaviors.

My father is a resident at The Woodlands. There is a lot of staff turnover, from the dietary staff, to nursing, to office, on up to the administration. He stated that as soon as he gets used o someone, they are gone. Regarding dietary, he has asked about certain vegetables to be served sometimes (yams and lima beans or butter beans), but they are not served. He does like most of the music activities. Also, thanks for the cookouts you sometimes have.

Woodland of Middletown has been a wonderful place for my mom. I feel very close to the staff and know they pass love to my mom. Thank you all.

Great community. Would give 5 stars if there were more dining room options for the residents.

I think Symphony Manor for the price is a better value then the other communities we looked at. It is very clean and smells good. Symphony Manor is more updated then other communities that we looked at. I feel they have a variety of residents with different levels of care.

This location meets all of my Mother's desires for a new location to live at this point in her life. As well as have the ability to meet her needs in the future. Which is really important to her family.

Symphony Manor has given my mother a much independent living as she can have at this point in her life - she will be 99 this year. The staff is very responsive and is providing her the care she needs while affording her as much privacy as she desires. The food is good and there are lots of activities she can take advantage of.

Only drawback was distance Very nice clean and cheerful facility.

The Woodlands was neat, clean and seemed well kept. The staff was friendly and the residents and family I spoke with all seemed very happy with The Woodlands of Middletown. The studio apartment is quite small, but that was the only drawback. We will still keep them on our short list. A one bedroom apartment came open and my mother signed the lease for it. Our search is over.

Renovations/upkeep make the facility look inviting (& not hospital-like/sterile), smaller size makes it not overwhelming. Happy to know they are starting a new program to divide activities for higher functioning & lower functioning members.

[Removed] and I toured the community yesterday and we both were favorably impressed. We met some residents who enthusiastically recommended Harbor Court. We have an appointment to take mom for a visit tomorrow. I hope she likes the facility.
