Silverado Senior Living

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, it was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, it was also very expensive. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

I have been very pleased with Silverado Sierra Vista. The staff are all great. I have all of their cell numbers, and I really appreciate that I can reach any of them any time I need anything. They are very good about contacted me to keep me informed of how things are going. It is a nice place, very spacious and great to walk around in.

They have been very reliable for us. They have given us a consistent caregiver. It was exactly what we were looking for. The billing has been smooth. They were able to address each of my concerns when we interviewed them. They take him to their facility, and he goes and has lunch, and the caregiver stays with him, they have activities. It has been great!

One of the better Memory Care Centers I have ever seen. Clean, Friendly, Well trained staff, with activities to meet the needs of every resident there. My personal experience in admitting my Dementia parent into this facility was met with patience, calmness, and reassurance that everything would be taken care of properly. My "Loved One" and I were met at the door by professional nurses and caretakers who welcomed us into there community. They stayed with her and calmly talked with her until she was able to fall asleep in her new bed and new room. Then the directory of the facility stayed with me until 10:30pm that evening explaining and filling out all the necessary admittance paperwork required for registration that evening. Her dedication and professionalism in "Caring For Others" earns her the Highest praise and compliment that I could ever award anyone with. She was at the facility since 10:00am Easter morning, and was expecting us around noon. Due to ambulance transport difficulties, we were not able to arrive until 6:30pm that evening. We had been traveling since midnight that day, coming down from Northern California, and had not eaten all day. The director made sure we all got a meal, at her personal cost, before all else. Etta Martin is the Greatest Guardian Angel Silverado - Calabasas will ever have.

They were super! My father was not there very long before he passed away, but they were just over and above and beyond the call of duty and were very helpful with things. I have visited numerous such places, and this one was head and shoulders above the rest, even others that were more expensive. I highly recommend Silverado Encinitas.

Amazing Engagement with activities. You would think they were a non-profit by the way they run things. I do not know how to say how happy we are. They engage the whole person, not just the body. It has been good. It is different than our other experience in another assisted living facility. They are black and white. I am so pleased with the level of care he is receiving.

We have been very pleased with Silverado Belmont Hills. In wondering around looking for a place to put my wife, I found Silverado to be a very welcoming friendly place. The residents and staff all greeted us and seemed very happy there, which was much different than other places we visited. I do hate that she is having to live there as she was such a vital active person, then all of a sudden her head disappeared and she has to be at a place like this now. It is a wonderful place though and if she has to be at such a place I am happy that it is here.

I cannot say enough good things about Silverado and the people working there. We live out of town yet still feel connected to my brother. Although it was disorientating when he first arrived the staff calmed him down and there has been no looking back since. A big worry that we had was that he wouldn't want to join in, turns out he asks what is next when one activity ends. We are using Silverado's furniture and he has a shared room, two things that we were apprehensive about because he had a favorite chair and had been living alone. He has totally adjusted and doesn't complain about them at all. It's been two weeks and we have been receiving daily communications and there is a conference call set for next week for us to ask any questions of the medical and facility staff. As sad as dementia is Silverado is the best place for my brother.

They do an absolutely unbelievable job at Silverado Beverly Place, I'd rate them 6 out of 5 if I could! We've had experience with a few other communities and the staff at Silverado has really blown me away. They're better staffed, better trained, and so much better at interacting with family members. The doctor that sees my loved one calls me frequently and is always available to answer questions. They've also got support groups available to help families through hard times. I can't recommend them highly enough!

My mom loves it here. They offer some fun scheduled and planned activities. It’s a very clean and nice place and my mom is doing really well here. We are happy and would recommend it to others.

This is one of the best hospitality experiences I have ever had. It is incredible!

We are doing pretty good so far. We don't have any complaints at all so far, even the food is excellent. We are pretty happy with them.

This community is exceptional. I have no complaints with the care that my loved one has received. It is a very clean, friendly and caring community. My loved one is receiving hospice care and they are treating him wonderfully. They do go out of their way to accommodate the needs of their community residents.

They just go above and beyond to acommidate the residents and their families. They really look to help you do whatever it is that you want to do for your loved one. The only area for possible improvement that I can think of is that my husband has commented to me about the food not being very good. Other than that it has been a really good experience with Silverado Calabasas. Everybody there does really an exceptional job.

They're doing an exceptional job at Silverado Belmont Hills, I'd give them top marks across the board. They really seem to do everything well! My loved one is a very difficult case, but I couldn't be happier with how they are handling everything. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and the medical director in particular is wonderful. I would highly recommend them!

My friend that is staying at Silverado Beach Cities is doing great. She was at a different facility where she was left alone too much and it was not a good situation, and since she has been at Silverado Beach Cities she has really done a complete 180. The founders really knew what they were doing when they set this place up. They knew that these people suffering with Alzheimers and dementia should not be left alone, and need to be engaged and watched over. They keep her mind focused on other things, interacting with other residents, etc. They really hit the nail on the head with what these people need, and they truly deliver it !

We are extremely pleased. My mother calls it Silver Ridge Resort. The food is like a five star restaurant, and the presentation is really special. They make the residents feel very special with the presentation. The atmosphere was very quiet and serene. It's back is to a retention pond, the property is 5-10 acres, it's a beautiful setting. The price is somewhat negotiable, and I felt it was very reasonable. She thinks the caregivers are so nice, and she really likes it there.

Silverado is hands-down the best place for people with dementia. My mother had been in a Sunrise community for several years, but the staff were not able to keep up with (or really understand) her needs as her dementia increased. We moved her to Silverado after she fell and broke her hip (not totally Sunrise's fault, no one can monitor every resident every minute 24/7). All of the staff at Silverado really "got" dementia and what she needed, and were exceedingly caring. They offer in-house health and dental services, which was a blessing as getting her to a doctor's appt was a three-person job towards the end. I only wish we had moved her to Silverado earlier.

They people are very friendly. They’re very caring. They went out of way to help. Everything is well kept and tidy. I never had the chance to eat there. The staff was the best though, and we were happy with everything they offered.

Mom still hasn't moved into The Huntington. There are still no openings. She has moved from Silverado Beverly Place to Silverado Sierra Vista in Azusa. We like Sierra Vista a lot and so does she. We were lucky to have her transferred to Sierra Vista, which is closer for all family members to see her more often. The Beverly Place Fairfax/Melrose location of L.A. was not convenient for anyone. The care at the Silverados is very good and they have "brought mom back" from being a zombie to more of a functioning person who needs lots of care. The facilities are very nice and the staff is wonderful. All staff members are responsive to our questions or concerns. We are kept informed about mom's condition and her needs. We have meals with mom, with no additional charge. We don't do this very often but it's a nice benefit for us to know we can do this when we arrive to see her. It helps us to see how she is eating too. The Silverados are not inexpensive, but they are giving mom a better value than other places mom had to endure, because of the philosophy and training of Silverado, and the loving care provided by the Silverado staff. Fortunately, mom has long term care insurance which covers the cost for her to live at a Silverado Memory Care Community.
