When it comes to memory care Silverado Senior Living is the top of the line when it comes to memory care. They are the ones to beat when it comes to memory care. They seem to hire the right people. The staff is what makes the difference. It seems like they go through hundreds of people just to hire the right one. The staff knows everybody by name and they know what is going on with each one of the residents. They have meeting daily to share the information about what happened the last 24 hours so that everyone is on the same page. They just have such a great open line of communication that it does not matter who you talk to when you call they know what the situation is without having to repeat it. There is no one is North America doing memory care better then Silverado. They have several communities across the country and are all ran the same way and are a mirror image of one another. They only hire those people looking for a career in this industry rather then those just looking for a job. The entire staff seems to have a true passion for what they do. The staff is just so great that no body goes wanting to anything. I just can't say enough great things about Silverado and their staff. They allow the residents the freedom to wander around in the community but they are always keeping their eyes on them and will direct them when it’s needed. This is the place to be when it comes to memory care. The regional director was in the area when I was looking at this community and he actually picked up the phone and called me just to see what they could do better and how they could best suit my need. I am extremely happy with Silverado and would recommend it to anyone that has a loved one that needs memory care. If there is not a Silverado in your area and are in need, I would move to an area with one and you would not be disappointed.

The staff here is just great. She really likes it here. We are very happy we chose Silverado.

This is a great place for anyone's mom! I was impressed by Silverado's staff Antionette, Dottie, and Linda were very helpful and informative. This community is perfect for hands-on help and daily activities in all areas. They keep their residents engaged. They have pets throughout the community that are shared by the residents. I'm so glad a place for mom found Silverado and it was so close to home.

Toured April 25. Antoinette was wonderful. My dad will say it's too expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised with this facility. It is also about 5 minutes from my house in Glendora. I will be getting my wife home in the next couple of days. I have a caregiver 24/7 who is excellent and has taken care of my wife for 7 months. I plan on keeping this going for as long as possible. When this is no longer possible, I will have to place her and it would most likely be at Silverado. I will however check out the the other places before that time comes. Thanks for your help.

Silvarado was memory care exclusively. It very nice and would have met most of our needs. Approximately twice as large as Lake Springs. The cost quoted was for a shared apartment.

Beautiful interiors, special touches, love the family atmosphere and pets welcome attitude. Not as many amenities as Belmont, but nice garden/patio and game room. Private rooms available at same cost. 5 stars for location/amenity.

The Director was really nice - sent a bouquet of flowers. place is beautiful - like a luxury hospital. very professional.

Silverado is an amazing memory care facility. On each floor is a small community of residence who suffer from dementia or other memory impairment at various levels of these cruel diseases. The staff creates such a lovely family environment. Each member from administration, nurses, caregivers, food and laundry service to reception know each resident by name and know how to connect with them. In my father's case, it is not an easy task because he suffers from Lewybody dementia, (a form or Parkinson's and Dementia) but somehow they manage to make him laugh and smile. The staff is warm, respectful, kind and loving with the residents even when they are unaware that you’re watching. They are happy and caring by nature. I do not have the skills necessary to properly care for my father. Silverado provides the "loving family" environment and well-trained staff that my brothers and I cannot. They encourage family visits. Family members are always welcome at any hour. Meals with your loved one are complimentary. The staff is very communicative. Questions and phone calls are promptly return and staff is always available. We wanted to give my father the same safe lovely environment he and my mother gave us growing up. We found it in Silverado.

Wonderful place with outstanding loving care. While Silverado Is not one of the newer places in town, it proved to be the best place for my Mom. My Mom just passed away this spring and was at Silverado for almost 3 years. She had no serious illness other than dementia & memory loss and sadly lost the ability to walk - even though she always thought she could. My Mom was a bit difficult to handle at times, but the entire Silverado staff was able to manage her so very well. She was their Jersey girl, with a bit of a Jersey attitude; but she left this world a happy person, and I have Silverado & their staff to thank for that. When my Mom first needed to go into a care facility, my husband & I visited Silverado and decided to place my Mom somewhere else. After three months, and it wasn’t working out, I took her to Silverado, and it’s the best move I was able to make. When you watch the staff there at work, it’s amazing that they’re able to keep everything in such good clean order, with all the residents also being very well attended to. There are a lot of special needs people there, and they seem to be able to handle it all. So - If you don’t need a new, fancy place for your loved one to live, but you’re looking good loving care, Silverado is the place.

I toured at Silverado for my loved one, and have heard so many great things about the community from others who have loved ones there as well. It's a great community. The staff is wonderful, and the place is clean and well maintained. I would absolutely recommend it to others if it is within their budget.

Very profesional and attentive staff trained well in handling memory care issues. Good communication with family on any and all issues.

My husband had been at Silverado Escondido for day care so I was familiar with their community and it is set-up well for Alzheimers/dementia care. But I felt that when it came time to find a place for my husband that it was just too busy an atmosphere for him and he would have trouble adjusting and just be too confusing. It was a nice experience, but it wasn't the right fit for my husband.

My father has recently moved into this community and we have no complaints of how things are going for him. The staff are all lovely and I am comfortable with the care he has been receiving. He has had no problems with the meals and he has been provided and enjoys the activities he is able too throughout the week. The thing I am most impressed with would have to be the security of the building. I have a peace of mind that my dad is in good hands and is safe in his new living environment.

Transitioned my mother from living independently to memory care at Silverado Berkeley. It was a tough move - even though Mom is definitely not able to take care of herself and was deteriorating rapidly while on her own, she really fought being placed in an "old folks home". After the first week, however, it was clear that the environment at Silverado Berkeley - especially the staff and residents - were just what she needed. The difference in her responses and levels of agitation are marked - dementia, of course, can't be cured but the symptoms were greatly eased for her. The facility is quite expensive, but the physical, mental and emotional care given are worth it. I appreciate that they are not just supportive of my mom, but also of me as mom's primary caregiver/responsible party. I'm relieved to have mom in a place that's helping her to maintain the level of independence she still has for as long as she can, while keeping her in a safe, active and pleasant environment. BTW - mom loves the food here - she comments on it every time I visit, and is always trying to get me to eat there.

Mom was only at this community for a short time before she passed away. The caregivers are extremely professional and caring. They have such a natural routine for memory care. We could not have asked for better hospice nurses. One of the nurses even stayed with us when she passed away. We were able to stay in a room next door and they did not charge us for food. They welcomed dad and their service dog with open arms. I know she was safe we would use this community again.
